CONNEXIONS >< CONNECTIONS As part of the celebration of the Year France-Brazil, the exhibition CONNEXIONS >< CONEXÕES occupies SESC Pompeia with the intention of exploring the dialogue between the Brazilian and French contemporary graphic productions and its social application through display of posters, graphic elements and multimedia facilities. The ehxibition is curated jointly by Brazilian designer Rico Lins and french Christelle Kirschtetter, director until 2009 of the Pôle Graphique de Chaumont, France. In addition to celebrating 20 years of activities of the International Poster Festival (which happens at Chaumont - France), the exhibition offers a panoram of the new French and Brazilian graphic design, which goes beyond the poster and printed matter, establishing dialogues with digital midias, public spaces, vernacular and contemporary art. Thus, the exhibition, which does not have a linear structure, has the conceptual axis of the central themes of the Year France-Brazil: territoriality, sustainability, diversity, plurality and identity.
