RNS MISSION The Rheumatology Nurses Society is a professional organization committed to the development and education of nurses to benefit its members, patients, family and community.
RNS VISION Our vision is to lead nurses to excellence in the care of patients with rheumatologic diseases.
PRESIDENT’S WELCOME Welcome to the 2022 Virtual Pacific Coast Rheumatology Forum! Thank you for joining us as we launch this year’s Rheumatology Nurses Society (RNS) educational event series. The RNS Education Committee has curated an excellent faculty lineup of leading healthcare professionals to educate you on the latest in research, treatments, and guidelines in rheumatology, as well as personal and professional development. Our accredited educational sessions will include lectures on treatments in scleroderma, understanding ANCA associated vasculitis, demystifying pulmonary function tests, learning how to differentiate various types of lupus, hearing the new GRAPPA recommendations of psoriatic disease treatment, and so much more. You will have many opportunities to network, have some fun, and win great prizes! Keep your eye on the stream for Rheumatology BINGO, our Wheel of Names giveaways, and engagement challenges. Be sure to also participate in the new Breakout Rheums where you can join in on exciting roundtable discussions. Grand prizes will be awarded at the Farewell Reception for the most educational questions asked, top exhibitor engagement, and highest overall engagement. Get ready to win! I encourage you to make the most of this online learning experience by participating in the chats during the sessions, engaging with our presenters through the live Q&A, and exploring the RNS Community Groups. Please also visit the “Attendees” page where you can connect with colleagues and friends by sending a “Connection Request” while viewing their profile. I look forward to learning alongside you as we grow in our knowledge, skills, and understanding of rheumatology to provide the best care possible for our patients. Enjoy the Forum, stay well, and I will see you online!
