KEEPING IT CLEAN

• COVID-19 may be on the wane, but we don’t want to get lax at the gym.

• Disinfecting wipes are available to wipe down machines before and after use.

• Spray bottles and orange towels are available, as well.

• Towel bins are located outside the locker rooms.

Let’s work together to keep Health Zone clean and members healthy!

CLINICAL SERVICES

THE MEMBER EXPERIENCE

Get more out of your Health Zone membership by participating in the member experience program. From fitness assessments to orientations, our services can help you determine the best programming and equipment to meet your goals.

FITNESS ASSESSMENT

A fitness assessment appointment is quick, informative and can help you determine your fitness level and set a plan of action. Included in your appointment is the InBody composition analysis, cholesterol screening, vital numbers such as blood pressure, flexibility, endurance and strength training.

EXERCISE ORIENTATION

Review the results of your fitness assessment, create a plan to achieve your goals and learn about our exercise equipment. By the end of your appointment, you should have a basic exercise program and information about other programming you may enjoy.

ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

INBODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS

PROGRESS CHECKS

There is no better motivator than to see your efforts are working. Schedule progress checks to see your improvement. A progress report will compare your two most recent fitness assessment results. It will show you where you have improved and areas that still may need improvement. Our clinical staff will review your results and make suggestions to help you change up your routine to improve your program.

This simple test provides a comprehensive report of your body composition including weight, body fat, body mass index (BMI), a segmental fat analysis, intra- and extra-cellular water readings and a results consultation with our staff. An InBody composition analysis is complimentary with your fitness assessment or rechecks. For more information or to schedule an appointment, visit the Member Services Desk.

PROGRESS ORIENTATION

Over time your body will adapt to your program and there will be diminishing returns. In the progress orientation we will revise your current program so that you can continue to progress.

Aquatic, strength and yoga orientations are also available. Speak with our Member Services Desk to get more information on these sessions.

Health Zone Clinical Services is pleased to announce we are now using WELLD HEALTH to administer our clinical programs. Schedule a fitness assessment appointment to reboot your fitness program and receive your MYWELLD invitation.

FROM THE DIRECTOR

We are gearing up for a wonderful Member Appreciation Week starting October 7 and culminating with the fall open house on October 12.

Please know how much we value you as a member, and we hope you enjoy the extra festivities to celebrate you!

I hope you’ll invite your friends and neighbors to the open house, where they’ll see all the great amenities and classes that make Health Zone truly special.

As we approach fall, this is a great time to start looking forward to cooler weather. But fall also brings unexpected rain and shorter daylight hours. That means fall is a great time to reignite your exercise routine at Health Zone, where it is always bright and always dry—unless you’re in one of the pools, of course!

Finally, I want to thank all our members for supporting us during the 10th annual Kids Mini Triathlon. This event was one of our biggest ever, with 156 kids crossing the finish line. The triathlon was the grand finale of a record-breaking summer for us with the highest-ever number of kids signed up for summer camp and Learn2Swim classes.

It always is truly inspirational for me to see tomorrow’s Health Zone members who are learning to love exercise early.

I appreciate all our members who cheered them on and made room for our extra visitors during the triathlon. It truly was an amazing event.

I look forward to seeing you soon at Health Zone.

Leave a review!

Let us and others know about your experience as a Health Zone member.
