Food Blogging FM 001:

Food Blogging FM Podcast Is Live! Brought To You By: RecipeThis.com

Welcome to our first ever Podcast for food blogging FM. I would like to first explain who we are and why we have created this weekly Podcast. My name is Samantha and I first discovered the internet and a way to make money online back in 2005. Back then I was 22 had just started university and didn’t want to leave university in debt. I had a three year old and a husband and my plan was always to work for myself and I was about to start that adventure. I started off like many people did in 2005 by selling on eBay. And even back then I was selling recipes in PDF format on eBay. It was long before the Kindle and Pinterest and was a new way to make money on the internet. Then we owned various blogs while at the same time managing websites for clients. This also allowed us to move to Portugal and start a new life away from rainy Yorkshire. Over the years we have built up from scratch many food blogs and then sold them for profit. But we have never allowed anyone else to watch over our shoulder as we do it. And this is your chance to do exactly that! In other words it is like experienced internet marketers taking on the food niche rather than just being a hobby blogger that got lucky! What To Expect From The Food Blogging FM Podcasts I love Podcasts. From an internet marketing point of view they are a great way to build your traffic. Mainly because everyone is doing video because you just need a camera phone to do it. However, with a Podcast you have equipment to go out and buy, you have to learn how to use it and there is a lot of hard work that goes into it.

I also wanted to create something that was easy to follow so that you could learn the different elements of food blogging. Whether it is monetisation, traffic or just choosing a theme, you will find it all on this Podcast. The answer is the chapters that will run in each and every weekly Podcast:      

Introduction Monetising Traffic Techy Chit Chat Food Blogging Q & A Round Up

Even if you know the basics of food blogging it is a fantastic way to learn more. Learn about traffic methods you hadn’t thought about, look at monetising that you have always wanted to do but haven’t, or want to get more involved in the technical side of things.
