Roanoke Parks and Recreation publishes PLAY four times each year. It is available at the Parks and Rec Administration office, city libraries, Dicks Sporting Goods or at www.PlayRoanoke.com.

I suppose doing something “epic” in nature, as our latest advertising headlines read, is all relative to the individual involved. The good news is, we have a full team of recreation instructors who can lead you to your own personal epic adventure. This fall, you can join us for our Epic Wilderness hiking series, learn to build a backyard pond or even test your skills at one of our stand up paddleboard clinics.
