Our Statement... Dear Dancing Family, We welcome you to our 26th School Recital. After all these years, we are proud today to be able to celebrate the generations of parents and students that have been and continue to be part of our dancing family. We couldn’t be more grateful for all of you. Together we have built our studio and company an important reputation in the community. Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet is recognized as one of the most prestigious ballet schools in South Florida and as an important educational center which has contributed enormously to the enhancement of the arts and culture in our vibrant community in North Miami Dade and South Broward and has even spread beyond our borders. Ballet and the arts base their long existence in tradition. In passing knowledge and experiences to younger generations. The world has been fortunate to continue to celebrate the works of many great creators of the arts, from Beethoven to Aaron Copland in Music, from the Pyramids of Egypt to the One World Trade Center in New York in Architecture, from Leonardo Da Vinci to Jeff Koons, from Hans Christian Andersen to Theodor Seuss Geisel in children’s literature or from Shakespeare to Ernest Hemingway to mention universal writers, and from Anna Pavlova to Julie Kent or Rudolf Nureyev to David Hallberg in Ballet. The arts continue to be alive because of the legacy they represent and the contributions it has made to humanity. We are proud to have in our audience some of our former students that are now parents watching their children perform. Some of our teachers and professional company members were once part of the Musical Kinder 1 generation back in 1997. Many former ballet students that have graduated from our school attribute their success in their many different careers to the ballet training they received, the access to a higher knowledge of arts and culture and the happy but disciplined environment in which they grew up while dancing. We thank all of you, for allowing today’s young performers to be the recipients of that knowledge, discipline and legacy at Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet. We are committed to continue to pass this legacy onto your children and the community, for many years to come. We invite you then, to enjoy the work of several generations of dance and happiness on stage. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show! Vladimir and Ruby Issaev Directors
