Giving & Volunteering Site Quick Tips Tips & Tricks How to Give and Match • Go to https://hca.yourcause.com and click on Give at the top of the page • Search for your organization using the EIN or organization name - All schools and public nonprofits in the U.S. are eligible - If you can’t locate the organization you’re looking for, click Help & Support on the bottom of the page • When you find the organization, click the Organization Name • Choose Make a New Donation, or Log an Offline Donation if you’ve already made a gift directly to a charity and want to record the donation in your account • Complete the requested information, and if logging an offline donation, upload the receipt from your gift • Select Add to My Cart • A pop-up message with The gift has been added to your cart will appear • Click on Checkout Now or Apply Match and Checkout for match-eligible gifts • Select the match program you would like to use to match your gift • Select your recognition preference • Confirm your gift • Click Help & Support on the bottom of the site for any questions or to live chat for assistance
How to Volunteer • To find a volunteer event or opportunity to join, select Search Opportunities • To create a new team volunteer event that others can join, select Create Event • To log your individual volunteer service that was not part of a team project on the site, select Record Hours • Follow the prompts after making your selection • Click Help & Support on the bottom of the site for any questions or to live chat for assistance
Managing Your Account Go to https://hca.yourcause.com and click on My Account in the header to edit your profile o Record board service by selecting Board Memberships o Add your charities to your Favorites list, making them easy to find
