The reinforced front makes the truck more suitable for rugged roads and rougher applications, such as construction work and timber transports. Xiang Wenbo, the President of Sany Heavy, released in Sina Weibo in the afternoon of April 20 that Sany judicial activist in the United States wins again. 337 case, Manitowoc claimed Sany Crawler crane infringed on the ‘928 patent and the ‘158 patent held by them, and the United States International Trade Commission issued an initial determination that Sany Heavy Industry didn’t infringe on any patent. It is reported that Sany is pleased by the Judge’s favorable ruling on April 16 and get great achievements in this case. LiuGong Machinery announce during the opening ceremony of its first factory in Brazil, that it will invest R$ 120 million in the country. The plant is located in Mogi Guaçu - SP, 180 km from São Paulo. LiuGong expects to produce 1500 units per year at the new facility. The investment will last three years, reflecting the evolution of business expectations in the country. The factory will deliver the equipment in the Brazilian market, including wheel loaders and excavators. STRESS-TEST IN PANAMA The waters of Gatun Lake began flooding the new canal in Panama on the side of the Atlantic Ocean. This manoeuvre, conducted successfully on 11 June, was the first important stress-test to date of the Third Set of Locks, which is being built on the Central American isthmus by an international consortium led at the operational level by Salini Impregilo. The same test will be conducted on the other system of locks on the Pacific side at the end of the month. The opening of the valves is the first phase of the flooding of the locks to try out the Italian-built sluice gates and the electromechanical system. By the first half of

2016, they will regulate the passage of ships between the Atlantic and Pacific thanks to a synchronicity between the gates lasting less than five minutes for each one - a manoeuvre that will repeat itself 24 hours a day, 365 days a year once the project is complete. The new models BW 11 RH-5 unite traditional compaction with modern hydrostatic drive making them ideal for use in earthworks and asphalt construction, compacting stabilised soil layers, and rolling chippings on surface dressing. Unlike larger and heavier pneumatic tyred rollers these new models are articulated.
