Graduating from Manassas High School in 2011, young Colbert adopted the moniker “iHeartMemphis” because he loves people and he was never shy in representing the city of Memphis. Shortly after graduation he started gain ing a fanbase on the social networking platform, Instagram. He began modeling and performing comedy skits to gain attention and developed 50K followers pretty quickly. It was during this time that Colbert, now known by his fans as iHeartMemphis, taught himself to dance. In February 2014 he recorded his first song on a track produced by Palm Tree Ent. producer, Buck Nasty. He recorded his 1st hit single “Hit the Quan”. “I spent $35 making ‘Hit the Quan’ in the studio,” he recalls. Today, the official video for “Hit the Quan” has over 62 Million views on YouTube, all thanks to Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms. “I credit the success of ‘Hit the Quan’ on social media,” he adds. In December 2015, “Hit the Quan” was certified platinum and his second single, “Lean and Dabb” released later that year was certified gold. iHeartMem phis has been featured in numerous magazines and television shows including The Ellen Show, The Today Show, The Real, The Breakfast Club, MTV’s Wild ‘N Out and he closed out the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards with an outstanding memorable performance in Atlanta, GA.
Today, he has over 450,000 followers on Instagram, more than 270,000 subscribers on YouTube and sold out shows across the Unit ed States and around the world. In Mid-2017, iHeart Memphis started the iHeartMemphis Foundation which gives back to the community and the youth. He continues to perform, record and represent his label, Palm Tree Entertainment to the fullest. His latest projects include the Hands Up Anthem “Left Foot, Right Foot” and other YouTube hits such as “Yea Jack”, “Hands Up”, and “The Benny Whip”.

Richard Colbert, better known by his stage name iHeartMemphis/iLoveMemphis, was born in 1993 to parents Richard and Cheril Colbert. Colbert developed an interest in music at a young age, growing up in a highly religious family with his twin sister, Shay. It wasn’t until his late teens, however, that he pondered the idea of pursuing a full-time music career.
