The News on the Court

On April 19 – 23, 2023, two of our members, Guillermo Cosson and Eoin Collins, along with our Head Tennis Pro, Eric Kruseman, participated in a USTA LEVEL 2 NATIONAL tournament in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The tournament, called the Harry V. Barton Bocage Clay Court Championships, is a prestigious event which brings out many of the top players in the country. Royal Oaks was very well represented in this event, due to the following results:

• Guillermo Cosson won both the singles and doubles events in the men’s 45’s.

• Eoin Collins won the singles event in the men’s 55’s.

• Eric Kruseman won the singles event and lost in the finals of the doubles in the men’s 60’s.

I have officially worked at ROCC for three months, and it has been a blast! I have loved spending time with you all, especially at our Family Bingo Nights and Family Fun Nights!
