Outstanding childcare
Gainford Group’s award-winning Bright Star nurseries go above and beyond when it comes to the North East’s childcare sector. Celebrated destinations for individualised learning and quality control, the teams offer first class support for young children and their families.
When it comes to quality childcare in the North East, Bright Star Nursery is up there with the best of the best. Its two independent and personally-managed nurseries, in Chester-leStreet and Birtley, focus on learning and play that is tailored to each and every child and their individual needs. Both nurseries are well-resourced and benefit from devoted teams of early years professionals, who are highly-skilled and experienced in children’s education.
Together, they deliver an outstanding level of service to ensure every child is cared for and supported in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment, in which their development, happiness and personal progression are paramount. Ever-committed to building strong and trusted partnerships with families, staff members welcome parents and carers into the nurseries on a regular basis to listen to and discuss any concerns they may have about their child’s experience at nursery. Regular communication through parents’ evenings, consultations and parent-and-child events, not only gives families peace of mind that their child is in the best hands, it also means that parents and carers are involved in the planning of their child’s care and helps to form strong links between a child’s home life and their life at nursery. The result? Happier children who feel stable and comfortable, and who are able to thrive in their environments. In their quest to maintain excellent standards of care, both nurseries provide inspiring programmes that meet the physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs of all children. These programmes include a range of unique, age-appropriate and creative activities that encourage children's developmental, social and leadership skills to flourish. Both nurseries have also developed a consistent and rigorous monitoring and quality control system, which is accessible to parents and carers and ensures the best nursery practice at all times. The nurseries’ unwavering commitment to their practice and the children in their care has helped them achieve ‘outstanding’ status in their recent Ofsted inspections. Ofsted inspectors praised both nurseries for their knowledge and practice with special educational needs children, their partnerships with parents, their vision for the nurseries and their continued drive for excellence.
