Discussion: Larry extended a warm welcome to our Military visitors, and talked a bit about Rotary… what we do at the local and international levels. Introductions… a round robin of sorts, as we made our way around the tables (yes… more than one full table!) and everyone introduced themselves and talked a little about what they do, etc. What an interesting, and fun group today!
Happy $$:
Andrea (who suffered through Ben’s “initiation”) is very happy to attend the Military Appreciation Breakfast. Karen is happy to have everyone here today. Life is good! Kent – Nebraska’s coach actually locked his team out of their locker room because they played so bad! ;-) Enjoyed “Paturday”… appreciating Pat for his work in the community. Pat very happy and enjoyed his surprise “roast” on Saturday. It’s great to be appreciated and he was totally surprised! Had to break into his own house this morning to get the keys to his car! Lol Geoff – happy for Military Appreciation Day… glad so many were able to come. Corey – also happy for Military Appreciation Day. MSgt Nathan Kesler jumped in too… happy to be here today. Has been a part of Phoenix Rotary 100 for several years, and is enjoying visiting with us today. Ben joking around with MSgt Kelly Dugan (he is the most traveled of the group). Gifted him the Happy $$ pot, which he promptly added back to the hat so it can be used for future good works. Larry also happy about Saturday’s event for Pat… it was great! Extended an invitation out to all of the servicemen and women to come back and visit us any time! This concludes the minutes for today… and what a great meeting it was! Have a spectacular week everyone!
