THURSDAY, JUNE 30, 2022 — FAMILY NIGHT: 8:00 PM-MIDNIGHT FRIDAY & SATURDAY, JULY 1 & 2 — 21 & OVER: 8:00 PM-1:00 AM GATE ADMISSION — $5 PER PERSON LOCATION — 303 MONTEZUMA ST. (IN THE DEPOT MARKETPLACE PARKING LOT) BAND — LONESOME VALLEY
Popular local musician Sky Conwell has been called Prescott’s “hardest-working” entertainer. With four working bands and a solo act playing all around town nearly every day (often multiple times in one day), he certainly lives up to the hype. When asked the question “Where do you play?” he often replies with a question of his own, “Where do I NOT play?” There is a reason Sky is so popular — he is talented, fun, personable, and he has a way of making his audience smile of pure enjoyment. Country music is Sky’s roots. His band Lonesome Valley plays popular country dance hits that span decades. Set lists include tunes by Hank Williams, Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, George Strait, Dwight Yoakam, Steve Earle, Darius Rucker, Kenny Chesney, and Chris Stapleton. The band also likes to throw in some familiar classic country rock dance tunes to liven things up... tunes by The Eagles, CCR, or Tom Petty. Also in the band is George Janak, the most wanted bass player/lead guitarist in town, and drummer Mike Hutchinson, who has shared the stage with many celebrities such as Charlie Rich, Dottie West, and Barbara Mandrell.
