The AS34 skid loader has the best 1 operating load in this category of machines as well as a certainly above average breakout force. Electronically-controlled turbocharged 2 Yanmar engine - tried and tested - which also manages the EGR actuator. Engine rated at 61 kW net power at 2500 3 RPM and self-protected (the engine speed decreases in case of failure). CLEAN MEANS SAFE The accurate design of the AS34 skid is not to be underestimated. As shown in the round picture on the left, a little door for cleaning with direct discharge to ground is located at the bottom of the footrest compartment.

DOOR AND AIR CONDITIONER AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Air conditioner is supplied as standard when choosing the option “cab glass panel kit”. The air conditioner condenser is mounted inside the engine compartment cover.
Radiators are cooled by a belt-driven blower fan. Fresh air is sucked far above the ground between the cab and the hinge points - and after passing through the whole engine compartment it is finally blown outside through the parallelmounted radiators in the rear of the machine. SAFETY SENSOR The sensor that is shown in the round picture on the left prevents from opening the radiators compartment when engine is on, that is when blower is running. Should that occur, the engine automatically turns off.
RADIATORS ECOLOGICAL DISCHARGES Smart tap discharge outlets for emptying out radiators atomize coolant and hydraulic oil flow, thus allowing to stop operations without soiling the ground surface.

Reliable power 16 VALVES The 4TNV98T Yanmar engine has 4 valves per cylinder, which means higher torque at low rated RPM and optimized combustion process under stress conditions.

SELF-PROTECTED It is an electronicallycontrolled engine. When sensors detect low engine oil pressure or too high coolant temperature, the ECU reduces RPM and power till the failure has completely disappeared.

61 KW NET POWER 2500 RPM This skid boasts the highest power among competitors ones which are equipped with different engine types.

HYDRAULIC OIL METAL TANK The hydraulic system has capacity of 80 liters and a 60-liter metal tank with integrated filter in the outlet. The use of a 10 µm maxi-filter (in white colour in the picture on the left) with an electronic differential pressure sensor (shown in the round picture) - which sends a warning message in the operator’s cab in case of filter clogging - is an ad hoc designed solution.

As to the AS34 model, KATO IMER has opted for tested hydraulic solutions (little electronics) suitable for the global market. Hydraulics for transmission is supplied by Bosch Rexroth, hydraulics for the equipment is supplied by Casappa. The track gauge increases when crossing tyres.

WORK LIGHTS The work lights as standard are alogen, adjustable and polyellipsoidal. Lamps power being equal, the lenticular technology allows to better direct light on the work area compared to the halogen lamps with parabolic reflector.

The KATO IMER AS34 skid has a traditional arm which becomes narrower in the front part of the machine (compactness and easier access to the cab) and which is similar to that of bigger machines. Ihimer is, however, the sole manufacturer who supplies it in this category of machines, with overall width at tyres of 1680 mm. Compactness on the front allows to have a wheel base of 1210 mm and a swing tail of 1115 mm. As a result this skid boasts an operating load at the top in its category, i.e. 1040 Kg. Connections are all flat-face (reliability) and the oil delivery is always adjustable. The internal space is the envy of its competitors and glass surface is very wide to favour visibility (low boom profile). The optional glass panels kit enhances operator’s quality of life inside the cab, since it includes air-conditioner, noise insulation, and pressurization (improved air-conditioning efficiency and protection from dust)

The internal cab dimensions speak for themselves. It is a skid but the driving comfort its cab provides is very high and finishes really deserve that name. Except for the footrest basin, the cab interior is covered with rubber of quality and the internal roof cover avoids harmful head bumps. Controls are smartly located on the two pillars.
