THE BARRAGE PART I: ASKING ALL DEM QUESTIONS “Big Boy” Hunter LOVES sports. He has trophies from basketball, baseball, track, soccer, and wrestling. He wants to step up his game to a hardcore sport... FOOTBALL.
Hunter is in his room pacing, looking at his posters. Robert Griffin III,
Kevin Garnett, Usain Bolt, The Rock. Then he looks at his trophies. Basketball, baseball, track, soccer, wrestling. And realizes that he doesn’t have a trophy from his favorite sport(football). He didn’t play And he knows how his mom is about all violent sports. But she let him do wrestling! So now he has to prove to his mom that he can play football. And he knows how to impress his mom. He jogs down the stairs and finds his mom in the kitchen ordering Chinese food. When she hangs up Hunter says., ‘’Mom I want to play football’’ “Nah, you can’t play you’ll get hurt,” Mom said normally. “But I’m built for football. I got height, strength, speed, leg power, and I got heck of a throwing arm,’’ he said emphatically. “No!” she sighed. “Everybody thinks I should play but you! Why won’t you let me play!?” Mom leaves the room in distress. Hunter sits down to drink some tea. He thinks about his wrestling days back on the mat.Back in his room, he is playing Madden 13. Now he wants to play football even more. Afterward he plays Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. That calmed him down. Then his sister Tori came and sat next to him. “Hey, Hunter, what’s up with you?” she said curiously. “Eh, nothing. I’m just mad that mom won’t let me play football. Do you think I’m built for it?” he replied. “Well I love you, and I don’t want you to get hurt. But I agree with you, you are built for football.” she confessed. “But I also have LOTS of xfactors! Let me tell you them. I’ve got speed, height, strength, leg power, and a great throwing arm!” he replied emphatically. “Broski, you got to understand, someone who is taller, stronger, and faster could get you injured. That’s how I broke my nose while playing soccer. That one stronger girl with a strong leg tried to score... BAM! I get hit in the face! Thats all my advice I can give you.” She emphasized.
Tori leaves and goes back in her room because she is having a cheerleader slumber party. Back in Hunter’s room, he is chilling watching South Park. He is sad that Kenny got killed and is sad at the same time that he can’t play football. Then he finally thinks of a plan... His plan is to prove to his mom that he can play football. The next day, while he was at his best friend’s house Hunter got a football and started to play with Wade. Hunter’s mom watches them play football and is impressed with what Hunter is able to do. “ Mom, you see?! I can play football!” he said while he was out of breath. “Well, I am impressed with what you were able to do. But just like what happened with your sister, can happen to you. However there is something I want to give to you,” she pulls out of her sweatshirt a football sign up sheet. Hunter was incredibly excited. “YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!” he said excitedly.
PART II: THE DREAM COMES TRUE “Fry dat chicken, fry dat chicken, fry dat chicken... yup we’re gonna fry dat chicken, fry dat chicken, fry dat chicken... you hear me?!” That is Hunter’s favorite song. The next day he went to Wade’s house and they were talking about football. “Ay, now that I am a football player, maybe I will go pro and make it to the NFL, or go to Ohio State and be a star! This is big!,” Hunter said. “Yeah,but my team is gonna go to the AFC east and beat you guys! No offense,”Wade replied. “Nah, you guys are gonna lose because I will be a linebacker and I will protect the quarterback so he can throw a touchdown!,” he replied. “OK say that but when it’s all said and done, we would have won the AFC east!, he replied.”
PART III: AFC EAST Hunter is in part of the AFC east tournament, and has put all of his blood, sweat, and tears in this tournament. “Finally! Hunter has come back to the AFC Eaaaast!” announced the special guest commentator Jim Nantz. Every time the San Francisco 49ers played Hunter would go. He met Jim Nantz at the game and Jim loved Hunters personality, so thats why he announced that from the booth. The sad thing is that Wade’s team and Hunter’s team is in the AFC finals(Hunter and Wade are best friends and they had to face each other).
This game between Hunter and Wade was a “whatever you can do, I can do better” back and forth game. This game was a nail chomper. But then, with 45 seconds to go in the 4th, the quarterback had the ball. With a quick fake to a receiver, he slyly handed it off to Brock. Brock cut through the big gap and kept going with four defenders chasing after him. The group gasped and Jim Nantz said, “He’s going all the waaaaaay! It’s a 76 yard running touchdown!” Hunter’s team got the lead! 3429! 54321... HUNTER’S TEAM WINS! Later Hunter goes out of the trainers room and goes to the field and bro hugs his teammates, and Wade. “You were right, you was gonna win, nice job out there!” They do a bro hug and go back to their coach’s side and they feel the trophy. Even though he wasn’t able to watch the rest of the game, he was still happier than ever! (He couldn’t watch the game because he dislocated his shoulder).
I am Hunter, and my barrage has just begun.
