Meeting Minutes ~ October 1, 2015 Attendance Members: Ben Eubank, Geoff Pashkowski, Larry Horton, Corey Bruggeman, Kent Hendricks, Patrick de Haan, Karen Ingersoll 7:00 AM: Meeting called to order by President Geoff. Invocation: Ben Eubank Pledge of Allegiance: Karen Ingersoll Four-way Test: #1 – Kent Hendricks, #2 – Larry Horton, #4 – Corey Bruggeman, #3 Corey Bruggeman (Corey got confused about the order of things), #5 – All “Is it fun?!”
Discussion 1. The Blunder Report… er, uh… Texas Football Report by Ben Eubank 2. We have been approached by three potential speakers. Decided the best time to get them scheduled would be two weeks after Phil Corderoy’s visit. Karen will reach out to each of them. 3. Whoops… Ben’s phone rang. And he answered. It was his grandson… who may or may not still be living after calling during the meeting. LOL! 4. Phil Corderoy’s visit discussed. He arrives on the afternoon of Monday, October 5th – around 12:30. Larry and Ben will take him to the Grand Canyon on Tuesday and later that evening, Corey and Patti Bruggeman will host a TRS/CXR dinner for him. We hope you can all come! TIME: 6:30 PM PLACE: The Bruggeman’s 4302 E. Sahuaro Drive Phoenix, AZ 85028 5. It’s Patti’s birthday today!!! Ben called her to tell her about the party, and we all sang (to her voice mail). 6. Larry said, “anomaly”. And then he said, “plethora” after Pat said, “gregarious”. Woahhh…. But wait, there’s more! Larry also said, “diction”. Perhaps even more amazing is that all of those words were used in context. Really, it’s true. 7. Andrea Mahnke is taking the Medical Equipment to Esparanca project one step further. She is traveling to Nicaragua with the team from Esparanca where all of the equipment that Ben Eubank so graciously donated will be saving lives. She needs help getting there and has launched a Go Fund Me page. Please check it out, and support her efforts if you can. Way to go Andrea… we’re so proud of you!! https://www.gofundme.com/r25c7tcs
Happy $$:
Kent is happy that the Hawkeyes won their game, but the Chiefs lost – costing him $ in the office football pool. A lady in his office hit an elk up north and munched her car. All of his guests (from nieces wedding) are gone and have arrived home safely.
Corey is happy that today is Patti’s birthday. They went to the car show in Pinetop over the weekend and there were lots and lots of cars there this time.

Karen got to spend time with her grandson… who wants to be Pizza for Halloween. Also has an opportunity to make a presentation at the office to raise toys for our Christmas projects.
Pat showed off the new banner for the Volcano Rotary Club with both our logos and the Five-way Test. Received some nice green Santa’s Helper costumes for girls… thinking of using them as part of the dress-up activity in the Santa’s Museum area. And, through a very roundabout way, is going to be the Santa for the Unique and Unusual Gift Show at the Biltmore Embassy Suites Hilton, taking over for Santa Paul Raines, who recently died. This is the same man whose place he took at the Arizona Santas Board of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas (IBRBS).
Geoff is just happy to be here this week.
Larry’s Casino Night fund raiser is coming right along… the night is October 17th! Head to the website for more information: www.4thcopscasinonight.eventbrite.com
Ben donated Phil’s liquor funds (via IOU from Larry). Happy that Dona is doing so much better!
Write your own caption!
That’s it folks… hope to see you all on Tuesday evening!
