Emma Murphy

Level 3 Diploma in Physical Activity, Fitness and Exercise Science 2020 School: Winsford Academy Next step: Further professional experience Ambition: Personal Trainer “I think physical fitness throughout the whole community is very important. One of my course highlights was helping to run group exercise sessions at schools and care homes. We did chair based sessions through to boot camps, keeping everything fun and achievable. This sort of experience is invaluable when you apply for jobs in the fitness industry. It shows you are serious and have the required skills.

“Although we trained in the fitness studio the course was much wider and I enjoyed our sessions on anatomy and physiology. I did my work experience at Funk Fitness in Winsford and went on to run classes and fitness inductions there, and also became an instructor at another local gym.”
