Welcome! Sp r in g Has Spru ng! April - the clocks have gone forwards, the chill seems to have finally gone from the air, we have Easter to look forward to in a couple of weeks, and even a Royal Wedding at the end of the month! It’s a cliche, I know, but where does the time go? Well, to quote Rod Nicholson: ‘Linear time and space are ideas constructed by people. Listen to a favourite piece of music...you may become so absorbed that your thoughts drop away, and you join the rhythm and flow of the melody. Your closeness to the music is so strong that linear time dissolves and you enter a very different zone...’

It’s interesting to me that so many people And it’s so true! I’m sure that all of us can recognize this experience, whether it’s associated with listening to music, reading a book, or simply gazing at a fire, the sea, still see a or a new puppy. Time really is relative. psychic This is really apparent too in the ebb and flow of a psychic reading. It’s interesting to that so many people still see a psychic reading as revealing ‘the future’! In fact, reading as me there’s no such thing - only the flow of the energies of life, and how we weave our revealing ‘the way with and through them. future’! Inner Traveller My Qu est F o r T r a n sf o r m a t i o n , Heali ng & L o ve B y Mich e lle W a lt er Hello beloved friends and clients! I have now returned after 7 months of travelling in China, Nepal and India. My journey was always going to be an inner journey - I think we all get to a point in our lives when we start to wonder: what am I doing this for? What is my life about? I certainly got to that point in my life. When I left for my travels I was quite burnt out, I had health issues to deal with, a broken relationship and to be honest I was quite depressed about my life. Travel had always been a dream and I thought, why not? Psychic work is very intense and I had been working fulltime for 15 years without a proper real break. Even though I was continually studying academically, I completed my Masters in Consciousness Studies during that time and before I left I was in the middle of three degrees!!!! Nevertheless something inside was lacking. I wasn't nourishing my soul. When I left, I didn't really know what it was that was missing, I just knew I had to make a change inside myself.

3

A thousand mile journey begins with a single step... I spent most of my time in monasteries and ashrams, meditating and soul searching. My journey started in China learning Qi Gong from Master Wan in Beijing. I expected a complete health overhaul but was soon disappointed when everyone was drinking beer at lunch and Master Wan was loving his vodka shots at nightly celebrations! I must say though that is the Taoist way, the middle way - never too extreme in any direction and the main aim is to enjoy life, live long and make song! So, naturally I joined in. I learnt some valuable Qi Gong exercises, especially from a remarkable teacher, Daisy Li, who taught Lotus Rising Qi Gong for women. Lotus Rising is about healing and let go of past hurts. Daisy is a genuine teacher and you feel at peace simply being in her presence. I was interested to find that like Gaye, Cathy, Bede and myself, Daisy had become psychic through her Qi Gong practice and she offered psychic guidance sessions along with her Qi Gong training. Kung Fu Fighting... After that I stepped it up a little and quite accidentally ended up at a Taoist School for Internal Arts in the Wudang mountains learning Tai Chi and Kung Fu from one of the most celebrated Taoist Masters in Wudang! The Wudang Mountains is the birthplace of Tai Chi. It is also where ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ and the New ‘Karate Kid’ were filmed. Absolutely beautiful and only for the serious students of Qi Gong and Chinese martial arts. Gruelling schedules beginning at 6am and

finishing at 10pm every day except Thursdays kept me applying tiger balm to my poor legs and arms every night. Yet the energy and power in the place and the practices was electric. Most of the students are Chinese and the Western students had all signed up for 3 to 5 years of training. So commitment, practice, seriousness of study was in the air. I loved it, even though it nearly killed me! It was here in Wudang that I found my body again - through pain and hard work, yet I was totally back into feeling my muscles, developing flexibility and moving again. The first step in my healing journey. Recovering my spirit in Tibet... My next stop was Tibet. By far the most beautiful country I have ever been to. Sadly, full of Chinese soldiers, yet that could not dull the bright flame that is Tibet. The beautiful palaces, the incredible scale of the Himalayan mountains that encircle the capital Lhasa, and the spiritual simplicity of the Tibetan people. Tibet will always be in my soul. Sadly my time in Tibet could only be short, partly altitude sickness (yes I did go to Everest and it is amazing!) and partly due to travel restrictions placed on foreigners in Tibet !

What sparked off my decision to travel was the deep intention to do the Buddhist Lam Rim teachings in Kopan Monastry in Nepal. The Lam Rim is the Buddha’s teachings about the path to enlightenment. The course is a month long, residential, and reputed to be difficult, life changing and incredible challenging. So of course I was hooked on the idea of going. Before entering the monastery, I got all all the distractions out of my system. I did everything in Nepal: trekking the Annapurna Mountians, white water rafting, paragliding, riding in the Chitwan National on an elephant, going through the jungle on a motorbike and of course loads of shopping! After so much activity, I was not only ready, but I was desperate for the quietness of meditation.

Buddhism for the Mind.... The schedule at Kopan began a 5am with an hour long prostrations (lying on the ground - basically great exercise but completely exhausting)... an hour meditation at 6am (usually focussed on your death... you can imagine how sobering that is!)... then breakfast (all vegetarian and eaten totally in silence) then the rest of the day was filled with teachings and one hour where we could speak freely in a discussion group... then meditation at 7pm for an hour and one hour Vajrasattva practice (more meditation really) from 9 to 10pm. For the final

two weeks we were in silence and only had one meal a day at lunchtime. Remarkably in the few hours we had off, we all raced to the hill to do yoga practice in the sun of an afternoon and Qi Gong practice of a morning time. It sounds intense and it was. The rumours were true. I found it incredibly hard! I found the teachings to be quite dogmatic, and the Buddhists believe you have to learn the dogma first before learning the higher teachings. So I found myself angry and frustrated and dying to speak! Despite my struggles, the month meditating in the monastery lay a foundation in my heart and mind for the amazing breakthroughs that were yet to come. India and cracking open my heart... At this stage in my journey, heading to India for my final 3 months. I was still quite depressed (meditating on the suffering in the universe and the karmic consequences of all my negative actions had brought me down!). I was actually considering coming home and just getting on with life, without my answers. Then I arrived at the Osho meditation resort. At first it was very strange. I saw hundreds of people in maroon robes stopping every two metres to give a deep and meaningful hug to yet another person. At first I found it rather sickening. I couldn't remember everyone's weird sanskrit names like: parambodhi, ma prem aviram etc. Being a great one for risks and throwing myself in, I decided to do one of the most intense groups they run, a week long ‘Path of Love’ course, where you spend a whole week in a room with a group of 30 other people. Participants are not allowed to speak about the process but I will tell you this: when I came out I was giving everyone deep and meaningful hugs, dancing everyday and most nights (without alcohol), and full of life. The Osho meditations I was doing two or three times a day are incredibly cleansing and I was able to release a lot negative emotions I had been carrying since my childhood. In fact, after three such groups I was feeling alive and full of bliss.

in Rajasthan. Then of course to the breathtaking Taj Mahal which is an incredibly spiritual place that is beyond words, matched only by my experiences at the Great Wall of China and the Potala Palace in Tibet. Our final stop was sailing up and down the Ganges and shopping in the vibrant and chaotic Varanasi. Returning to my island home... I am now back in Australia. I have settled into the beachside town which many of you might have heard of, called Byron Bay. I am living on the beach in the sun in my native country. My heart is joyful and my mind full of ideas, but most importantly my spirit is calm and overflowing. I feel blessed to have been able to take this time for myself and to be now living by the ocean. I have learnt a lot through my travels about myself and also I have deepened my knowledge about Buddhism, personal development, therapy and most significantly I have learnt about love and how to celebrate life. I am eager to support others using my psychic gifts and my counselling experience and also to share some of the meditations and techniques I have found useful in helping me to grow, expand and move past the challenges that were holding me back from living a happy and creative life. What I want to share with you... I look forward to connecting with my old clients again and hearing how you have changed over the time I have been away and I hope I can offer more powerful advice and deeper insight as a result of the changes I have made. Equally, I am keen to meet the new clients that have joined origin since I left in September 2010.

The Final Chapter... I did eventually tear myself away from Pune, when my sister arrived and we did a 2 week whirlwind tour of India: the backwaters of Kerala, bathing with elephants was a highlight, then off to Delhi (which I hated) and drove to Jaipur, which is a lovely romantic, fortress city

Myth Busters: Getting what I want in life will make me happy. B y Be de Ni c ho l so n While surfing the internet the other day I came across a video by a very handsome man, in a TV presenter kind of way, who claimed that he had a 5 step plan to complete and lasting happiness. To be honest, I’m relatively sceptical of any person who claims to have achieved the answers to questions that have eluded followers of most major world religions, cults, philosophies, ideologies, in ‘5 simple steps.’ Yet, I also like to think of myself as open minded and am aware that people with genuine insights can require a certain amount of creative marketing in order to get a point across in a modern world so full of competing ideas. His video ended up being some kind of offshoot or variation of the ‘Law of Attraction’ and the ‘The Secret,’ 6

A philosophy essentially based on a field of dreams notion of ‘If you dream it, they will come.’ Its appeal lies in the idea that if I focus and think about what I want enough then I will eventually get it. If I think positively about getting my brand new shiny BMW fitted with bikini clad international model then it will come. If it doesn’t, you haven’t been thinking positively enough about it. Surely, following that logic, every teenage boy should have an army of Victoria’s Secret models locked away in their bedroom. I’m sure there is a hell lot of positive thinking that teenage boys could accumulate in that area.

Don’t get me wrong, I am a big fan of positive thinking. To me, it's pretty much common sense that if you have a positive outlook on life then it's much more likely that positive things will happen. Conversely, if I sit in my room all day and night listening to the Smiths and the Cure thinking about how terrible my life is, then it's unlikely that I will get a lot out of life. What I am not a big fan of however is a philosophy that equates 'getting what I want' with happiness. Any

philosophy that promotes the idea that getting ‘what I want’ will make me happy has really missed the mark. Yet, its this very form of thinking that has taken root in our modern culture. You can hardly blame anyone for it. We are constantly bombarded with advertisements of semi-orgasmic looking people getting what they want – whether that be a block of chocolate or the latest thigh blaster machine.

In my experience, and probably your own experience of life, we often find that once we get want we want, we simply want something else. We buy our Thigh Blaster, then we want the Ab Cruncher (all of which probably ends up in the closet after 1 week anyway). We loose the ten kilos of fat that was making us miserable, but then we want to get rid of the wrinkles under our eyes. You married the man of your dreams, but now you feel he doesn’t pay you enough attention any more. The list goes on and on. Yet, for some reason we continue to strive and struggle. We never seem to reach ‘happy land’ because there is always something else that we believe we need before we get there. I’m not a Buddhist per se, but I think Buddha had it pretty right when he said ‘Desire is the cause of suffering.’ In essence what he was saying is the belief that ‘getting what you want will make you happy’ is actually what makes you unhappy, because in the end your desire, by its nature, never stops . Life becomes like a never ending box of Pringles. Just one more and I will feel Seeing things how they are – for good full, but having one more just makes you want another. To or bad – not constantly struggling to find real happiness we have to look at why we feel empty in the first place. Why are we constantly trying to fill ourselves change them to the way we want them to up on an emotional level? Is this just the way we are, our be. When we let go of wanting, we can intrinsic condition, or is it possible to let go of our desires, accept and enjoy the pleasures of life but and live life in the here and now of existence? Whatever the answer to that question may be, our first step to discovering genuine happiness is recognizing what it is not. Lasting happiness is not the fleeting satisfaction from getting what you want. In fact the more we focus on getting this satisfaction the unhappier we become. For me, the obvious conclusion from this is that real happiness comes from living and accepting the here and now – learning to be a genuine person of the moment.

we are also happy to let them go. The less we hold on to what we want, the more we are able to appreciate and enjoy life as it is.

Are you obsessed? Ap r i l ’ s Pe rson a l D e v e l o pmen t F e a t ur e . ..

Obsession is such an ugly word, bandied about all too easily in our society. In reality, it’s very easy to cross the line from intense attraction to obsession, and it’s nothing to feel embarrassed about...

While we often associate obsessive love with a ‘bunny boiling’ jilted woman or some other form of deluded one-sided affair, in reality obsession and what makes us obsessed is far more complex. There are very few of us who have not experienced the pain of rejection or unrequited love. It can feel almost like a physical wound that throbs in our mind. Sometimes the pain is acute, and at other times more dull, but it is always there, a feeling almost impossible to ignore. In many ways this experience is part of a natural healing process. Our body and mind is urging us to deal with unresolved thoughts and feelings, and to learn and build from our experience. Obsession comes into the equation when this healing process stalls. For whatever reason we don’t want to learn our lesson, perhaps because it is too painful or perhaps because it doesn’t conform to our beliefs and expectations about how things were meant to happen.

How do I know if I am obsessed? The first thing to remember is that being obsessed is not something to be ashamed or embarrassed about. Everyone gets obsessed – the question is how we face and deal with our obsessions in a way that allows us to grow. It is also important to remember that being obsessed about a relationship doesn’t mean that the feelings are not real or that you are deluded. In fact, the problem with obsession is when we confuse our real feelings or ‘love’ with a pattern of focusing on another person that is habitual, out of control and destructive. So, how do you know you are obsessed? When you are unable to manage feelings and thoughts about another person, to the extent that it begins to feel more like an addiction than a choice. In simple terms, love liberates you, obsession enslaves you. In my experience, obsession arises from an illusory perspective of romantic love. When we experience and believe love to be a romantic ‘high’ - that amazing feeling of spark and chemistry, the feeling of being totally connected to just one

There is no single way out of obsession. ‘The line between love and obsession is drawn only by circumstance’. Tangled up in a heartfelt story. B y Dr J on a t ha n You ng Reflecting on a movie can sometimes be good therapy. In Disney’s Tangled, we get a variant of the Rapunzel story that reveals our deepest yearnings. The film explores big personal issues, like finding meaning and connection. Much of the wisdom comes from the source material. Timeless fairytales survive precisely because they explore universal issues. Leaving home is a giant event in every life. Finding a true identity may require heroic stamina. At an advance screening, I asked why they dropped certain original details. In the fairytale, the father betrays his daughter to save himself, and Rapunzel’s suitor is blinded later in the story. Co-director Nathan Greno thought such dark elements would be too intense for a general audience. The final script emphasizes the resourceful independence of the heroine. Some of the changes actually added depth to the story. Fully half the script is now about Flynn Rider, a dashing rogue of a thief who grew

up in an orphanage. Anyone would want to identify with him. Surely, we all have orphan feelings down inside somewhere. Also, we’re all thieves, in the sense of stealing attention away from expected activities. If we are to serve our destinies, we must claim the inner bandit. Without a bit of rebellion, we won’t come into our full potential. As the title Tangled suggests, our own stories can get twisted and knotted. The princess has long golden hair with healing powers. A crone kidnaps her as an infant to exploit the youth-restoring magic that radiates from the hair when Rapunzel sings. The complicated mother-daughter scenes mirror familiar difficult relationships between generations. They also could represent the struggle within between old attitudes and daring new ideas.

beyond the safety of home. Her wanderlust is stirred by the spectacle of distant airborne lanterns that appear each year on her birthday. Rapunzel wants to see the lights up close and learn what they are. She could represent a seeker on the journey to illumination. Many people are content to stay close to the familiar, but explorer types need to investigate the mysteries.

The tower is a nice home in a hidden glade. The girl has a comfortable life there, with time for art and reading. The woman she calls mother is rather passiveaggressive but does dote on her. Still, our heroine yearns to go

Rapunzel’s moments of difficult transition are familiar to anyone who has survived adolescence. She has mixed feelings about leaving the familiar limits of mother and tower. Her insecurities reflect our own ambivalence about claiming larger

possibilities. The subsequent adventure represents a process of discovery. The film even has an underwater scene that suggests a night-sea journey through our deepest fears. It turns out those lanterns are sent aloft by her parents as an annual ceremony of remembering her. The whole country launches the floating lights in the hope she is alive and will see them. This suggests home is longing for us as much as we yearn to find it. The place of belonging may be a faint memory, but it calls. The imagery suggests a transcendent sense of purpose. The symbolism could imply a destiny that is reaching toward us, hoping to be noticed. I know this is grand language for a family movie, but the wisdom of folklore does carry such large notions. Deep messages lurk in old stories whether filmmakers intend them or not.

Jonathan Young, Ph.D. -- storyteller and psychologist -- assisted Joseph Campbell at seminars and was the founding curator of the Joseph Campbell Archives in Santa Barbara. His books and articles focus on personal mythology. His recent writing can be found at www.folkstory.com Each member of the audience will likely see their own movie. Some will identify with a person needing to discover the world. Others may focus on the healing potentials of the magical hair. Some will feel a rising sense of rebellion yet to find a voice. My guess is that everyone will feel elation about the sky full of glowing lights. Tangled is example of a popular movie that manages to be astute about our journeys. We will be more than entertained if we pay attention to the mythic images, and what they show us about the inner life.

April Tarot J us tic e Oh what a beautiful energy there is singing through the Justice card. She brings a message of integrity, and often, a challenge to find that deepest integrity within ourselves. When we are really able to come from that deepest, and most personally honest place, then we really are in harmony, and the flow of our life can’t help but improve. There is often also a vibration of patience in the Justice archetype – harmony sometimes does take a little longer than we’d like, in order to re-establish itself. But it always does in the end. And when we communicate and interact with others and the world around us from that place of integrity, then things have a way of unfolding which is very beautiful. I think the most powerful message of the Justice card though is the promise of inner peace which comes with acting in line with her. She can be a tough task master, but she also promises a rich reward for staying true to what she demands. And from that peaceful space, a very persistent and powerful vibration arises – the vibration of real truth is so pure that it can’t but have an impact on

those around us. It’s far more difficult for others to stay out of sync with their own inner truth, if even one person holds true to that inner integrity.

Be your own psychic! Rune stones are ancient symbols, carved into stone or wood, which are used to channel energies and reveal our true destiny path. They are incredibly earthy, and allow us to connect with a deep flow of archetypal language - something we feel deep within us, rather than simply having an intellectual understanding. Kenaz, or ‘Open’ is a symbol of fire, creativity and passion. When it comes to relationships, you can see that this rune is one which would often appear! Relationships are so exciting because they open us up to a whole new world. Sometimes you can be so open that you become engulfed by someone else’s world and lose centredness in your own. The paradox here is that the answer to this predicament is to open up and reveal who you really are - in your heart of hearts - your deepest spirit!

Think of a torch of understanding being lit between two people - this is the deeper message of the Rune of Openness. This stone also has a message to open a part of ourselves, to open to the deepest part of our identity - our cosmic identity. It is from here that we can draw forth the initiative and hopefulness to handle any situation we may find ourselves in in our life.

And when we access that kind of fire, then anything is possible! This rune reminds us that life is always an open-ended circle, and that new life always springs up through the process of transformation that fire brings.

Managing Director & Founder, Rod Nicholson, explains what it really means to ‘retreat’... www.origincentre.com

What does it mean to go on retreat?

and renew.

We all have times when we wish we could get away from everything. Times when life seems to be overwhelming us with its demands. We wish we could have a time of quiet and peace to sort things out within ourselves. We all need a place of retreat, a haven, a place of peace and solitude that we can go to for a period of time and gather our energies, our thoughts and our inner world together.

A retreat is an essential component in the life of every person who is wishing to be intelligent and creative. A retreat is not something you do as a spiritual thing it is integral to living a positive and meaningful life. It is necessary for everyone wherever they are at and whatever they face.

This need for retreat and refuge is a very natural process in our life. When you look out of the window here at the Educere retreat centre you overlook the beautiful Loch Snizort and you can see the ebb and flow of the tides. The tides cannot be in all the time or out all the time. There is a rhythmic ebb and flow. So with us we cannot be on the go continuously. Life needs to flow inward as well as outward. Our times of recollection and inward reflection need to be natural and rhythmic just like the inward flow of the sea. If we are constantly doing the we end up exhausted and empty. We need to retreat, recollect, regenerate

Retreat time should be part of each person’s day if they wish to keep balance, peace and energy in their life. Is it time for you to let the tide flow inward, to stop, to consider and to meditate? Is there a place of peace that you need to find within yourself? Listen to that inner voice and step on the path of real personal growth.

If you would like to find out more about coming to Skye for a retreat at the Origin Educere Centre, phone (44) 1470 532 456 or email cathy@originlife.com 13

Your Monthly Horoscopes HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARIES! April is your month Aries, and that ought to make you feel happy and comfortable. In most areas of your life, this will be a period of renewed energy and drive, creating for you the desire to excel in all that you do. There will be five planets in the sign of Aries this month! No wonder there’s all that extra energy, to jump out and grasp hold of all the experiences life has to offer. Three of the outer planets, (Mars, Saturn & Pluto) will be in sharp aspect to all that Aries energy, and this could create a few frustrations for you when you want to get Kiera Knightley - Celebrity Aries things started. Don’t let this phase you Aries - you just need to face any insecurities you may have about your ability to do the necessary footwork and planning required. That’s what Saturn expects from you, planning, planning & completion. So basically the key for you this April, is for you to combine all that beautiful, fiery Aries energy, and channel it in a focused manner. Make a few lists, and follow through on them, one by one, if you can manage it! Love Note: This is the time for you to take a bit more of an emotional risk than usual Aries. Be open and receptive, rather than taking the lead.

Taurus Taurus people ought to have a much easier month in April, in terms of completing your projects. You may not have the fire energy of some signs, but you will definitely have the ‘stick-to-it’ attitude that is required this month. There will be help coming from Pluto which is presently in Capricorn - this will create the positive energy that you need to move things forward. “Slow and steady, wins the race” for you this month Taurus. You know the fine art of building your house, “brick by brick” - know this is your real strength and you’ll achieve much this month. Love Note: April is offering you a lovely feeling of security - realize how attractive your stability is. Ironically, this will help

you take a timely risk with someone you care about!

Gemini What fun - spring is here, and Geminis are ready! In fact, you’ve been ready for months, haven’t you Gemini! You’re possessed with the innate ability to just jump in there and get things started. And you’ll have fun doing it this month too. Throughout April, you’ll have the ability to take on anything that may cross your path. You’ll also find you can complete much before the end of the month not such a Gemini gift usually. Thanks to Saturn in Libra, you’ll have that extra help you need to complete what you start. Love Note: Don’t give up on someone you love Gemini - have some persistent faith in yourself, as well as in them.

Cancer You could have a few diverse challenges during April Cancer. You may well feel as though everything and anything that you try to get going is being blocked. You’re not really going in circles, even though it might feel like that at times during the month. Several of the transiting planets are in sharp aspect to Cancer, and you just need to relax I’m afraid, and flow with it as best you can. The key here is to call upon all the patience you can muster. At times it will feel like the entire world is against you. Try journaling about all that is frustrating you, so as to not block yourself even more. Love Note: Patience with yourself and with those you love is really needed this month Cancer. You’re not governed by the Moon for nothing!

14

Leo You’re in for a great month in April Leo!The astrological gods of those transiting planets will be offering you tremendous help, especially Pluto, Uranus & Saturn. Pluto will give you the ability to start and create changes. Uranus will help you to act on your desires quickly, and Saturn will keep you on track, and within healthy bounds. The key for Leos this month is to not try to do too much too soon. You’ll feel as if you’re on “top of the world”. A word to the wise, take one step at a time! Love Note: You’re in for lots of fun in your love life this month Leo just try to remember not to overwhelm the object of your affection!

Virgo Virgos will be experiencing your own unique form of change this month. Pluto will be bringing up thoughts and emotions from your past, and although you may not want to readily deal with all these feelings, now is actually the best time for you to do so. Some real quality time alone would be perfect for you this month Virgo, if you can manage to pull yourself away from everything. You’ll use work, and all the people you must help as an excuse to not deal with yourself, if you can. I suggest, see if you can spend just one “guilt-free” day alone during April! Love Note: You might find yourself feeling a little more emotional than usual this month Virgo. Flow with it if you can, and your relationships will be strong for your efforts!

Libra Libra’s three most important words are balance, balance, and balance. Sadly, you might start April feeling exactly the opposite. I can’t say that I blame you - you’re being met with many planetary challenges. Pluto, Saturn & Uranus are in sharp aspect to you just now. Try to resist the desire to go and hide your head in the sand Libra. In fact, you have deep reserves you can access this month, and it will be worth the effort. By month’s end, by accepting where things are at, you’ll find a deep sense of peacefulness as these aspects pass in the next few weeks. Love Note: Draw on your famous patience this month Libra, and give yourself and your lover a little space! You’ll have much more to share as a result. Scorpio You’re probably very aware Scorpio that this is a time for change for you. You might not be so certain though about how you’re going to bring this about, or put your plans into action. This is exactly what April is about for you! Organization, planning and follow through - all skills you know you have in plenty. The last few months you seem to have forgotten this a little Scorpio. If April brings a bit of a “rude-awakening” in the form of a few frustrations, do your best to relax. My suggestion is, reacquaint yourself with that unique strength and knowledge that only you possess. Love Note: There’s some

building to do in your relationship life this month Scorpio. Don’t fight it. Things will flow more easily towards the end of the month.

Sagittarius Hey Sagittarius April is shaping up to be a great month for you. You can and will take on any and all challenges that have been confronting you recently. The planets are offering you additional power, strength and the energy that is required of you. You’re really in your element throughout April. It’s not all challenges either - there’s lots of fun around too! Love Note: No holding back this month Saggie! Take some risks, say what you feel right out loud, and you’ll see things moving forwards as you’ve wanted them to for a while now. Capricorn You could well be met with the feeling that you don’t want to act on situations quickly just now Capricorn. At least, not as fast as you feel the Universe is pushing you to do so. And your natural inclination will be to resist. The phrase “go with the flow”, needs to be your mantra this month Capricorn. Focus on relaxing desire for control for a time this month. You might not like to hear it, but you need to draw some patience from your soul this April. Love Note: No holding back this month Saggie! Take some risks, say what you feel right out loud, and you’ll see things moving forwards as you’ve wanted them to for a while now. 15

Aquarius Aquarius, you will be on a different timetable this month then you are used to. You like to do things your way, and to know what’s going on everywhere around you. You like to be in control of yourself, in whatever situation you are in. Unfortunately, April might not be going quite as you had expected or hoped for. You may be forced to approach things with a “change of attitude” this month. Nobody likes to feel like they’re a little bit ‘out of control’, but you’ll feel quite refreshed for the unexpected events this month Aquarius! Love Note: Resist the temptation to try to manage everything in your love life this month Aquarius. Your lover will push you to flow with things

this month, and you’ll be glad that they did by the time May comes around.

Pisces You may start the month feeling a little more tired than you are used to Pisces. The universe is trying to tell you to slow down a little, and take a bit better care of yourself. Some practical measures like some physical activity could help. But more importantly, be with people! This is not the month to try to force big changes in your life. Take care of yourself first , and the rest will follow before long . Love Note: The big message for Pisces people for April is to flow with things as best you can. Use your intuition to help you flow with the currents of your relationships, and you’ll find it’s a very satisfying month for you.
