Each Sunday in March there will be a donation basket on the display table in the Gathering Area. Please pray for the hungry, and the hunger mission group. New volunteers are always welcome to join the group! WEDNESDAY MORNING COMMUNION IN LENT All are welcome to Wednesday Morning Communion. During Lent the weekly service is held in the Chapel from Wednesday, February 26 through April 8 at 7:00 AM. May you consider taking up this discipline of worship during this sacred season, that we might grow closer to our God.

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN WORDS OF LOVE FROM GOD – Remember the Sabbath and Keep It Holy. This month in PW we will seek “to understand the gift of Sabbath and to recover a sense of the sacred urgency of Sabbath-keeping for human life and the created order. We will not only discover how our biblical ancestors began each new day with rest and renewal to equip them for the work of the daylight hours, but we will also reflect on how Sabbath was also “a declaration of inclusivity and equality that is at the heart of God’s will for the created order.“ Come join us on March 10th at 10:30 AM in room 203 above the chapel for an enlightening Bible study, engaging fellowship, and an exceptional luncheon. What do we need to bring? $5.00 for lunch, a faithful heart to study God’s love letter, and a listening ear to learn of his direction for our lives. We ARE Presbyterian Women! Please join us! Contact any of our officers if you want additional information. Co-Moderators: Peggy Martin and Ellen Austin Secretary/Historian: Lola Landers Treasurer: Susan Kessler Mission Coordinator: Cathy Slone Circle Leaders: Lynne Fields, Camilla Cabaniss, Susan Kessler

SAVE THE DATE FOR SUMMER VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL! God has shared a big dream with you. It’s a dream in which all creation harmoniously lives together in God’s love. When you hear about this dream it takes root in you, grows up, and produces even more seed! It’s a contagious crop, which multiplies in your kids and even spreads to their friends and families! Who knows what kind of harvest will come from our Summer Vacation Bible School – ReNew: The Green VBS™! We will study the Parable of the Sower, Mark 4:1-9, during our week together. One of Jesus’ favorite gardening techniques is telling parables — simple stories with a twist. Parables spark our curiosity, surprise us, and turn our hearts toward Jesus. If you were to ask any gardener, they’d tell you that good soil seldom just happens. It is the result of a gardener’s hard work—weeds are meticulously pulled by hand, rocks and stones are painstakingly picked out, and hard dirt is tilled to create easy passageway for a root system. Good soil doesn’t make itself good; it is lovingly prepared by its gardener. We will explore how God does this when the seed of love, whose name is Jesus, is planted in us. When this seed takes root we become gardeners too! Gardeners called to care for the earth and one another as God cares for us! God’s persistent dream for creation is a reality right now, let’s live it! Save the Date - Vacation Bible School is July 13-16, 2020 from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM. All four-year-olds (potty trained) to rising 5th graders are invited to attend! Registration will open April 1 at rcpres.org.
