GET THE FACTS ON COMMERCIAL SOLAR Robert Rushford Melbourne

LOCAL solar power specialists, True Value Solar in conjunction with JH & Co Management Pty Ltd will hold a free Commercial Solar Seminar next Tuesday, July 16 at the Sebastian’s Restaurant from 6pm. The presentation is aimed at aiding local businesses across all sectors access accurate information and facts relating to the real cost of solar versus the tangible benefit to local businesses.

True Value Solar’s Rob Rushford said, “Having a solar system at home is still definitely an advantage, but you walk out the door in the morning when the sun comes out and you don’t use much electricity, so businesses get much better financial benefits over most residential properties. The proof in the pudding is that people are busting down the doors in the residential market to take advantage of solar and businesses should be doing the same thing. Businesses should be looking at solar power as a mandated purchase because the pay back period is so fast and because the cost of electricity is continuing to spiral out of control.

This is a seminar for commercial, retail and industrial businesses not just in Shepparton, but across the region. It’s an opportunity for business owners to better understand the cost of solar taking into account the depreciation benefits and tax incentives for purchasing equipment, which is unique to solar system purchases. We will have expert speakers including commercial solar power specialist, Craig Martin who has installed systems from 5kw to 300kw (which equates to between 20 and 1,200 solar panel systems). Craig will be available to talk to all attendees from small business to large commercial operations about understanding a solar strategy and how it can reduce the cost of users electricity.

“If you have any underlying questions or if you have looked into sol

ar power for your businesses in the past and it didn’t make sense to you, then this seminar is ideal for you,” Rob said. “Solar power system prices have reduced dramatically over the last few years but with the weakening Australian dollar prices now is the ideal time to better understand your options before inevitable increases.”

“In light of a recent report commissioned by Victoria’s five electricity distribution businesses, Victorian energy bills have reached a 10-year high with no signs of easing. The figures are staggering and certainly provoke a sense of action in anyone who is already considering the benefits of solar.”
