Girligami
All-Occasion Greeting Cards No need to spend a fortune in a card shop when you can make your own heartfelt greeting. Take plain card stock and grace it with stylish skirts, jackets and other pretty models to make a greeting card that‘s great for special occasions or just to say hello. You will need: ✽ Card stick or pre-cut blank cards ✽ Double-sided tape ✽ Any completed Girligami model
If you are cutting your card sock you’ll also need: ✽ Scissors ✽ Craft knife ✽ Metal ruler ✽ Cutting Mat
Optional ✽ Ribbon (1/8 or 3/8 inch) ✽ Extras lite glitter glue, beads, feathers ✽ Markers or glitter pens
Put it all together: 1. Cut card stock to size, if necessary. 2. Tape your model to the front of the card. 3. If you want to go further, add some embellishments: ✽ Tape a ribbon on as an accent. ✽ Make a hanger (see page 23) and slip it onto your origami skirt or jacket. ✽ Accent with glitter glue or beads.
Then, make someone happy with your thoughtful hand-made greeting card.
