Objective:

To share the commitments of the Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa through a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy.

Context:

Corporate Social Responsibility involves integrating social, environmental, and economic issues into the strategy and operations of a business. In the case of the Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa, this translates into actions aimed at minimizing the hotel's environmental impact, promoting local employment, and improving working conditions for employees.

This Ethics and CSR Policy aims to help you understand what is expected of an employee of the Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa, at all levels of the company, without exception, by setting fundamental principles.

Commitment:

The Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa is committed to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach, convinced that this approach is essential to ensure the sustainability of our activities and make a positive contribution to society and the environment. As a business, we have a responsibility to act responsibly towards our employees, customers, business partners, local communities, and the planet. That is why we have developed this CSR policy, which aims to define the principles and commitments we have made to conduct our activities in an ethical and responsible manner.

We are committed to respecting the dignity and rights of every person, in all our professional relationships with our employees, partners, and customers, starting from the hiring process. No form of discrimination based on gender, national or ethnic origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or family status, disability or illness, religious beliefs, political or philosophical opinions, or any other personal characteristic is tolerated. If you feel discriminated against in any way, you are encouraged to report it to the Human Resources department.

2. Respect for trade rules:

Respect for trade rules is essential for maintaining fairness and transparency in markets, preserving consumer trust, promoting fair competition, and contributing to sustainable economic development by communicating clearly with our customers and business partners. We are committed to complying with applicable trade laws and regulations, including laws on corruption, competition, unfair trade practices, advertising, consumer protection, intellectual property, and ethical standards.

3. Respect for property and data:

We are committed to protecting the property and data entrusted to us by our employees, customers, business partners, and our company, such as equipment, buildings, vehicles, raw materials, finished products, as well as confidential information, personal data, trade secrets, and intellectual property. We are committed to implementing appropriate security measures to protect their property and data, such as access controls, surveillance systems, regular backups, and risk management policies. We also commit to ensuring that the use of customer personal data, as well as our practices for collecting, storing, and processing such data, comply with applicable laws and regulations, such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Finally, our employees must be aware of the importance of protecting the company's property and data, as well as the risks associated with their misuse or disclosure.

4. Respect for our partners:

We are committed to respecting our business partners by ensuring that our business relationships are based on trust, mutual respect, and fairness. Additionally, we are committed to working with suppliers who adhere to the same ethical and social standards that we apply to our own establishment. We regularly monitor our supply chains to ensure that our suppliers do not engage in forced labor, child labor, or discrimination.

Reducing our water and energy consumption, and thus reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. Implementing sustainable business practices. Responsibly managing our waste, including recycling initiatives. Using environmentally friendly cleaning products. Informing and encouraging our customers to participate in environmental preservation by offering them ecological alternatives.

8. Respect for local communities:

We are committed to respecting local communities by ensuring that our business activities have a positive impact on the local economy, culture and traditions, the preservation of local cultural and historical sites, as well as the well-being of society in general.

Shared commitment: We believe that implementing this CSR charter will be beneficial for our company, our staff, our clients, our business partners, local communities, and the environment. These principles aim to promote honest and exemplary professional behavior in all circumstances. As ethics is everyone's concern, the objectives of this Ethics and CSR Charter can only be achieved through the commitment, reflection, and sense of responsibility of each individual. The guidelines contained in this Ethics and CSR Charter are not optional.
