EXPERIENCE MORE SUMMER CAMP 2016 | RANCHO FAMILY YMCA

A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR Dear Parents, Summer 2016 is fast approaching! The Rancho Family YMCA is excited to kick off the 2016 Summer Camp Season! We strive to create the best possible summer experience for you and your child. We understand that you want a safe, fun and structured environment in which your children can stay active. Our summer 2016 program is designed to foster learning, making and being a friend and becoming a part of something bigger. Each week, campers will have the opportunity to try something new, engage in team building and group activities, participate in global education and make new friends. By choosing the Y you are joining a day camp program that is American Camp Association (ACA) accredited. We meet the highest standards in the nation’s day camping industry by passing over 200 requirements. We aim to keep a fresh menu of camps available to provide campers with variety. With that in mind, the Rancho Family YMCA has added several new and exciting camps this summer including LEGO: Pneumatics, Photography, Theatre, and three new cooking camps! Let your child explore their natural curiosity and challenge themselves cognitively, physically and socially in one of the many camp options offered by the Y. Thank you for trusting us to be a part of your family this summer! Sincerely,

Sarah Trujillo Camp & Adventure Guides Director strujillo@ymca.org

WHAT PARENTS SAY ABOUT Y CAMP 2

“It was the first time our daughter attended this camp and it was a blast. We love the family friendliness of the camp and the inclusion program!” “It gives our daughter a little independence yet she is watched over and safe with the wonderful camp counselors. New experiences, new friends and great activities make her stronger, happier, and well-rounded.” “He went to BMX camp. He loved it!! We have been going to YMCA camp for years and this is the best camp ever. I also went to BMX track two times and was very impressed.” “My daughter has been to 3 other Y camps and this is by far the best experience for her. Thank you to all the staff for greeting her by name and enjoying your job and never seeming burned out. She loved the Friday camp rallies and memorized each song, and won many spirit sticks! Keep up the great work!!”
