Stadium for today’s Pitching-In Southern Football League Division One Central match. Today, we welcome the players, officials and supporters of Bedworth United and we hope you all have a safe and enjoyable stay with here in Cambridgeshire this afternoon. First Off, I hope that everyone reading this publication and here at the game today is well in health, along with their families and friends in what has been a quite horrific seven months. Who would have known what was lying ahead when we were entertaining Berkhamsted Town way back in early March? Fingers crossed that the new measures being implemented by the government help to stem the spread of the virus and non – league football is allowed to continue long term. In what has been a quite unique start to the new season, we have started our competitive games with the early rounds of the Emirates FA Cup and last Saturday saw us exit the competition at Soham Town Rangers, disappointingly losing 3-2, after beating Pinchbeck United 4-0 in the previous round. Our brand new kit should have arrived from Italy and we should be giving it airing today, adorned with our new sponsor – Preferred Plumbing and Heating Services, so we must thank Steve for his generosity and ongoing support and indeed, all our new sponsors and advertisers who have chosen to get behind the Club this coming season. On the subject of sponsorship and it’s much needed generated income, I must say what a fantastic job Mehmet Mimoglu has done since coming in as Commercial Director, so well done mate, keep up the good work. Just going back to the playing kit, replica shirts, with supporters’ names emblazoned in them, should be available to purchase in the very shortly, so please keep an eye out on the new look website and our social media platforms for further details.

Firstly, a warm welcome from everyone at St Neots Town Football Club to all the players, staff and directors of Bedworth United. It seems like a very long time ago that the country went into lockdown. I remember thinking at the time it will be nice to have a couple of weeks off! Them weeks turned into months and the novelty of having some free time wore off pretty quickly. So it’s great that things are gradually getting back to normal, football is back and it’s brilliant that we can welcome you back into the stadium to cheer on the lads.
I’ve always loved winning and hated losing. In fact, I’ve hated losing more than I’ve loved winning. For too long at our club losing has become a habit and it’s almost become accepted. It’s not going to be the case this season. I know how difficult it is when you get in a bad cycle of results. But I’ve seen the mentality of the players changing. I see they’re desperate to do well. We know that if we want to be successful we’ll have to work really hard. We will still be a young and inexperienced side, which could be seen as a disadvantage. Or we can see it as an advantage, that we’ll have more energy, be quicker and be more dynamic than opposing teams so it will be up to us to make sure our games are fast, free flowing and as dynamic as possible.
I’ve kept the players I wanted from last season, added some real quality and over the next couple of weeks will add another 2 or 3 players to our squad. I think we’ll be good from the start and get better and better as the season goes on. Thank you for your support and here’s to a successful season.

Pitching In Revealed as New Partner for The Southern League Fantastic news for the Trident Leagues (Southern, Northern Premier and Isthmian). GVC is delighted to announce that the new sponsor of the Trident Leagues – Southern, Northern Premier and Isthmian - is Pitching In. In my three months with the club I had the chance of working closely with the Board of Directors, got to meet several fans and had the chance to meet many local businesses. There is massive amount of hard work put in by everyone involved with the Club .Even though the current COVID-19 situation has brought massive challenges , the response of local businesses to our club is very positive. I feel proud to be part of Saint’s community whom I feel totally connected with and share the same high ambitions for the club.

Covid – 19 Matchday policy
In addition to the clubs general Covid-19 risk assessments and policies. Further matchday policies 1. Ticket purchase on-line prior to the fixture (minimum one week before the fixture) 2. Cash will be taken with risk assessment measures in place. 3. Gate maximum will be set at 500 paying spectators (non-covid capacity is 3500) or adjusted in line with Government guidelines 4. All players, Staff and Officials upon entry’s will be Temperature checked 5. NHS Track and trace procedures will be in place for all workers, spectators, Visitors, Players and officials . These will be kept on record for 21 days Should you be diagnosed or show symptoms of Covid-19 during the 21 days after the match please call 01480 470012 and inform the club. 1. Social distancing is adhered to throughout the ground including entry queues and Beverage queues 2. A One way system in place for Food and beverage purchases that are clearly identifiable 3. A One way system for internal and external toilet use. 4. A Designated covid- 19 safety area for any individual who shows covid-19 symptoms while on site. Matchday programmes will not be available to purchase but will be available FOC on line at www.stneotstownfc.co.uk All sports equipment should be sanitised before and after use All players should bring their own identifiable water bottle Further Action 1. Welcome back to football Everyone it’s been a long wait
It’s been a very strange year for all of us and things undoubtedly will continue to be unsettled until we can get a grip of covid 19 virus. However the government have gives the Green light to kick off a bit later than normal our league campaign for 20/21 season ; Team St Neots has been working tireless behind the scenes trying to keep the club afloat in these unprecedented and challenging times and to try and keep the facilities in its best condition possible during these difficult times for all! However the team continue to surprise us all in there endeavour to maintain standards that the club work hard to achieve and I am glad to say the club is ready and covid safe for the welcome return to league football � at The premier plus stadium and our welcomed visitors Bedworth United to kick our league campaign off. We are all very excited with Barry Corr and his team and the excellent quality and talented squad he has and brought together to represent St Neots Town and look forward for a very competitive season with the ups and downs that football always brings. I would like to officially welcome on board a new member to our team and new commercial director Mehmet Mimoglu and wish him every success with the saints. Most boys and girls that go through the clubs Academy seamlessly move onto our Post 16 sports Scholarship programme We pride ourselves on developing players in a safe structured environment, working to a coaching syllabus which has given us the capability to help both talented boys and girls reach their full potential. The current St Neots Town FC Academy was established in 2012 under the guidance of the Clubs Director of Football and Academy manager Iain Parr. Our Ethos Iain Parr-Director of Football/Academy Manager "At SNTFC Academy, we have a minimum of 2 coaches in each age group and a lead coach to oversee u8’s-u11, u12-14’s & u15-18’s. My Job as Academy Manager is to create a stable, structured, safe environment for young players to develop and fore-fill their potential. The player’s individual development comes before winning football matches unlike lots of other grassroots clubs, but if we get the squad balance right, players and parents buy into the philosophy, the team will be competitive and players will progress. All coaching staff follow an annual coaching syllabus and players have IDP (individual development plan) to complete to aid development” All teams train twice a week and play Saturday fixtures, currently out u8’s-12’s play in the Cambs leagues and the u13-16’s play JPL (Junior Premier League), our Elite boys U18’s play in the Floodlit Eastern Counties and the Elite Girls U18’s play on the stadium pitch Saturday mornings in the S-tec Girls League

Defensive frailty caused St Neots to be dumped out of the FA Cup at the second hurdle by a resolute but not impressive Soham Town Rangers. It was a case of deja-vu for the visitors because their last FA Cup meeting with Soham was at Julius Martin Lane thirteen years ago and had resulted in a 5-2 reversal. On that occasion St Neots led 2-1 at half time as they did in this match, and on that previous occasion they conceded four second half goals to bow out. This time they only conceded twice after the break but that was enough to see their Cambridgeshire hosts through to the next round. Manager Barry Corr will clearly be working on his sides’ defensive skills at their next training sessions because all three Soham goals resulted from shoddy defensive play and that was hard on striker Leon Lobjoit who took his FA Cup tally to four goals in two games only to finish on the losing side. Soham fielded two former players in their starting line-up in Declan Rogers and Ryan Auger and had two more on their bench (Sam Mulready and Alfie Connor) and ironically the winning goal came from slick co-operation by two of those former Saints. St Neots were without Myles Cowling who was unfit and Ryan Robbins serving the second of his three matches suspension carried over from last season, so the only change in their starting line-up was in defence where Dequane Wilson-Braithwaite was preferred to Tariq Dallas. St Neots began tentatively and after Jake Andrews had sent Soham’s first effort wide, they took the lead after four minutes before St Neots had ventured into the home half of the field. It came from the home side’s second corner swung in by Declan Rogers and at the far post Ashley Walter rose high to head past Louis Chadwick. However, that was a good wake-up call for the visitors who settled down to produce some attractive play and set up openings. Jake Battersby forced a full length save from Josh Pope after 19 minutes and in the next attack Leon Lobjoit was harshly booked after colliding with the home keeper contesting a 50-50 ball. Lobjoit perfectly responded six minutes later as he collected a superb cross field pass from Liam Bennett to audaciously chip the ball over the home keeper to level the scores. Better was to follow ten minutes later when he manufactured the best goal of the match with a curling free kick from wide on the right that bamboozled the home defence as it crept in just under the cross bar. It was a lead that St Neots’ play had deserved, and they saw out the remaining period before the break looking confidently in control of the exchanges. The second half could not have started worse for St Neots. Like they had in the first half they looked extremely vulnerable and inside three minutes of the restart they had conceded their slender lead as an innocuous looking chip to the far post found the head of Tony Andrews and he levelled the scores past a bewildered looking defence. Now both sides went in search of the initiative and when St Neots won a free kick 25 yards out in a central position Lobjoit was only inches from completing a hat trick as his effort only just cleared the cross bar with the home keeper beaten. However, with their rather physical approach seeming to unsettle St Neots, the home side began to dominate play at the expense of a couple of nasty tackles earning yellow cards. A series of substitutions saw the rhythm of the match broken up and it was Soham who seemed to prosper from some very scrappy exchanges. An error by Louis Chadwick gifted Andrews with a free shot on goal but to the relief of the St Neots’ keeper his shot was too high. From a Battersby corner Tom Dickens won the ball in the air but sent it wide of target but then the home side made what was to prove a most significant substitution.
They introduced Sam Mulready up front and within eighteen minutes of his introduction he dived bravely at full length to turn in a Ryan Auger cross, to net the winning goal as the pair of former Saints punished their former colleagues. St Neots finished strongly but their efforts were too little too late as skipper Lee Watkins skied a late free kick over the cross bar. FA YOUTH CUP Wednesday 23rd Sept St Neots Town U18 side begin their quest for FA glory with a First Round Qualifying home tie with Kettering Town U18 on Monday 21 September. In the Preliminary Round St Neots drew a bye whilst their visitors progressed with a 2-1 home victory over Leighton Town U18 side. St Neots have a patchy record in the competition with only one win in their last five games in the competition. However, they have twice reached the third round – in the 2015/16 and 2011/12 seasons. In that 2011/12 run they defeated Kettering Town 2-0 away from home in round two but lost to Soham Town away in the next round. Prior to that match on Tuesday 13th September St Neots kick off their league season with a visit to Godmanchester Rovers U18 who were bottom but one in the table when last season was abandoned, with just two wins in eleven outings. The new look St Neots side with only five of last season’s survivors flattered to deceive in their opening League match in the new campaign away at Godmanchester. They dominated possession in the first 45 minutes but seldom tested home goalkeeper Oliver Douse and despite taking an early second half lead, they finished with two points lost rather than one gained. One reason they failed to capitalise was home striker Julinho Gomes who tantalised their defence throughout with his speed and skill before setting up the equalising goal five minutes from time. Their next test is their home FA Youth Cup match on 23rd September with Kettering U18 side their visitors. St Neots’ bright start was not matched by their chance creation. They lacked inventiveness and quality in the final third with early chances for Marley Edwards and Alfie Carberry wide of target after promising build ups. Max Smalley should have done better with his early chance and the home side never created any opening until 23 rd minute when Dylan Martin in the visiting goal was first in action saving a crisp finish from Giovanni Cantone. He also saved well from a Jack Butler header at a set piece, but they were the two best first half chances for Godmanchester. St Neots were patient but frustrated as Max Smalley freed Carberry who rounded the home keeper but delayed his shot from a wide angle and Douse recovered to save on the line and ion the stroke of half time the home keeper produced the save of the half to deny Carberry. St Neots began well after the break taking the lead after just four minutes when the lively Marley Edwards tried a speculative long range shot which flew across Douse and into the net. However, the home side seemed to be growing in confidence and Gomes was twice stopped in his tracks by some good defending. Douse then forced a full length save from Martin and the keeper also saved well from substitute Joseph Jackson. As both sides introduced substitutes the match lost something of its momentum but the home side now believing they could salvage something from the game enjoyed their best spell in the final quarter of an hour. After Martin had saved bravely at the feet of Gomes the striker proved to be the home side saviour as he unselfishly set up substitute Harvey Gargiulo for what was a deserved equaliser nine minutes from time. By Matt Badcock IF YOU’RE reading this, then it’s good news – you’re reading a football programme, an increasingly endangered species. Like many things post-coved and in this ‘new normal’ there are lots of things different at our Non-League grounds now. The National League have given their clubs the option of not running programmes this year and we’ve seen similar in the EFL. In this digital world an increasing number of clubs are looking at those avenues rather than the printed page. Everyone will have their views on this traditional aspect of football match going. But here we are, in a programme, talking about competitive Non-League football. Hopefully that is as good to read as it is good to write. For many months now we’ve not had much competitive football to write about in The NLP. Yes, we had some play-off games, but the return this month of competitive football starting with the FA Cup has been most welcome. Of course, everything around the game is different. We’re all getting used to the added things we have to do. Book a ticket online beforehand, fill out a test and trace form, sanitise our hands as we enter the ground, follow one-way systems. It’s very different to what we left in March when the 2019-20 season stopped in its tracks. Players are turning up in kit, staying out at half-time for team talks – the current weather helps – and sitting apart on the bench. But, when the whistle goes, it’s back to the football we’ve all missed so much. Crowds being allowed back in stadiums was a massive breakthrough. Hopefully Steps 2 and above will soon follow because all clubs need that money coming through the gate. From a reporters point of view, we’ve never covered such a fluid situation. Things changed literally by the hour. Sometimes even within ten minutes of being told one thing, another call would come through saying it was now something else. It’s been a challenge! Without crowds it would have been impossible to start the season. Then the fears for clubs as soon as the pandemic broke out would have been multiplied. I remember one week, way back in the summer, being told four different opinions on the start date for 2020-21. One said September/October, another ventured November, someone else thought January and another, informed person, feared not at all! Thankfully the first person’s guess was correct but we all are aware it’s a fine line with cases on the rise again. Already we’re getting used to clubs withdrawing from the FA Cup at the last minute because of positive tests and there will no doubt be late cancellations of games throughout the season. We can all play our part. Help clubs stick to the crucial social distancing rules that need to be adhered to. Fill out test and trace forms and throw a couple of extra quid into the coffers. Every little helps. Including buying this programme. Enjoy your football!

BEDWORTH UNITED Year founded: 1895 Chairman: Neill Rayson-Randle Club Website: www.bedworthunited.com WELCOME ESPECIALLY TO OUR VISITORS BEDWORTH UNITED WHO VISIT US HERE AT THE PREMIER PLUS STADIUM AS OUR FIRST LEAGUE OPPONENTS IN THE 2020/21 SEASON. It is really good to be back in competitive league action after a gap of 196 days!! Our last league action here was on 7th March when Berkhamsted visited for the first time ever and returned to Hertfordshire with all three points from a narrow 1-0 victory. At that time Berkhamsted were league leaders and on the way (at best) to the championship and promotion or (at worst) almost certainly a play-off spot at the end of the season. This is to be the seventh meeting of our two sides here at the Premier Plus Stadium in the past ten seasons despite us only being in the same division of the Southern League in five of those seasons. That is because we entertained Bedworth here in the FA Trophy in the 2015/16 season winning 2-0 and that was followed by another Trophy engagement at Bedworth the following season where we were beaten by the odd goal in five. You may be thinking that today is a case of deja-vu because Bedworth were our first opponents in the league last season at The Oval when out two sides slogged out a 0-0 draw that was far from boring. They were also our first league visitors here two seasons ago when we won 2-1 with goals from Claudio Ofosu and Taylor Parr. Bedworth were ninth in the league table when last season was aborted but had two games in hand over the bottom two sides in the play-off positions only five points ahead of them so they will think that had the season finished they could well have been in the top division today! However, we all go back to the start of last season some thirteen months ago with the same league opponents as we all try for glory this time around. Without further ado I must bid welcome all our new players for this new campaign. Ten days ago, we played at Spalding FC against UCL outfit Pinchbeck in the Extra-Preliminary Round of the FA Cup fielding no fewer than five players who were representing St Neots for the first time in a competitive match. Then last Saturday we travelled to Soham Town in the Preliminary Round and flattered to deceive. After having much the better of the first 45 minutes and leading 2-1 at the break, we lost our way conceding two second half goals to bow out by the odd goal in five. Today is also a landmark for Manager Barry Corr because the last visit of Bedworth on 11 January this year was his first game in charge and as our visitors ran out 2-1 victors that day, he will be hoping for his side to get some revenge. BEDWORTH UNITED HISTORY
The first Bedworth Town football club is believed to have been formed in 1895 when several matches were played against other local teams. They became founder members 2019/20 of the Nuneaton and District League in Southern Central 1898, but by 1900 the club had disbanded. St Neots 1-2 Bedworth Another team, Bedworth Evening Bedworth 0-0 St Neots Combination School became forerunners of the second Bedworth Town club five years Enjoy the match later in 1905 finishing runners up in the Second Division of the Coventry and North John Walker Warwickshire League in 1904/5 season. The ECS changed their name to Bedworth Town on winning promotion and stayed in existence until the early 1920's A third club came on the scene in 1925, when Collycroft United, formed in 1916 became the third team to name themselves Bedworth Town. This was the most successful of the pre-war clubs, they were members of the Coventry and North Warwickshire League and spent one season in 1936/7 in the Central Amateur League. They played as Bedworth Central for the 1938/39 seasons but unfortunately folded in 1940. The last club to become Bedworth Town was formed in 1947 and as a semi-pro club secured membership of the Birmingham Combination league winning the Championship in successive seasons 1948/49 and the 1949/50 seasons. In 1951/52 they had their best FA Cup ever. After defeating Nuneaton, the 3rd Qualifying round they lost to Kettering when a victory would have given them an away tie at Bristol Rovers. A lack of success and problems off the field saw Bedworth Town change their name to Bedworth United in 1968. Bedworth St Neots
In 1972 they obtained membership of the Southern League Division One North floodlights having been erected at The Oval in 1970/1. The club made rapid strides into the Premier Division when the league was reformed in 1982 and they finished 5th in 1982 and were stable in that division until a poor run saw them relegated at the end of the 1988/9 season. After two years away (including one in the Southern Premier League and one in the Northern League), Bedworth returned to the Southern League Division One Central ahead of the 2014/15 season. In their first season back at Division One Central level, Bedworth were promoted via the play-offs with a 2-0 win against Barton Rovers in the final on 4 May 2015. Season 2015-16 in the Southern Premier was disrupted by continued squad issues (injuries & suspension) which saw The Greenbacks struggling to avoid relegation, despite a late-rally they were relegated as 4thbottom club, just failing to avoid the 'dreaded drop'. United returned to play in the 2016-17 season in the Northern Premier First Division South.
STUART STORER (manager) Stuart took over the managers’ role at Bedworth at Christmas 2013, making this his 8 th season in charge.The club were looking doomed at the foot of the table. Fortunately with the staff and players he brought to the club all rallied around to fight off relegation. Stuart played professional football for 19 years. Birmingham City, Wigan, Everton, Bolton Wanderers, Exeter City and Brighton and Hove Albion amassing 400 first class appearances. He played non league with Kettering, Chesham and Hinckley, before becoming a coach, he holds an A licence in coaching. ANDY PENNY (assistant manager) Andy resides near Stafford and has had a long playing career. His first club was Tamworth before moving to Barnet, then Stafford Rangers. He then had a very successful spell at Bedworth United, the fans still remember this and he is a local hero. He also played for Solihull, Hinckley United, Redditch United, Stratford Town and finally hanging his boots up at Chasetown. Andy became the reserve manager at Chasetown before taking the assistant managers’ job at Hinckley United in 2013. After Hinckley United disbanded Andy took his present post at Bedworth FC. JAMIE LENTON (coach) Jamie started off his football career as a youngster at Coventry City. He was born in Bedworth and now resides in Coventry. Jamie had a successful non league playing career mainly with Hinckley United. Other clubs he has had short spells with are; Bedworth, Nuneaton, Leamington and Solihull. He made over 300 appearances for Hinckley mainly playing left wing back. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in non league football. Jamie is a UEFA A licence coach and is now Academy Manager with the clubs successful Academy Education Programme. MARK ALBRIGHTON (assistant coach) Mark hung up his boots at the end of last season on a long and illustrious career that saw him start his journey here at Bedworth then came home to finish it here. A great asset to have around the club with his wealth of experience that he is always willing to share with the younger players, invaluable to the team not just for what he does on the pitch but also the time he is willing to put into helping and advising younger players. DAN CRANE Dan returned to the club after taking a brief foray into managing being the Assistant at Gresley but has decided that its not time to hang up the gloves yet. Dans footballing CV includes West Brom as a youngster and a wealth of other non league clubs. Dan is great at controlling his back line and his voice can be heard all over the park his experience is great to have around the club. DAN MOORE Dan is a product of Bedworth United’s junior and youth setup, Dan has already been looked at by a number of league clubs such as Nottingham Forest and Leicester. This lad is a joy to have around the club and the first team and will learn from the experience of Dan Crane and will only develop more definitely a name to keep an eye on in years to come. LUKE ROWE Luke is a local lad and he has grown in stature under the guidance of the coaching team. The 26 year old left sided player was one of the managers‘ first signings from Hinckley 6 years ago, where he played under our manager there. He has played in New Zealand for Wellington making several appearances for the New Zealand national youth team. He always seem to feature in the end of year award ceremonies.
ELLIOT PARROTT Elliot is becoming quite an experienced player despite his young age. The combative midfielder was a youngster at Coventry City and played for Nuneaton Town youth team before joining Bedworth. He will have made approximately 200 appearances for the club and can play in a number of positions with relative ease. Elliott is a fan favourite here and securing his signature for another season could well be the signing of the season TOM SHARPE Tom is a calm assured defender; the 30 year old has had good football league experience earlier in his career at Bury before spending time with Kidderminister Harriers and Worcester City making an abundance of appearances in the conference leagues. His stop start season last year still led to him showing his quality when we needed it and we feel his experience will be valuable in this seasons campaign. Tom missed most of last season through injury and we cant wait to see him back in a green shirt. RICARDO DUDLEY Ricardo joined Bedworth at the beginning of the 2017/18 promotion season from Boldmere St Michael. This strong defender started off his time at Bedworth a tad shaky but once he settled his development for this 19 year old has been quite rapid with some strong performances during the season and is fast becoming a fan favourite he has no problems with putting his body on the line for the team. Ricardo is great around the club and invests time into the juniors when he can which is brilliant for our young aspiring Greenbacks REECE BLACKMORE Reece is now in his 4th season with Bedworth, Reece as a youngster up until U16 was playing at Derby county where he then moved on to play youth football at Kettering Town. Bedworth signed him from Coventry Sphinx and since then he has been a regular in the team becoming a fan favourite because of his combative style of play and no nonsense attitude to the game. LYNUS KING Lynus joined us from Oadby Town as a junior he had a spell with Stoke before moving to Holland and becoming part of both Ajax and Feyonoords youth systems. On returning to the UK he has had spells at Leicester Nirvana, Nuneaton, Stamford and Gresley. Lynus preferred position is as either a Right Back or a holding midfielder, one half of the Leicester twosome who keep the fines system afloat. CAL TEMPLETON Cal has represented Northern Ireland at both U17 and U19 level an is a product of Leicester City Academy having spent 9 years there. A tough tackling centre half with a no nonsense attitude to the game Cal featured a number of times last season and when called upon was solid for the team. MITCH PIGGON Mitch has already wrote his name in the Greenbacks history books having scored here in his previous seasons with us in the Playoff final against Beaconsfield. Mitch is a good old fashioned centre forward who knows where the goal is and has no problem putting the ball in the net with either foot. Mitch again is another player who invests time back into the club and is always willing to help the juniors out with a bit of coaching. RICHARD BLYTHE Richard is a centre midfielder who is happy to mix it but is equally good with the ball at his feet, Richard is another player who has returned to the club after a season at Rugby. He was club captain in the promotion winning season and hopes that he can relieve that glory again this season.
BLAIZE PUNTER Blaize is an Antigua and Barbados international he is a strong reliable centre half who has joined us from Rushden and Diamonds. He started his footballing career at Mansfield then moved on to Quorn and Rugby before settling at Rushden and Diamonds where he made over 50 appearances before joining the Greenbacks early last season. Blaize is the second member of the Leicester twosome who provide the majority of team fines. OLLY MULDERS Olly was an acquisition from Redditch last season a Midfielder who is a product of the Birmingham academy system who has played at numerous league and non league clubs and his impressed so far in his short time here at Bedworth. LUKE KEEN Luke came back to the Greenbacks from Coleshill Town just at the end of 2019. A proven goalscorer who has found the net wherever he has played. In his last stint wearing green he was part of a successful promotion winning side and will be looking to repeat that success again. Luke enjoys nothing more than putting the ball in the net as his reaction when he scores shows fingers crossed we see it regularly this season. SAM WALTON Sam is a new acquisition for this season and is already showing the quality that he was brought in. Sam came to us from Tamworth but also has Coventry City and Derby County on his CV. Sam is a defensive player and we at Bedworth are pleased he has joined us for the coming season and we are sure if he continues to perform as he has done during pre season then he is going to be great signing. KYLE BARNETT Kyle is a strong centreback and also a new signing for this season. Kyle has come to us from Daventry Town and has a footballing CV that lists Coventry United, amongst others. Kyle has impressed so far in his time here at Bedworth United and if he maintains the level of performance that he has shown already he will no doubt become a firm favourite with The Greenbacks supporters ISHMAEL DAWSON Ishmael is a quick and skilful player who has come to us this season from Frickley before that having spells at Sheffield FC, Brighouse, Staverely, and AFC Mansfield. Ishmael has already got his name on the scoresheet a couple of times during pre season and has impressed every time he has pulled on a green shirt with his energy and pace.
