Transit Van SWB shown in Frozen White.
Whatever the future may hold, Transit can carry it Long or tall, big or small, light or heavy, the legendary Transit range can carry it all. With a choice of two wheelbases and three roof heights, it has a great capacity for hard work. Across the range, you will ďŹ nd full-height rear doors and a sliding side load door with minimal wheel arch intrusion to help get the job done quickly, safely and efficiently.
The Transit line-up makes choosing the right van, cab chassis or bus for your business simple. With bold exterior styling, advanced diesel power, safety and superior comfort, the Transit range provides all you could require. With its new economical engine with increased power and torque, plus a variety of driveline and payload configurations. The New Transit is the perfect solution for all your business needs.
Transit Van shown in Ink Blue. Overseas model shown.
Auto-Start-Stop1 Automatically switches off the engine when you come to a halt and restarts smoothly when you want to move off. New diesel engine
Smart Regenerative Charging
Variable Nozzle Turbo
Coated diesel particulate filter (cDPF)
New 2.2 Duratorq TDCi diesel engine with 6-speed manual transmission as standard across the range.
Increases the alternator output to charge the battery when the vehicle brakes or decelerates.
Boost engine torque and throttle response, for a more responsive drive.
Maintenance-free cDPF reduces exhaust particulate emissions.
Your mobile office Spend the best part of your day on the road and not surprisingly, comfort becomes a priority. That’s where Transit’s car-like interior is making a strong case for better working conditions.
Work on the move The Transit’s car-like interior offers handy features, keeping you on top of the job while you drive. Charge your mobile phone on the go, with convenient access to a 12-volt power socket and organise your paper trail with handy rails to hang A4 files in the larger-than-normal glovebox. The Transit has plenty of cup holders, including 2L bottle holders. Combine all this with a more than ample number of storage compartments, remote central locking and CD player and it’s easy to see how the Transit makes business on-the-go simple.

High series cluster standard with Auto-Start-Stop.
Smooth-shifting 6-speed transmission results in fuel savings and more relaxed driving. Now standard across the range.
Safety and security In business, there’s nothing more precious than you and your cargo. So when it comes to safety Transit delivers big time.
Overseas model shown.
The remote central locking key fob incorporates an innovative self charging feature, so it’s always ready to use.
Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) helps avoid understeering and oversteering by correcting the driving line through a combination of brake application to the appropriate wheel and a reduction in engine torque. Transit Van SWB low roof in Frozen White. Overseas model shown.
The solid body structure offers end-to-end strength and surrounds you with a protective shell. Inside, a driver’s airbag and ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Emergency Brake Assist are standard across the range. Plus, for added protection the Transit range includes front passenger airbag, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with Traction Control and Hill Launch Assist. Hill Launch Assist makes it easier for drivers to pull away on a slope, without the need to use the parking brake.
In terms of vehicle and cargo security, Transit is equipped with an engine immobiliser and unique security coded keys standard on every vehicle. Transit also helps safeguard your cargo with features such as load area protection kit 1 and power door deadlocks which make it impossible to open the doors from the inside should an intruder break into the vehicle. Add it all up and you can see why Transit is a safe bet for you and your business. 1. Not available on Cab Chassis or 12 Seat Bus.

Key: All dimensions (shown in mm) are subject to manufacturing tolerances and refer to minimum specification models and do not include additional equipment 1. Rear step, when fitted, adds 227mm to vehicle length. 2. Represents physical opening width of door for Transit 12 seat Bus. 3. Load space shown as SAE/VDA (measured in cubic metres). The SAE method measures the volume of a fine-grained material, such as sand, which can be deposited into the load space. The VDA figure is determined by filling the load space with litre blocks (measuring 200x100x50mm). The blocks are then counted and the numerical result is converted into cubic metres. Ford favours the more realistic VDA method of calculation for measuring ‘usable’ interior load space.
