RNS MISSION The Rheumatology Nurses Society is a professional organization committed to the development and education of nurses to benefit its members, patients, family and community.
RNS VISION Our vision is to lead nurses to excellence in the care of patients with rheumatologic diseases.
WELCOME FROM THE PRESIDENT Hello! Welcome to the 2021 Rheumatology Nurses Society (RNS) Virtual Fall Summit. It is a true honor and privilege to serve as your current RNS President, and I look forward to all we are approaching in the upcoming years. Over the next few days together, we will take a deep dive into the clinical faces of rheumatic diseases including lupus, ankylosing spondylitis (AS), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and more. We have brought together a great group of speakers, many of which I have the pleasure to work with on the RNS Board, who are ready to share their knowledge and experience with you! During this event, you will have many opportunities to interact with each other as well as the presenters. Please take advantage of the question and answer segments during each session, and chat with one another to network and build relationships with your fellow rheumatology healthcare professionals from across the country. I would love to hear from you during this event! Connect with me on our virtual platform by sending me a message request, and let me know your favorite session, or what topics you would love to have covered at a future event! I am here to be a support and advocate for you. Additionally, we encourage you to take time during designated exhibit hours to connect with all of our exhibitors. Our exhibitors love meeting with each of you, and have products and services we know will be beneficial to your practice. I sincerely hope that you enjoy yourself this weekend, and that you walk away from this event feeling encouraged and ready to inspire your patients! Sincerely,
Carrie Beach, BSN, RN-BC President, Rheumatology Nurses Society
