RONNIE’S RAMBLINGS
I
By Ronnie Wilson
may lose the battle of the thermostat this year. As many of you may know, each fall my goal is to not engage my heating system prior to the first of November. This year has been a challenge already. Last Friday when I checked the thermostat, the temperature was a “balmy” 57 degrees. It did not feel too badly, until I took my shower. Stepping out of the nice warm, humid, relaxing shower into a room that may have been ever so slightly warmer than 57 degrees was “invigorating” to say the least, not to mention the cold floor. I managed to finish my morning routine without any significant deleterious effects. It certainly was nice to get into my sweater and sweat pants to be-

I am very disappointed, I did not even make it much past the middle of October, which is not close to the first of November - maybe next year. (BTW - having the thermostat set to 65 degrees is much more comfortable. I am disappointed
I did not make it to the end of October, but it is very cozy in my house/office now. Last week was a bit disappointing. All of the local teams were eliminated from their respective post season tournament series, with the exception
