Accolades for Gainford Group’s director Imran Khaliq picked up the Business Award at the Asian Business Connection Awards at the end of 2021. Imran was amongst a host of awe-inspiring winners who have all accomplished something amazing through dedicated hard work. This top accolade for Imran followed news that he was listed by the Asian Standard as one of the key influencers and movers and shakers of the North East business scene.

Gainford Group support to Newcastle Food Bank With many people in economically and socially deprived areas struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic, Gainford Group’s director, Imran Khaliq, took matters into his own hands in by volunteering at Newcastle Food Bank. Donating £10,000 to help fund supplies for local people in need, Gainford Group’s efforts went a long way in bringing smiles to faces during tough times. Gainford Group support Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, Gainford Group showed its support to Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter by helping to raise vital funds to provide essential care and veterinary services for thousands of animals in the North East.

Hotel offered to NHS staff battling coronavirus crisis As the outbreak of COVID-19 sent shockwaves across the world, Gainford Group stepped in to help healthcare workers in the region by offering accommodation at The New Bridge Hotel. NHS staff were invited to use the space during this critical time.

Gainford Care Homes makes it to UK’s most inspiring companies list The Gainford Group Care Homes arm was recognised as one of the most inspiring companies in the UK. Twenty five North East businesses made it onto the list, all of which showed resilience and entrepreneurship throughout a very challenging year in business.
