Over the past 50 years, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and the Colorado Springs community have worked together to create one of the most innovative and fastestgrowing University of Colorado campuses, meeting the needs of Colorado's second-largest metropolitan area and beyond. We have come so far from our initial university program offerings of engineering and business; today UCCS offers 37 bachelor's, 19 master's, and five doctoral degrees in six colleges and schools. I can hardly believe as of fall 2014 we have over 11,000 students enrolled on campus. I am gratified by the diverse

student population that we serve and graduate and am especially proud of the number of first generation students whose college graduation changes not only their lives but the lives of future generations. As we look back on our shared accomplishments, we move forward with excitement about what the

Volume 7, Issue 7 A few upcoming dates to put on your calendar:

Tournaments Throughout the semester, students were given the opportunity to compete in tournaments by themselves and in teams. All of the students improved throughout the semester in these tournaments and through these tournaments great friendships were created. Through cold foggy weather to perfect sunny Colorado day weather, students competed in tournaments at Four Mile Ranch Golf Club, Pine Creek Golf Club, Eisenhower Golf Course (blue course), Shining Mountain Golf Club, Silver Spruce Golf Course, Perry Park Country Club, Plum Creek Golf Club, and The Ridge at Castle Pines. All of these tournaments and golf courses proved to push every competitor to hit creative shots and sink crucial putts and have fun playing the game they love.

APRIL 22-23nd UCCS/ PGA Golf Management Family and Friends Golf Tournament will be held at The Club at Flying Horse (April 23rd) and an awards dinner will be held the night before (April 22) at the Warehouse Restaurant May 13th UCCS Commencement
