Jasper Hartman, Year 8 (watercolour drawing) Third Place I chose to draw a lion as it represents pride, courage, bravery and being true to who you are just like the LGBTQIA+ community’s values.
Tasman Bates, Year 8 (watercolour) Highly Commended
The Pride Society hosted an Art Competition for "Pride Month" during June. The prompt for this competition was "What does Pride mean to you?", with students from Year 7-12 encouraged to enter artworks of any medium, alongside a short blurb to explain how their artwork matched the prompt. We hope everyone has a Happy Pride Month, and feels proud of who they are. We are free to be ourselves, and respect each other equally, as is the Reddam way!
