Reaseheath Student Association
The Reaseheath Student Association works alongside the Student Life Team to organise a wide variety of social activities on-site, including the popular Thursday Social, karaoke and live bands, as well as exciting off-site activities such as go-karting, cinema visits and shopping trips.
Sports
Choose from a wide range of sporting activities – you could join our football, rugby or netball teams and even compete in the North West Association of Colleges (AoC) Sports Leagues, as well as take part in our own friendly league fixtures against other land-based colleges. You can also try out badminton, jujitsu, 5-a-side football, yoga, Clubbercise or indoor climbing.
Our college gym is open to all students and has a range of state-of-the-art equipment including a variety of cardiovascular and resistance machines as well as a vast choice of weights and a hi-tech lifting platform. Membership is available monthly or annually at a competitive rate.
You will also have the chance to complete Duke of Edinburgh awards at Reaseheath. This is a great way to try out new activities and a fantastic opportunity to boost your CV whilst gaining a highly valued award. RAG fundraising
Each year our students select a charity to raise funds for throughout the academic year. A highlight of the student calendar is RAG (Raising and Giving) Week. Our students raise lots of money for charity through raft races, socials, town centre collections, tractor pulls, helping at community events and much, much more! We have raised £280k for nominated charities since RAG began in 1987.
Clubs and societies
If you’re looking to take up a new sport, meet like-minded people or try something new, we have lots of clubs and societies that you can join. From creative arts to conservation, a cappella to photography, there’s something to suit most interests!
Summer celebrations!
A highlight of the year is the college’s annual Summer Ball organised by the Student Association. Previous years have seen Reaseheath host special guests including radio DJs Scott Mills and The Dixon Brothers, Tinchy Stryder, Basshunter, the Hoosiers and X Factor star George Shelley!
Presentation of Awards Ceremony
On completing your course, you will be invited to celebrate your success at our annual awards ceremony along with your family and friends.
