The Jefferson Chamber created a Business Resources for COVID-19 webpage on the Chamber’s website. Resources include a Paycheck Protection Program webinar and informational sheet, Top SBA Lenders in Louisiana, updates and blogs from local hospitals and more. The Jefferson Chamber partnered with Cox Louisiana to release a PSA in March 2020 to raise awareness that the Jefferson Chamber is here for business during unprecedented times. Jefferson Chamber Member Bag of Donuts released a music video PSA in April 2020 titled “Please Wash Your Hands” to encourage the community to maintain good health by staying home and washing your hands during the COVID-19 pandemic. Both videos can be viewed on the Jefferson Chamber’s Facebook page.

Mask Distribution
The Jefferson Chamber partnered with Cornerstone and WWLTV in May 2020 to release a commercial showcasing Cornerstone’s acrylic safety shield to innovate for a safer future as businesses began reopening and returning to the workplace.
The Jefferson Chamber acquired masks and held multiple mask distribution drive thrus making the masks available to all Jefferson Chamber members at no cost.
