With an already extensive portfolio of luxury hospitality venues across Newcastle, The Gainford Group has announced plans to redevelop its New Bridge Street site into a multi-purpose skyscraper.

As this latest edition of Gainford magazine was going to press, the team was busy finalising proposals for the organisation’s most ambitious and exciting project yet. Plans are well underway for a skyscraper which will form part of a new £50 million gateway into the city centre of Newcastle, at the site of the New Bridge Street hotel. The multi-use skyscraper will include a five star hotel, private residential apartments and a fitness and health club, along with a number of bars and restaurants with food from around the world. Once complete, it will be the most significant building on Newcastle’s skyline and the go-to venue for residents, shoppers, workers, diners and overnight visitors to the city. This vision from Gainford will breathe new life into the city centre of Newcastle.
