Why choose an apprenticeship?

• Earn a wage with paid holidays • Gain a recognised industry qualification or a degree without incurring any fees • Receive on-the-job training working alongside experienced staff • Learn job specific skills • Enhance career progression within your industry

Apprenticeships are designed to allow you to earn while you learn with most of your time spent at your workplace and usually one day per week at Reaseheath or, if you’re on a national programme, you will attend college on block release. You will be paid for attending college by your employer.

There are various types and levels of apprenticeships from Level 2 (intermediate) through to Level 5 (degree). Before your apprenticeship starts we will invite you for an interview and initial assessment here at the college to confirm eligibility and suitability. The college has a dedicated team who are on-hand to support you with finding suitable employment.

There are a number of new apprenticeship standards and frameworks designed by employers which are delivered by the college.
