Dear Brothers, It’s an honour to introduce myself as the new editor of Legacy and to present this special issue, themed around the recently concluded World Meet 2024. Set against the historic and vibrant backdrop of Maastricht, Netherlands, this global gathering was a beautiful celebration of cultures, friendships, and the enduring unity that defines our community.

For many of us, World Meet 2024 was more than just an event; it was an experience—a tapestry woven from laughter, discovery, and the shared energy of like-minded individuals coming together from around the world. Through this issue, I hope to take you back to those unforgettable days, letting you relive the camaraderie, the thrill of exploring different cultures, and the lasting memories that we all created.

In these pages, you will find stories of connection and inspiration, accounts of cultural exploration, and snapshots that reflect the warmth and vibrancy of the global Round Table family. Whether you were part of the event or are experiencing it through this magazine, I hope each story brings the spirit of World Meet 2024 alive for you.

As we leaf through these moments, let us remember that each encounter, each story shared, and each laugh we enjoyed together contributes to a legacy that stretches far beyond a single gathering. This is more than a recollection - it is a testament to the friendships and connections that continue to shape and strengthen us. And, as the pages turn, may they inspire us to carry forward the essence of World Meet 2024 in our lives, igniting curiosity, kindness, and unity in our own communities.

Here’s to the memories we made, the bonds we forged, and the legacy we continue to build.

Warm regards,

Legacy Editor 2024 - 2025

A word from the organising team

We would like to thank everyone who travelled to Maastricht for your visit. Together with you, we were able to make it a truly iconic party and a party that will go down in history as the largest RTI event to date.

We hope that many new friendships were made and that we made a large group enthusiastic about the world of international Tabling.

On behalf of the convening team, thank you again and see you somewhere in the wonderful world of Tabling.

Welcome Night - 350 Participants

Prior to this evening, the pre-tour started on Saturday, during which the participants visited 4 different countries in 5 days, including several local clubs.

On Wednesday evening was the moment that the organization had been looking forward to (after 2 years of preparation). The welcome night, an evening that was all about seeing old friends again and meeting new friends. And it was hosted in one of the most beautiful locations in Maastricht. Even though this evening had already been upgraded in terms of format during ticket sales, it turned out that the tickets for this evening were in high demand. All 350 tickets were quickly sold out and a second location was opened for all guests who unfortunately had not managed to get a ticket for Wednesday evening.

With a short speech and three popping corks, this World Meeting was officially opened, after which a beautiful evening followed. That was followed by a long night in the center of Maastricht.

Thursday - 1000 Participants

Thursday morning started early for all delegates with the beginning of the councillors' meeting in yet another special location. The two enthusiastic sergeants probably didn’t make the meeting any easier for the delegates, but they did manage to raise a significant amount of money for charity.

On this day, the first day of tours began, offering a variety of options to discover Maastricht, including a wine tour, a city tour, a boat trip, and a chocolate workshop.

This was also the day when most of the new guests arrived in sunny Maastricht, all eager to participate in the theme party on Thursday evening—a celebration dedicated to Carnival! It was fantastic to see that almost everyone had followed the advice to bring a great costume. From flamingos and nuns to dinosaurs, the hall was filled with the most extraordinary outfits.

Of course, no Carnival party is complete without a parade! Delegates were invited to join a lively musical parade that culminated in the party hall. The evening was filled with a mix of music styles, delicious food, tasty snacks, and a party atmosphere that had everyone in the room swaying from left to right!

Friday - 1500 Participants

Friday was the day of the official AGM, held in a packed meeting venue. The meeting was briefly interrupted to present a Limburg pie to the International Board. This pie, baked by a local bakery in the shape of the rondel, measured more than 1.3 meters in diameter.

While the meeting was in progress, the day tours started, but the location of the Nations Night was also being set up. The outdoor area of this location was transformed into a large market square where all kinds of delicacies were offered. Also made possible by the good late summer weather, an unforgettable Nations Night followed in which more than 1500 people participated. The evening was followed by the Dutchparty in the two adjacent party rooms. Several DJs (all Tablers) were supported by dancers, lasers and CO2 to build an iconic party that went on until 2 am.

Saturday 1300 Participants

For many, the start of Saturday morning will have been a bit heavy, especially for the delegates who were expected at 9:30 for the regional meetings. These meetings were all well attended and ensured full rooms.

Fortunately for the participants, most meetings were short and concise, so that everyone could fill the afternoon as they wished. This, partly made possible by the sunny weather, created a magnificent scene in the city. A group of Tablers could be found on almost every terrace.

At the end of the afternoon, it was time to get the gala clothes out of the closet or suitcase. The gala evening was waiting at the location of the Chateau st. Gerlach. With a glass of bubbles as a welcome, the group was prepared for the mega group photo in front of the chateau, after which everyone could find a place for the gala. At 7:00 p.m. sharp, the host of the evening kicked off the official program and the first course was served. An enchanting environment and 1300 guests in a good mood made for an unforgettable evening. An evening and night that ended for many in the city centre of Maastricht.

PRESIDENT 2023-24 MARC GERMESHAUSEN

Reflecting on a Year of Fellowship and Growth

DEAR FELLOW TABLERS

As I reflect on my year as RTI President, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we've shared. The recent RTI World Meeting in Maastricht brought it all full circle, where over 1,600 brothers and sisters from 40+ countries united in celebration. The energy and camaraderie reminded me again of the power and purpose of our movement, and I am truly humbled by the connections and experiences I have gained.

Our theme for the year, United in Diversity, has been more than just a motto. It embodied our entire approach to Tabling this year. From visiting 25 associations across five continents to witnessing the incredible service projects our members have spearheaded, I’ve seen firsthand the power of our unity. Despite our different cultures, professions, and languages, we came together under one banner. This diversity has strengthened our movement and allowed us to make an even greater impact on our communities worldwide.

ACHIE VEMENTS THAT MATTER

Reflecting on our progress, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. One of my key focuses during my tenure was ensuring long-term growth through consistency and continuity. I believe that real, lasting change in an organization like ours requires a multi-year strategy, and I am pleased to share that we have laid the groundwork for just that. Together with our leadership team, including our new President, Daniele Cusi, we developed a three-year plan to ensure sustained growth and impact for Round Table.

I encourage every association and club to adopt a similar approach. By thinking long-term, we can create meaningful change that lasts beyond a single term. If you need support in developing your vision, my team and I are more than happy to assist.

A huge part of this effort also came through empowering our members. Our initiatives such as Check-in Tuesdays and Tabler for Tabler were born from a desire to support our brothers beyond service, promoting mental health awareness and fostering connections that extend beyond the table.

AWARDING EXCELLENCE AT RTIWM MAASTRICHT

The RTI World Meeting in Maastricht wasn’t just about reflecting on the past—it was also about recognizing the outstanding efforts of our members and associations. I am thrilled to share the accomplishments of this year’s award winners, whose dedication has inspired us all:

Pink Bunny Award:

Honoring extensive travels and connections with Tablers worldwide, this year’s Pink Bunny Award goes to Matthias Kuchem from RT Germany.

Mission 2X Award:

Recognizing exceptional membership growth and the drive to expand Round Table’s global impact, the Mission 2X Award was awarded to RT Malta for their impressive efforts.

Side by Side Award:

Celebrating collaboration with our extended family, RT Sri Lanka was awarded the Side by Side Award for their exemplary work with 41 Club, Tangent, and Ladies Circle.

Magazine of the Year:

France’s Autour Des Tables earned Magazine of the Year for its outstanding digital and print editions that elevated Round Table's global visibility.

Social Media

Award:

RT Belgium took home the Social Media Award for their dynamic, engaging social media presence, helping to drive recruitment and amplify Round Table’s message.

Club of the Year:

Located in a rural community, RT 7 Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe was honored as Club of the Yearfor their life-saving initiatives and dedication to service, including anti-venom provision and fundraising for those in need.

Service Project of the Year:

The Service Project of the Year went to RT Austria for their Service 90/10 project, which highlighted how strong currency regions can support essential needs in weaker currency areas, impacting clean water, education, and healthcare.

Association of the Year:

RT Iceland was celebrated as Association of the Year for its remarkable membership growth, active international participation, and unwavering dedication to charity and service.

These awards represent the best of who we are—our spirit of service, fellowship, and innovation. They show that when we come together as one, we can achieve extraordinary things.

In addition to our achievements in service, we also made great strides in enhancing the efficiency of our administrative processes. We are in the process of successfully moving from Mauritius to Luxembourg, which will bring more stability and ease to our future operations. Moreover, RT Cares is now registered in Luxembourg and is on its way to becoming fully operational, enabling us to amplify our humanitarian impact.

As we turn our attention to the future, the establishment of our Foundation will play a vital role in supporting our service projects. By providing a structured approach to funding and resource allocation, the Foundation will empower us to take on even more ambitious and impactful initiatives.

A Foundation for Growth Passing the Torch

As I pass the leadership to Daniele Cusi, I do so with confidence and optimism. The foundation has been laid, and I know Daniele will continue to drive our movement forward, building on the work we’ve done this year. His vision and commitment to Round Table are unwavering, and I am excited to see what the future holds under his leadership.

To my fellow Tablers, thank you. Your dedication, passion, and support have made this year truly unforgettable. Together, we have made a lasting impact, and together, we will continue to push the boundaries of what we can achieve. Let us continue to strengthen our bonds, empower each other, and carry forward the spirit of United in Diversity.

Yours in international Tabling,

RT International Marc Germeshausen

Immediate Past President 2024-25

Before starting our journey together, I really want to say thanks to the convening team of the WM 2024 for the amazing job they did on hosting 1600 people during that amazing event. This really shows the importance of being a team working together for the same goal!

The upcoming year marks the beginning of significant change for our association. It’s time to reconnect with the grassroots, to demonstrate that Round Table International is not distant from its members. It’s time to show that I am just a Tabler like any other—with a few more responsibilities but with the same curiosity and enthusiasm as a newly inducted member.

Our goal will be growth—not just in numbers, but in personal development. Growth as men, as professionals, and as Tablers. I want each of you, 20 years from now, to look back at your Tabling experience and see the transformation: the boy you were before joining RT, the Tabler you became as part of our association, and the man you are today.

As you’ve all seen, the logo of the year is a combined, side-by-side design featuring myself and my sister Lisha, President of Ladies Circle International (LCI). This is a significant step in highlighting the importance of unity as one family—the value of working together with our sisters in Ladies Circle to create a greater impact in our local communities, support one another’s growth, and foster personal development. You cannot imagine the countless hours Lisha and I spent brainstorming the “right” theme for the year. We needed a theme that would represent two sides of the same coin—two associations encapsulated in a single, simple phrase. Despite our differences—two unique individuals, from distinct cultures, a man and a woman who met just last year—we forged a bond that will last a lifetime.

Me: Mr. Pizza & Pasta, a man who has dedicated his life to the incredible sport of American Football. And Lisha: a woman, a wife, a mother, who, like every lady, still dreams. Together, we found the perfect motto to represent us both: a man and a woman, Round Table and Ladies Circle, a Player and a Dreamer.

I want you all to know that I’m not just the President of Round Table International; I’m the Chairman of a club with over 30,000 members. Together with my brothers, I’m ready to change the world.

One Tabler alone can make a difference. One club full of Tablers can create a huge impact on the local community. One association of Tablers can turn the impossible into possible. But 30,000 Tablers united can make dreams come true.

I have my team—30,000 brothers from all over the world, led by 17 incredible individuals who give 100% every day (and often even more) to make our shared dream a reality. I have my dream.

Now it’s your time to rise. It’s your time to find your team and chase your dream!

Remember, I’m always just a phone call or a WhatsApp message away. You are part of my team, and I want to be part of yours.

Daniele

VICE PRESIDENT 2024-25 CHRISTOPHER MINTOFF

Strengthening Our Global Community

It was extremely humbling to be elected Vice President of this fantastic organization. The World Meeting in Maastricht will forever be a highlight of my personal and Tabling life. This achievement was further amplified by seeing the fantastic complete team that has formed the RTI Board for 2024-2025. At the World Meeting, it didn’t take long for the celebration to be replaced with actual work to get up to speed with the requirements of the office.

To me, Round Table is very important organization that focuses on young men, whatever their background culture or religion is. I want this organization to be stronger and more relevant in today’s reality. The way I can do so is to make sure that all the work RTI does is felt by its members all around the world.

The flagship project I will be pushing this year will be the Round Table Wiki. This will be a public encyclopedia of our organization as it currently stands, its history, its traditions, past events and community services projects. This will serve to increase our digital footprint (which is almost nonexistent), will help with sharing best practice, fits our agenda of transparency, and will make it much easier for all members to understand better the fantastic organization they form part of. We deserve for our story to be well documented and for members to fully understand what they form part of. Having all of this information at hand will allow us to adopt adapt and improve faster.

The role of expansion officer forms part of my portfolio as VP. This is one area where the only promise I can make is that I will work hard for RTI to contribute it every way it can. The first result we can soon celebrate will be the Charter of RT Guyana at the end of November, which were formed with great work by RT Suriname.

Expansion projects depend on many factors, including finding the right guys on the ground, the right persons to support them, and the right climate for the flame of Round Table to catch on. While giving absolutely no guarantee on outcomes, there are sparks in Poland, New Mexico, Togo, and other areas in North America. Focus, team effort and hard work will bring results in this area.

These are not all of the ideas we have, but we will start presenting them in due course. If we only achieve a fraction of the plans, we have for the couple of years ahead we have, we will make our organization

A few weeks in, and I’m already having a blast working with the RTI board, the Regional Chairmen, and the board assistants. In my position, I am also curious to see how the board of the year after will start to form; there have already been some great Tablers who have put their name forward for roles in that year.

The future for Round Table International and Round Table as a whole is very exciting!

SECRETARY 2024-25 KRISTER VELLET

A Personal Journey

We all join Round Table for different reasons, but the path to fully understanding its magic takes time. In general, there are Tablers who dive headfirst into the excitement — enjoying the brotherhood, self-development, and unique experiences Round Table offers. But my approach has always been more cautious, taking things step by step, assessing risks, and moving thoughtfully.

I vividly recall a conversation I had with a dear club member two years into my Round Table journey. We sat at a pub, beers in hand, and I confessed that while I enjoyed the time spent with my fellow brothers, I didn’t yet understand the true power of the movement. Looking back on my 15 years in Round Table, I now see why my enthusiasm took time to develop. I feared stepping out of my comfort zone, missed opportunities for personal growth, and shied away from seeking new challenges.

But life has a way of pushing you past your fears, and slowly but surely, I began to embrace the opportunities Round Table presented. As I entered the second phase of my Tabler life, I started visiting other clubs, attending my first international events, and experiencing the weight of responsibility as a club president. These experiences shaped me and allowed me to grow as a brother, eventually sparking the desire to do more.

For me, each milestone — from holding different positions within my club to participating in events hosted by other clubs and being part of the Round Table Estonia National Board — gradually ignited a passion that culminated in January 2023, when I knew I wanted to become the next RTI Secretary. This fire inside, driving you to do something you hadn’t even dreamed of before, is special. I wish every brother could feel this at least once during their journey in Round Table — to realize what their ultimate purpose is within the organization and then commit to seeing it through, no matter how challenging the road ahead may be.

For me, that road was the

20-month journey to Maastricht.

As of 21st September, I have had the honor of serving as RTI Secretary, and I am incredibly proud to be the first Estonian to hold this position. I feel that a great Secretary should always be where they are needed most, doing what they genuinely love. In my time as Secretary, I am committed to pushing my own boundaries, growing personally, and supporting our associations, President Daniele Cusi, and the entire RTI Board as we work toward our goals for this term and lay the foundation for the future.

Focus Areas & Plans for the Year:

Organizing the Tabler.World Documents page to ensure folders are up to date and past versions are archived.

Continuously learning and gaining even deeper insight into the RTI Rulebook, Guidelines, and Policies to understand if and where future amendments are unavoidable and necessary.

Tracking RTI Board tasks to ensure pending tasks are updated, and deadlines are regularly monitored.

Involvement in various expansion projects to track progress and support the realization of plans.

Continuously tracking Tabler.World data and mapping missing information to ensure consistency. One of the Secretary’s key responsibilities is maintaining an electronic file of all members’ logos. My personal “fun project” is to start collecting the club logos missing in Tabler.World by reaching out to those clubs.

I look forward to working with each of you to push Round Table to new heights. Together, we’ll continue fostering friendship, personal development, and meaningful contributions that are the lifeblood of our movement. It’s my honor to serve, and I’m excited about the journey we’ll share.

TREASURER 2024-25 OMAR HIMMICHE

Looking Ahead: Year Two and Beyond

Our movement is fortunate to have many highly competent Tablers, each bringing invaluable expertise in their respective fields. This internal resource not only allows the movement to grow and develop from within but also provides opportunities for Tablers to work on meaningful projects, leave their mark on the development of the movement, and contribute to their own self-development.

It is in this spirit that we have established various working groups focused on different themes that are essential to the advancement of our movement. These working groups provide a platform for these talented individuals to share their insights and actively participate in shaping the future of our association.

One of the key initiatives in this regard is the ongoing work on the long-term treasury plan, which aims to secure a sustainable financial future for the association. This year, we are expanding the working group to include more voices, and I invite any members who are interested to contact me if they would like to contribute to this important discussion.

Reflections on My First Year as International Treasurer and Plans for the Year Ahead

As I look back on my first year as International Treasurer, I can confidently say that it has been a truly enriching experience. I had the privilege of attending various events, which allowed me to meet many brothers from around the world. One of the most delightful aspects of this role has been the warm connections you made. It’s a unique and wonderful feeling to visit a city for the first time and be able to greet nearly everyone on the street, thanks to the large number of Tablers gathered for events such as World Meetings (WM) and Half-Year Meetings (HYM) and even in the national AGM. These moments have reinforced the strong bond we share as a community and the importance of the role we all play in building and sustaining these connections.

When I started as Treasurer, I set out with clear objectives: ensuring adherence to rules, fostering transparency, and mitigating financial risks. Respecting the framework set by our association’s rulebook and guidelines is fundamental. It is the Treasurer's responsibility to make sure all financial operations comply with these rules, guaranteeing that our actions are both lawful and aligned with our values.

Equally important is the need for transparency. Keeping members regularly informed of the association’s financial health through detailed reports is key to maintaining trust. These reports provide clear insights into resource allocation and ensure that all operations are well-documented, making it easier for everyone to understand and engage with the financial management process.

The primary objectives of this working group for the year are to focus on the following key themes:

Travel and Representation

Strategic Development

We understand that implementing these initiatives will require adequate funding. The idea would be to analyze all possible options, including the potential for increasing cap fees to support these activities. A detailed analysis of the costs and financial implications would be conducted in the first half of the year. The goal is to present the various options at the HYM, with the aim of having a fully developed and comprehensive plan ready by the World Meeting in India.

I look forward to working with each of you to push Round Table to new heights. Together, we’ll continue fostering friendship, personal development, and meaningful contributions that are the lifeblood of our movement. It’s my honor to serve, and I’m excited about the journey we’ll share.

AMI REGION

AMI Regional Chairman’s focus for the Year.

I am Louis Radley, husband to Marlise and father of Lisa and William. I got inducted as a Tabler at my Home Club – Round Table Bloemfontein 158 in 2015. I have been privileged to have served my home Association, RTSA, as an executive council member for 4 years and one of the highlights were to be RTSA President when we hosted the 2023 World Meeting in Cape Town.

I am privileged and proud that my AMI brothers elected me as the AMI Region Chairman for the 2024-2025 term – it is an honour and a privilege to serve my own region and represent AMI.

AMI is a vibrant region covering parts of Africa, the Indian Ocean and the Middle East. Geographically, we cover a very large area. 9 of the 10 full members are situated in third world countries that are constantly developing. This means that we are faced with day-to-day poverty issues and that charity is a very important element of tabling for the Tablers of the AMI region. Our region has various many inspirational stories like-

The Rainbow Children’s Village in Zimbabwe, where they help children with cancer.

RT Malawi playing a key role in a project that ensures that 13’000 people have access to water daily.

RTSA distributing more than R22 Million (€ 1’050’000) in the last term.

RT Victoria Falls 7’s Anti venom project that saves many lives.

AMI might have less members than other regions, but by facing our daily difficulties and challenges, we have a profound purpose and determination, which makes us belief in our calling of serving the community, creating change and shaping the future of the less fortunate, because in AMI, we cannot escape being our brother’s keeper. The tablers in the AMI Region has distributed more funds per capita and put in more man-hours than most.

Our plan as a region for the year includes the following –

Creating a stronger bond and building on the current relationships between the Associations within the region.

Developing a membership plan that will increase our members.

The Associations to operate more as a collective and be able to learn from each other and share good practises.

Improve our PRO and Social media presence

Updating the constitutions and meeting procedures.

Our FB page has already grown with 22% followers since the 2024 RTI World Meeting.

I look forward to be leading the AMI Region and representing my AMI brotherstogether, we will serve our communities and bring change to shape the future of the less fortunate.

ASPA REGION

Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.

The RT International Asia Pacific Region is one of the most distinct regions culturally and also spread over 2 continents Asia and Australias. The pre dominant member is RT India which borders three other associations which have their own distinct qualities namely Nepal, Bangladesh and Srilanka. In the South Eastern Part of Asia we have Singapore and The Philippines, we also have Hong Kong in the east and New Zealand in another continent. The diversity of region is a big challenge as well as opportunity for us to bond with so many cultures. The beauty of this regions is its pluralism.

A very apt quote on planning has been a guiding light to give shape to the year 2024-25

“Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” – Abraham Lincoln.

As part of a concerted effort of all the member associations a few things were agreed at the regional meeting in Maastricht,

1. Joint Service Project

2. ASPA Fellowship Event

3. Better traveling within the region

4. Promote the WM in India

5. Possibility of a new member association in the region: Explore Vietnam

6. Stability of old associations which were affected during Covid-19.

7. Regular Councillors meetings.

To achieve the above mentioned goals a plan has been put in place and a few teams have been formed.

Tabling year 2024-25 will see a new approach with ASPA Region council being instated. We will be having four teams with members from the associations.

1. ASPA PR Team- Luv Kumar Agrawal (RT India) Dhiraj Agrawal (RT Nepal)

2. ASPA Project Team- Prerit Mittal ( RT India), Aditya Bansal ( RT Nepal) and Gautam Singhania (RT Singapore)

3. ASPA Fellowship Team- Tusshar Agarwal (RT India), Abhay Sultaniya (RT Nepal), Dilanka Mannakkara (RT Srilanka), Shobhit Agarwal (RT India), Dinuka Ranasinghe (RT Srilanka), Vaibav Vedak OT (RT Singapore).

4. ASPA Growth Team - Raveen Wickramasinghe (RT Srilanka)

Nitesh Kumar Agrawal (RT Nepal) Suyash Mehrotra ( RT India)

A lot of inspiration for the year has been drawn from Shamaal Panagoda ( ASPA Chairman 2023-24). He is an integral part of all the plans this year, as it was a three year plan that we envisioned and crafted in 2023.

Focus events of the year:

A service project at the ASPA AGM in Srilanka is already being worked out which will be a first of its kind.

ASPA Fellowship event has been planned for 17th-18th January, 2025 in Thailand. It will be a no registration event.

A special ASPA Limited Edition Number Coin is being made to mark the year.

RT International is a combination of all the regions and the performance of these regions is the achievement of the whole association. I would be really happy to report the progress of the events and performance of the teams in the days to come. The plans are really exciting and I hope we as a team can work hard and bring the region closer and bond stronger.

As this year’s theme correctly mentions “ONE TEAM ONE DREAM”

CEE REGION

CEE Region Chairman’s Vision for 2024-25

Dear fellow Tablers I am honored and privileged to take on the role of CEE Region Chairman for the 2024-25 term. It has been a great start to my term as CEE Chairman. I would like to start by thanking you all for your kind words of support in Maastricht and in messages since, it’s a massive boost for my confidence in taking this role and I’m feeling really positive for about what we can achieve in the CEE Region during the coming 12 months. I would like also a massive thank you to previous Chairman Michael D’Aubrey for his guidance since I was elected at the Half Year Meeting. Having a great handover has been extremely valuable.

With the CEE Region making up a significant percentage of our worldwide membership and home to a number of our largest associations, this is a role I do not take lightly but alongside a fantastic set of councilors and my region board, I am confident we can have a strong year and achieve our targets. We have a lot of ambitious work planned but I’m confident we can achieve our goals. With that said our key aims for 2024-25 are as follows:

A region wide membership maintenance tool. This will include tools for helping growth and a system for maintaining a healthy membership level.

Continued support to our smaller associations and E-Club and continue reviewing and exploring expansion opportunities within the region.

Under 30’s Community. The idea of this group is to give a platform to identify and nurture our future leaders.

A dedicated Community Service Project for the Region.

Greater Side by Side relationship with our sisters in Ladies Circle and the MEUR Region.

And to help me with these targets I am proud to introduce my region board for the year. These guys are a great team to work with, they all have great ideas, and I am so pleased to have them as part of my team.

Christoph Alder; Round Table Germany – Secretary Bram Rozestraten; Round Table Germany – Membership and Extension Florian Wagner; Round Table Austria – CSO Robin Cox; Round Table Netherlands – Under 30’s Representative Amrinder Chana; Round Table Great Britain & Ireland – PRO

Joost van Velzen of Round Table Netherlands will also be working with us in the background as we look to push out the expansion document alongside our membership growth and development.

I am excited to be part of a new chapter for Round Table International under the leadership of our President Daniele Cusi I look forward to seeing what the future holds.

One Team One Dream

Fostering Unity and Growth: NEA Region Chairman’s Vision for 2024-25

Dear Legacy Reader, Meet Daníel Sigurður Eðvaldsson, a dedicated tabler from Round Table Club No. 5 in Akureyri, Iceland. This year, I have the honor of serving as Chairman for the NEA Region for the 2024-2025 tabling year, representing a vast, vibrant part of the Round Table International (RTI) community. If you see me at the next event, don't hesitate to come over for a chat!

(RTI) community. If you see me at the next event, don't hesitate to come over for a chat!

The NEA Region is unique in its diversity, covering 13 associations across the Americas, Nordics, Baltics, and even Russia. Despite the geographic distances and cultural differences, we share a common purpose this year: to foster a more united NEA Region. We're working hard to support our smaller, developing associations, helping them strengthen their roots and deepen their connections with RTI’s broader mission.

Expansion is another major focus for us this year, especially with the promising progress in Guyana. After dedicated efforts from the team there, they’re ready to officially join the RTI family on November 30th. It’s an exciting milestone, and we’re optimistic about expanding further into the Americas, with budding interest in the United States and even early sparks in Mexico.

These initiatives are the embodiment of RTI’s spirit—bringing people together to share ideas, grow as individuals, and positively impact our communities

However, the road isn’t without challenges. Supporting our smaller associations, like those in Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, and Trinidad & Tobago, remains one of our biggest priorities. These clubs have a fantastic spirit but need guidance and resources to thrive.

If you have contacts or can lend support, reach out. Together, we can strengthen our network and help each association become a solid pillar in the Round Table community.

Being part of Round Table is a privilege and an opportunity to forge friendships and create lasting impact.

Let's make this tabling year one of unity, growth, and shared purpose in the NEA Region.

Looking forward to meeting you at our next gathering,

Daníel Sigurður Eðvaldsson

SEM REGION

Building Stronger Connections: SEM Region Chairman’s Vision for 2024-25

SEM Region - On Time Hello, dear friends from the always punctual Switzerland! I have the honor of being the new SEM Chairman at Roundtable International. I have been a proud member of Round Table Bern since 2015 and have held various positions there. From the local level, I made the leap to the national level and was able to be active as the national president of Round Table Switzerland. With this experience under my belt, I am now looking forward to continuing my passion and commitment at an international level.

Professionally, I am an architect and construction manager, which enables me to plan, coordinate and successfully realize projects - a skill that also benefits me in my work at Roundtable. In my spare time, I enjoy Live-Action Role-Playing (LARP), which allows me to let my creativity run free and immerse myself in other worlds.

As SEM Chairman, my focus is clearly on strengthening our associations within the SEM region. My predecessors have already done a great job and I am keen to continue on this path. Cohesion and mutual support between the associations are crucial to successfully achieving our goals.

One of my main goals is to provide the necessary resources and assistance to associations that need support. Whether it's stabilising or even increasing membership numbers, we want to ensure that every club has the tools and knowledge to grow and succeed. We achieve this through intensive dialogue, workshops and close cooperation within the region.

Another major project for the coming year will be a social project involving the entire SEM region. Although I can't reveal too much at this point, I'm sure it will be a significant project that will strengthen social cohesion and have a positive impact across national borders. More details will follow soon - stay tuned!

One highlight of the coming year that I would like to emphasise is the SEM Regional Meeting in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, which will take place in June. This event will provide an excellent opportunity not only to deepen our friendships, but also to discuss how we can realise our common goals in the SEM region even more effectively.

The SEM Regional Meeting will ensure that we have the opportunity to share best practices, learn from each other and have inspiring discussions about the future of the Roundtable in our region. I warmly invite all members not to miss this special event. It will be a great occasion to recharge our batteries and ideas to strengthen the work in our local clubs and associations.

And yes, I know - the SEM region is not known for its punctuality. But rest assured, when I announce a time for a meeting, we will start on time - or at least almost!

I'm looking forward to an exciting year full of growth, collaboration and, of course, fun. Together we can continue to develop our region and strengthen the spirit of Roundtable International.

Yours in International Tabling,

Thomas Spicher

A Year of Impact: RTI CSO’s Vision for 2024-25

This year, as the International CSO for Round Table International, I envision a program that serves as an inspirational guide rather than a strict to-do list. It’s essential to foster a sense of purpose and belonging within our community, and I believe that organizing social projects aimed at helping the less fortunate is key to achieving this.

In a world where many are searching for meaning, our initiatives can provide that connection. By engaging in service projects, we not only uplift those in need but also create a sense of fulfillment for our members. This commitment to social good generates a golden circle: we undertake meaningful actions, promote our efforts, and inspire interest from others. As we showcase the impact of our work, we naturally attract potential new members who resonate with our mission.

Additionally, it’s crucial to highlight the standout actions of our national associations. By shining a light on their innovative projects and successes, we can inspire others to get involved and learn from these initiatives.

Action Calendar

October: Pink October (Breast Cancer Awareness)

November: Movember (Men’s Health Awareness)

December: Toy Collect (Gift Drive for Children)

January/February: Illiteracy Awareness Campaign

March: Blood Donation Drive

April/May/June: Food Collection or “Cleaning Everest” Project by Round

Table Nepal (exact dates TBD)

July: Anti-Bullying Campaign

September: Waste Challenge

Together, let’s focus on creating a legacy of service that empowers both our community and our organization.

TABLER WORLD MANAGER

The State of the Union: What’s Happening on TABLER.WORLD and the New App

As a fellow Tabler and the RTI TABLER.WORLD Manager, I’m excited to bring you up to speed on the latest developments within our digital ecosystem. For those of us deeply involved in our community, staying connected, organized, and engaged with each other is at the heart of what we do. With that in mind, we’ve been working hard to deliver new updates to TABLER.WORLD and a brand-new app that will make connecting with other members and accessing important tools easier than ever. Here’s a look at what’s coming up—and how the unique way we develop our platforms ensures every Tabler’s voice is heard.

What’s New on TABLER.WORLD

As Tablers, we rely on TABLER.WORLD to stay organized, coordinate events, and manage resources across families and associations. Soon, you’ll see some powerful upgrades to help streamline those tasks, making TABLER.WORLD an even more efficient tool for our community.

One major update is coming to document management. We know how important it is to access and share documents with ease, whether it’s meeting notes, event plans, or resources that benefit the broader community. The upcoming enhancements will allow for more efficient workflows, giving us all a smoother experience when creating, editing, and sharing documents.

We’re also enhancing how invites are shared across partner families. Collaboration between Round Table, Club 41, Ladies Circle, Agora, and Tangent is central to the Tabler experience, and this new feature will make it easier for every member in each family to stay connected and easily share key events. This improvement is more than just a technical update—it’s a much-requested and meaningful step toward strengthening our sense of unity and teamwork across all our partner organizations. With “One Dream, One Team” as our guiding motto this year, we’re committed to ensuring that each family is fully in the loop, reinforcing our shared journey together as one community. We will continue to deliver more enhancements in TABLER.WORLD to support these efforts.

A New App for Tablers to Connect

Another exciting development is our new app, which is currently in beta and expected to launch before Christmas. The goal of this app is simple: to make it easier for Tablers to connect, network, and share contact details. In the spirit of Round Table, building meaningful relationships within our community is essential, and this app will put that ability right at our fingertips.

With the app’s intuitive interface, you can connect with other Tablers for professional networking, event coordination, or simply expanding your friend circle. The

contact-sharing feature will make exchanging details quick and secure, allowing us to focus on building bonds rather than on logistics. My hope is that this app will become a key tool for every Tabler to strengthen the connections that are the foundation of our community.

Our Development Process: Built by Tablers, for Tablers

Ever wondered how TABLER.WORLD is developed and how we choose what features and updates to prioritize? In essence, the process is straightforward but collaborative. We work in quarterly sprints, each dedicated to delivering meaningful improvements to the platform. However, the true driving force behind these priorities comes directly from our associations and family representatives.

Our backlog—the list of features, improvements, and fixes we work from—is built from suggestions submitted by associations and members alike. Every month, representatives from all Tabler families come together for the ‘Ohana Meeting to review this list and determine which updates should take precedence. Together with Peepl, the company powering TABLER.WORLD, we then assess each idea’s technical and financial feasibility. Many smaller updates are funded directly through our license fees, providing a set amount of development hours each sprint. For larger or globally impactful features, the family Boards or associations may fund development individually, or a collaborative financing solution is agreed upon.

This community-centered, inclusive process ensures that our development approach is not only agile but also genuinely responsive to the evolving needs of Round Table, Club 41, Ladies Circle, Agora, and Tangent communities around the world.

The New Feature and Product Roadmap: Powered by You

To further involve each and every Tabler in shaping TABLER.WORLD, we’re rolling out a feature and product roadmap that will allow you to submit ideas and vote on submissions. This roadmap is about putting the power in your hands, allowing you to highlight the features and improvements that will make the biggest difference in your day-to-day experience.

By submitting ideas and voting, each of us can help guide the future of TABLER.WORLD, ensuring it stays relevant, useful, and reflective of our collective goals. I’m excited to see what ideas our community brings forward—and to make them a reality.

Moving Forward, Together

These updates are part of a larger vision for TABLER.WORLD, one that places each of us at the center of its evolution. From enhanced document handling and family-sharing features to a new app designed to make networking seamless, we’re focused on making TABLER.WORLD a tool that supports and strengthens our community.

And with a quarterly sprint process driven by representatives from all families and associations, you can rest assured that our platform will continue to grow and adapt in response to our needs. Keep an eye out for these updates, and let’s continue building a platform that reflects the best of what it means to be a Tabler.

Building Our Global Round Table Community: A New Chapter in Connected Impact

You’re scrolling through your phone after a long Round Table meeting. Your club just completed its biggest project of the year. The first thing you do:

A) Share it only on your local Facebook page

B) Tell a few friends in neighboring clubs

C) Inspire 30,000 Round Tablers worldwide

If you chose C, keep reading. The way we share our Round Table stories is always evolving

In an era where digital connections span continents in seconds, Round Table International stands at a unique crossroads. Our organization, built on the foundations of local fellowship and community service, now has the potential to amplify our impact through meaningful global collaboration. As your RTI PR Officer, I’m excited to share how we’re building bridges between our clubs worldwide – not through grand declarations, but through practical, value-adding connections and templates that strengthen both our local and global presence. This shift improves how we understand Round Table, how we talk about it, and, most importantly, how we can best share the core of “what Round Table is to us” with others.

Starting Where We Are

Every week, across different time zones and cultures, Tablers—you!—are making remarkable things happen in your communities. In Germany, a club is organizing a Duck race that funds year-round youth projects. In India, Tablers are coordinating education initiatives that transform local schools. In South Africa, members are running projects that bring warm clothing to those in need. These local actions are our strength. They always have been, and they always will be. But imagine if the knowledge, creativity, and experience from each successful project could flow freely between clubs, inspiring and enabling similar impacts worldwide.

Welcome to RTI Global PR Group: Where local impact meets global inspiration

The Power of Shared Resources

This vision is now becoming reality through a straightforward but powerful initiative. We continue building our WhatsApp community where PR officers from Round Table clubs worldwide can connect, share, and support each other. Think of it as a virtual Round Table meeting, but one that never ends and where everyone brings their best ideas to share.

What does this mean in practice? Every Tuesday, we share a “Check-in-Tuesday” post – and invite you to copy, to re-use, and to contribute. Every Friday, we celebrate our diverse heritage through "Rondel Friday" features. But beyond these regular touchpoints, we're looking for your inspiration and collaboration to fill the content calendar and to achieve something more fundamental: a library of resources that makes every club stronger.

From Local to Global and Back Again

Consider this scenario: A club in Belgium develops a compelling recruitment campaign that successfully attracts young professionals. Through our new global PR network, they share their templates and insights. Within weeks, clubs in New Zealand and Zimbabwe adapt these materials to their local contexts, each adding their own creative elements. The improved versions flow back into our shared resource pool, creating a cycle of continuous improvement that benefits everyone.

This isn't just about sharing social media posts or design templates (though we're doing that too, with access to professional tools like Canva Pro and Affinity). It's about creating a space where every success story becomes a seed for future successes elsewhere.

Theme Months: Unity in Action

Our theme months exemplify this approach. Take "Movember" – while each club can organize activities that make sense for their local community, they'll be part of a larger, coordinated movement. Through shared resources and regular

The "One More" campaign and the “Rondel-Week” we are planning for 2025 will showcase how different cultures approach membership growth, providing a rich tapestry of ideas for all to draw from

Your Invitation to Connect

This initiative isn't about creating more work for busy Tablers. It's about making our existing efforts more impactful through simple, practical collaboration.Whether you're a PR officer managing social media channels or a club simply looking to share its story better, there's value here for you – and we invite you to join us.

We're starting with basic building blocks:

A WhatsApp group for immediate connection and sharing

Training sessions to enhance our collective capabilities

Looking Ahead

Access to professional design tools and templates

Regular opportunities to showcase your club's achievements

The beauty of Round Table has always been its ability to combine meaningful local action with global fellowship. In today's connected world, we have an unprecedented opportunity to strengthen both aspects simultaneously. By sharing our successes, learning from each other's experiences, and coordinating our efforts when it makes sense, we can all become stronger while remaining true to our local roots.

This isn't about creating a one-size-fits-all approach to Round Table activities. Rather, it's about providing each club with more tools, ideas, and support to achieve their unique goals.

Whether your club is in a major city or a small town, whether you're rich in resources or working with limited means, this network exists to help you make a bigger difference in your community.

Join Us

We're building this global PR community one connection at a time, and your voice matters. Join us on WhatsApp, explore our shared resources, and be part of writing the next chapter in Round Table's story of service and fellowship.

Your unique perspective and experiences are valuable not just to your local community, but to Tablers worldwide. Together, we can turn individual efforts into collective impact, all while strengthening the special character of each local club.

GREETINGS FROM SIDE-BY-SIDE FAM

ILY

Dear Tablers,

LADIES CIRCLE INTERNATIONAL

LISHA KUFEKISA

PRESIDENT 2024-25

What an incredible experience it has been to participate in the Round Table International World Meeting! For me, it was not only an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and forge new connections but also a significant learning experience. The energy I witnessed reaffirmed how inspiring it is to see young men come together for what they stand for and believe in, truly living the motto of Adopt, Adapt, Improve. The diversity among you, yet your unity as one, highlights just how unique you are. I am more excited than ever about our future, and I am truly honored to be part of this journey as we strengthen our collaboration for even greater impact. This year is particularly special with the introduction of the first-ever Side by Side logo. This emblem symbolizes our unity and shared vision as we work hand-in-hand to make a positive difference in our communities and celebrate fellowship of friendship and service. It is a clear testament to the growing synergy between Round Table and Ladies Circle, and I am proud of the path we are walking together. Our strength lies in our solidarity, and I am confident that together, we will continue to achieve even greater things.

I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and praise Round Table for the tremendous work you continue to do globally. Your dedication to service, leadership, and fellowship is truly inspiring. Your efforts have a lasting impact on so many lives, and we at Ladies Circle are always proud to stand Side by Side with you, supporting your endeavors.

One area where we can unite our strengths is in advocating for mental health. It is an issue that touches everyone in some way, and together, we can break the stigma, raise awareness, and provide much-needed support to those who need it. I pledge Ladies Circle International’s full support in this important cause. Let us continue to uplift each other and create spaces for open conversations about mental well-being, ensuring that our communities are not just served but truly cared for.

I also want to remind you that you are the change the world wants to see. Many young men and women look up to you as role models, admiring your leadership and dedication. You are not only shaping your own lives but also setting an example for others to follow. Your work is more than just a service—it is an inspiration to society, and your passion for making the world a better place has a ripple effect far beyond what you might realize.

Thank you once again for your friendship, your commitment, and your unwavering dedication to building a brighter future. I look forward to many more shared projects, initiatives, and unforgettable moments of fellowship. Together, as “One Team, One Dream” we are unstoppable.

In friendship and service,

TANGENT CLUB INTERNATIONAL

ANNE KOKO

PRESIDENT 2024-25

Let Friendship Continue

Tangent Club International (TCI) is an international umbrella association of Tangent Clubs worldwide. In Tangent Club International, we empower women through friendship, and we wish to pursue the best we gained from Ladies’ Circle International – friendship, unity, and the LC-spirit.

Tangent Club is a natural extension to Ladies’ Circle, so the friendships and networks established at Ladies’ Circle can be maintained when the upper age limit of Ladies’ Circle is reached.

TCI is the smallest and youngest association in RT-family. We celebrated our 10-year anniversary this year. TCI includes 15 full-member countries and four associated countries and more to come. From the very beginning we wanted to work side-by-side with the RT- family, at a local, national and international level.

We have common projects and campaigns and all main events, such as international HYM and AGM together with club 41. Together we are stronger, better and have so much more fun.

Recently we held our HYM together with club 41, but there were also members from the whole family. It was an amazing event in beautiful Bern, meeting old and new friends, laughing, dancing, having an unforgettable time together,

without forgetting the important meeting. You could just feel the spirit of sisterhood, friendship and togetherness – RT-family at its best.

Yours in continuing friendship

Anne Koko

AGORA CLUB INTERNATIONAL

JILL BREES

PRESIDENT 2024-25

Embracing Our Strength

Dear Tablers,

I am thrilled to share with you that I have officially taken on the role of International President of Agora Club International for the past three weeks. This honor not only fills me with pride but also with a deep sense of responsibility to all Agora members and the incredible network we share.

My motto during my presidency is “Release Your Power.” This phrase resonates not just within our Agora Club but also across all the clubs that form our vibrant family.

Each one of us has unique strengths and talents that, when harnessed collectively, can lead to remarkable achievements. We are not just individuals, we are a powerful community.

One of my primary goals as International President is to foster closer collaboration among all clubs within our network.

The strength of the Round Table Family lies in our unity. When we share resources, ideas, and support, we create an environment where every member can thrive. I encourage each of my members to engage with people from other clubs, attend joint events, and participate in collaborative projects. Together, we can enhance our experiences and achieve greater success.

Let’s embrace the spirit of collaboration, unleash our potential, and continue to build a powerful community that inspires and uplifts every member of our extraordinary family. Remember, your voice matters, and together we can achieve extraordinary things.

Thank you for your continued friendship. Let’s make the most of our journey together!

Yours in Friendship,

DR. SID SIDDHARTHAN

VICE PRESIDENT 2024-25

5 clubs 1 Vision- Side by Side

Round Table Family organizations with the same motto and origin by functioning unitedly, can amplify our efforts, maximize our effectiveness, and achieve a greater positive impact on the communities we serve.

To this effect the International Presidents of Round Table, Ladies Circle, 41 , Tangent and Agora Clubs should embarked on an initiative to encourage respective member country National Presidents to meet biannually together for the following purposes:

1. Joint Community Service Projects: Organizations can collaborate on large-scale National community service projects.

2. Educational Programs and Workshops: Sharing knowledge through joint educational programs, workshops, or training sessions can benefit all organizations involved. Topics could include leadership development, fundraising strategies, grant writing, or specific skills related to our service focus.

3. Resource Sharing: By sharing resources like office space, equipment, and technology, we can reduce costs and ensure that more funds go directly toward our service initiatives. This could also include sharing staff or expertise in areas like accounting, marketing, or legal services.

4. Joint Media and Public Relations Efforts: Working together on media campaigns, social media outreach, or public relations efforts can enhance visibility for all organizations involved. This unified approach can attract more attention from the media and the public.

5. Cultural and Recreational Programs: Organizations can plan joint cultural or recreational programs that bring members together and promote social cohesion. Examples include sports tournaments, arts and crafts workshops, or music and dance events.

By sharing these initiatives, RT Family organizations can leverage our collective strengths, reduce costs, and enhance our ability to serve our members and communities effectively.

The outcome of meetings of all the National family organizations can be shared with their International association.

I would like to propose that the 5 Clubs International Presidents write to the Presidents of all their member countries to implement this initiative.
