Just The Tonic Ian Parr Hello to all from Hinckley for tonight’s game, I hope you all enjoy your stay with us. Saturdays win against Wroxham was just the tonic we all needed, not only did we win but we won in style scoring three goals, creating so many chances that we could have won by many more. The attitude was spot on and the commitment to fast attacking football was there for all to see.

Congratulations to our new signing Liam Hurst on a great debut coupled with his first goal for the club. Young Kieron looked a threat as well when he came on in the second half.

Moving on to other developments I was very proud that Mike and Lee have asked me to go full time with the club. This of course I accepted without hesitation. I started yesterday with the new apprenticeship scheme with 17 young 16 year olds on a 2-year course. As the scheme progresses we envisage up to 80 young players who want

to try and make the grade. It is a 2 year course of which we can take on young lads at any time during the course of which makes it more flexible then a scholarship of which many other clubs run. The lads also get paid for 52 weeks a year whilst they are full time apprentices. The youth development with St Neots Town Youth / Saints to getting stronger with teams at both Youth and Grassroots level. In 3 years time we could quite easily have 80 Apprentices, and 40 Youth teams all attached to the club. A vast improvements from a first team and an U18 team of just over a year ago. Our next objective is to build up the first team management team and I think you all know that we are interviewing at this moment for an

assistant manager, we are also on the look out for anyone who would like to work on a voluntary basis as club scouts. We are looking for as many as we can so as to be able to cover games at all levels. There are many players out there even in the lower regions of non-league football that could be developed into first team players via the U21s. Of course there are players out there who could go straight into the first team squad. So any of you out there who would want to be a club scout please contact myself, Mike or Lee and we would be only too happy to talk to you. New Signing Welcome to our new signing Alasan Ann who we have just signed from Hitchin Town. Alasan who is a forward was with Luton Town until last summer and we wish him every success with the club.

The players arranged to arrive last Saturday an hour earlier to have a talk about not only their team performances but also their individual performances. Jay Davies of whom I really need to commend for doing this arranged the meeting; it has been a very hard week for the lad. The club laid on some pre-match lunch and the team took the field in a very positive manner. Football is like that you can get into a bad run and the confidence just goes away, it happens at all clubs even at the highest level.

St Neots player/manager Steve Kuhne is leading by example and if his players copy his success rate then the sky is the limit. He scored his first hat trick in St Neots colours since October 2003 to take his tally for the season to eight – six of which came in the eight days spell up to this game. No one will claim that the opposition for this League Cup match offered any significant resistance but there was a job to be done and although based on possession and chances the scored should have been doubled, St Neots will settle for being in Round Two of the KO Cup. Higham’s former glory days as the scourge of higher Division clubs in the competition are clearly over and gone as Saints keeper Stephan Shamlian will testify for he had only one serious save to make in ninety minutes.

In their yellow and black change strip St Neots seemed almost embarrassed by the early amount of possession they enjoyed and Jon Hoggett, Cameron Clark and Craig Reynolds could all have put them in front as the Higham defence was easily breached. However the first goal did arrive on 17 minutes when Mark Franklin produced the perfectly weighted cross to find Steve Kuhne drifting past the square lying defence to score from close range. Shortly afterwards a very tight offside decision against Barry Dellar robbed the visitors of a second goal and with Higham’s only direct shot of the first half their leading scorer Karl King shot straight into the arms of Shamlian. Then two minutes before the break Dellar was fouled and Callum Brown’s free kick found Gary Walker at the far post and he netted with a low shot.

With the slope in their favour Higham looked more positive and determined after the break and inside ninety

seconds King found himself clear but Shamlian acrobatically pushed away his chipped shot for a corner. The home side’s renaissance was shortlived and their teenage goalkeeper Jack Pinnock then produced a string of fine saves as St Neots threatened to overwhelm their hosts. He denied Craig Reynolds and Gary Walker three times although the latter will feel he should have at least trebled his first half goal. St Neots introduced three substitutes one of which Matt Endersby was only on briefly before his accurate corner found the head of Steve Kuhne who increased the scoreline to 3-0. In the last twenty minutes St Neots visibly eased the pressure playing the ball around casually at times in the knowledge that the job was done. Kuhne’s deserved hat trick came 14 minutes from time after a great cross from Jon Hoggett and there should perhaps have been more goals but St Neots will be happy with not only their Manager’s contribution but also very promising performances from newcomers Craig Reynolds and Callum Brown. Welcome Liam and Alasan We welcome two new faces to the club to help strengthen our team and increase our fire power. Liam Hurst signed a contract with Cambridge United just last season where he made a single first team appearance. He was on loan in the earlier part of the season with Corby Town but called back to United so as he could be loaned out to the Saints. A tenacious midfield player who likes to

get forward and score goals. Liam is thought of very highly at Cambridge United and indeed at St Neots Town. Joining Liam is Alasan Ann who was a scholar at Luton town until his release during the last post season. He joined Hitchin Town at the start of the season but was played out of position. Alasan is a very strong, young striker who is full of potential. We welcome them both to our club.

Ian Parr Accepts Full-Time Position We are pleased to announce that Ian Parr has accepted a full time employment with the club. This is a very serious development in the clubs quest to underpin just everything we have set out to do. This week saw Ian start with the new apprenticeship scheme with 17 young 16 year olds on a 2-year course. Great news!

St Neots Manager Iain Parr described this match as a ‘welcome distraction’ from his sides’ poor league form and the players responded with a solid display to see off Ryman League side Wroxham. Had it not been for some inspired goalkeeping by the visitors teenage custodian in the second half the margin of victory would have been at least doubled but the important thing was for St Neots to repair their confidence and pilot their side into the hat for the second qualifying round draw. The result ended a run of four consecutive league defeats and came despite the absence of holidaying defender Dan Crowie who was replaced in the back four by Tom Wood making his Southern League debut. Also included in the starting line up was Cambridge United midfield loanee Liam Hurst whist Karl Safee got his first senior start up front.Wroxham play their football at Step Four and they never looked capable of inflicting a defeat on St Neots although they did look dangerous on the break. However skipper Gavin Hoyte was in outstanding form and when the visitors did threaten they found Neil Conroy in confident mood between the posts. began well and was ahead after just three minutes when Lewis Hilliard curled a free kick around the defensive wall at the near post to beat the stranded goalkeeper after Ed Adjei had been upended. St Neots had pushed the inspirational Adrian Sear up to partner Safee in attack and he was quickly in the action bringing the first significant save of the match from Luis Tibbles. At the other end Conroy tipped the visitors’ first goal attempt from Paul Cook over the bar and then Sear tested Tibbles with a looping header. Safee then shot wide and St Neots were being well served by their neat possession football which afforded Wroxham few chances to go forward. After 20 minutes the St Neots advantage was doubled when a shot from Sear was deflected wide of the goalkeeper and soon afterwards Jay Davies was only inches wide with an angled shot after neat work on the left flank. Conroy did well to block a close range effort by Remy Gordon but St Neots finished the first half comfortably with Davies and Ed Adjei both close to extending the lead.

Confidence Unaffected St Neots reappeared without Safee who had suffered a groin strain but it did not seem to affect their confidence because three minutes into the second half a Lewis Hilliard free kick rebounded from the far post and then with the ball not cleared substitute Bobby-Joe Taylor returned the ball from the right for debutant Liam Hurst to make it 3-0. Then after 55 minutes with no real build up of an attack Ross Durrant hit a surprise 25 yards shot that went over Conroy and into the corner of the net. That could have inspired the visitors but there was no sign of that as St Neots laid siege to the Wroxham goal. Tibbles made two outstanding saves to deny Sear and Hilliard and Taylor did beat the young keeper only to see his shot skid wide. With Kieran Joseph on as a second St Neots substitute he was soon in action also seeing Tibbles save his close range effort following a corner but in the last ten minutes St Neots became ragged and the visitors had two attacks that might have rendered goals. The first after 85 minutes was an almighty goalmouth scramble that saw Conroy make two close range stops and three minutes later the unmarked Cook spurned Wroxham’s clearest chance of the match as he headed wide. However the match ended in time added with two more notable saves from Tibbles to deny Taylor. John Walker

Edd was just outstanding with his orthodox wing play going past his marker time and time again, putting in crosses that seriously tested the Wroxham defence.

A fantastic game to watch, so many chances created by a very talented team. Liam Hurst looks very good in midfield, which gives plenty of competition in midfield. Overall a wonderful win by our young side.

Saturday evenings feel so much better after a well earned win and I’m sure the majority of the crowd went home in a buoyant mood, something that has been missing just recently. Tonight we extend a very warm welcome to the Players, Officials and supporters of Hinckley United and we hope you enjoy your brief stay with us before embarking on a safe journey back to Leicestershire.

Cup Draw As I’m penning these notes (busy week with another programme needed for next Saturday when we play Truro) I, along with many others I’m sure, am eagerly awaiting the draw for the Second Qualifying Round of the FA CUP. Another home draw would be fantastic and of course, if we were to progress, the £4,500 prize pot would also go very nicely with the £3,000 earned from Saturday’s victory. Last Thursday saw a pulsating local derby take place here at the Cozy

Stadium, two days after St. Ives Town first team beat St.Neots Town Youth and Saints in the Hunts FA Senior Cup, it was the turn of our respective Under 18 teams to do battle. We eventually won the game 5-3 but the final score doesn’t tell the see-saw story of just how fortunes can change during a game of football and how important it is to take your chances, keep plugging away when things seem to be slipping away and going against you and play right up to that final whistle. An absolutely first class advertisement for Thurlow Nunn Youth League football and both teams were a credit to their Clubs with not a nasty tackle in sight. Please do come down to watch these lads on a Thursday evening if you can as you will not be disappointed. I can’t actually remember a game as exciting as this one and don’t forget, admission is FREE OF CHARGE, a much better way of spending the evening than stuck in front of the Gogglebox watching the soaps!!! Happy Anniversary Syd and Mae I would also like to use this opportunity to wish Season Ticket holder Syd Wordsworth a belated ‘Happy Anniversary’ after he and his wife Mae recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Congratulations to the pair of you and here’s to many more years together and of course, supporting the Saints Syd and also ‘Good Luck’ to Manager Iain Parr as he begins life as a full time coach at the Club, looking after our young apprentices. A BLAST FROM THE PAST

Zinedine Zidane Full name: Zinedine Yazid Zidane   Date of birth: 23/06/1972 According to the UEFA Golden Jubilee Poll in 2004 Zinedine ‘Zizou’ Zidane is the greatest European footballer of the past 50 years. His accolades are countless, his talents are immeasurable, his legendary status is undeniable, his wealth is record-breaking and his name actually means ‘an overabundance of talent’. Zidane will go down as one of the greatest talents ever to play the game but his memory will stretch beyond that of the pitch. His fiery temperament was perhaps the hottest the game has ever seen. Shown the red card 14 times in his career and most memorably in the World Cup Final in 2006, Zidane played with so much passion that it often engulfed him. There is no doubt that he is one of the greatest players ever. The goals that he scored and the countless with which he assisted have never been more valuable to the teams that he played for. The Early Days of Club Football Born in Marseille in 1972, Zinedine was the youngest of five children born to his parents Ismail and Malika, who were Algerians who found refuge in France. His upbringing was hard and, as immigrants, his family often had to be strong to survive. This tough attitude eventually permeated onto the football pitch. Zidane’s first club was La Castellane in Marseille. At only 14 he caught the eye of nearby team scout from AS Cannes, Jean Varraud. He quickly settled in at Cannes and at 17 he was granted his full debut. His first goal came for Cannes in 1991 and he helped the club to the UEFA cup tournament. It wasn’t long though before the bigger clubs spotted a rapidly emerging talent.

Before he signed for FC Girondins de Bordeaux, Zidane fell in love with Veronique, a Spanish dancer. They would go on to marry and have four sons together. He spent four brilliant years at Bordeaux, at one point nearly being signed by Kenny Dalgleish and Blackburn Rovers, but it was to be the Italian giants Juventus who would poach the ever-improving attacking midfielder in 1996, for what would be a bargain £3 million. The Italian Job Juventus and the entire Italian Serie A league had no idea what was coming with Zidane. The Juventus coach Marcello Lippi built an indestructible team, with Zidane at the helm, and the Frenchman would help the club win two league titles and reach two UEFA Champions League finals. In 1998 he was granted the Fifa World Player of the Year Award. Viva Espana It was only a matter of time before the club that gets everyone they want, Real Madrid, nabbed Zidane too. It wouldn’t happen without a record being broken though. In 2001

Zidane left Juventus and joined Real Madrid for a whopping £45.6 million, which remains the highest football transfer fee ever. They certainly got their money’s worth though. The team were full of the world’s best players (Raul, Figo, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Beckham, Owen). Whilst at Madrid, Zidane helped them win the Spanish League in 2001/02 and the Champions League in the same year. His winning goal in that final will go down as one of the greatest goals ever scored. France His first cap came in 1994 in a friendly against the Czech Republic and, from the outset, he exploded onto the scene by scoring two goals to draw the game 2-2. In Euro 96, France reached the semi-finals but lost on penalties. Their strength with Zidane was growing and that strength would soon annihilate everyone in their path in the 1998 World Cup. Germany 2006 and the World Cup final ended in controversy when Zidane was sent off for a headbutt on Marco Materatzzi, leaving him walking past the World Cup trophy. It was his last ever game.

So Much Achieved Mike Kearns Welcome to the officials, players and supporters of Hinckley for tonight’s Calor Premiership Fixture.

Because of printing schedule’s I am writing these notes before the FA cup draw and just hope we get a home tie against lower opposition. Most would say they want a home tie against a top team but all good cup runs come with the luck of the draw in the early rounds. Last season we were a little unlucky against higher opposition in Boreham wood loosing a very close encounter by the odd goal. Let’s hope we can go a little further this season, as it will give the club a huge lift. New Player Targets Bot Iain and his team have been working tirelessly to bring in new players and we both have taken in quite a few games over the last couple of weeks.

Since then Liam Hurst has joined us for 28 days and we just missed out on Peterborough’s Shaq MacDonald to Conference Premier club Chester City. Having had a long conversation with Barry Fry that night and through the week I really had thought that we might just pinch the player at the last minute. Unfortunately that was not to be but Barry has assured me that we will

be in his thoughts on other players the posh might want loan out to gain match experience. That of course also goes for Cambridge United who have kindly loaned us both Liam and Bobby Joe and indeed Norwich City who have now finalised there playing squads from Under 21s down and Iain and his team have been invited to watch some forthcoming matches and see if any players interest us. It also gives me great pleasure in announcing that Iain has accepted a full time employment with the club. This is a very serious development in the clubs quest to underpin just everything we have set out to do. I also had a quick look at the new Apprentices enrolment last week of which 17 lads enrolled for the next 2 years. There is just so much that has been achieved over the last year and I’m sure that Lee and Iain’s heads are

spinning at just how this has all come together. We are also looking at increasing our football management, coaching and scouting side of the club and we are on the look out for volunteers who would like to become club scouts. This will be a very important part of the club and we are looking for players that could be part of our first team or the St Neots Town Saints under 21 squad. This would take in levels at step 4 and 5 of which we are sure that there are many young players who could make the grade at our level out there. So if you are interested then please just have a word with Iain and let him know of your interest. So onto tonight game where hopefully we can carry on from last Saturdays result.

Free flowing attacking football lots of goal scoring chances, that is what those who attended Saturdays FA cup encounter witnessed against Wroxham. If you have the talent it really is about confidence and on Saturday scoring that early goal really did settle the team down of which allowed them to play football the way we all know they can.

A special welcome to our visitors this evening for our next match in the Premier Division of the Southern League. We have pleasure in welcoming the players, officials and supporters of Hinckley United to St Neots for the first ever meeting of out two clubs. Like us Hinckley have found it a challenging start to the current season and after the round of fixtures on 7th September our visitors were 23rd in the table just below our lads on goal difference. Each of us have three points so far – ours from our 3-1 away win at Bashley and Hinckley from a point each from drawn matches with

Hungerford (away), Banbury (home) and Weymouth (home). So this evening Hinckley is seeking their first win of the season and we look for our first home points of this new campaign. Last Saturday was FA Cup day against lower graded opponents for us both (results not known at the time of this article) as our visitors entertained Rushall Olympic and we had a visit from Wroxham. If successful the next round of the FA Cup is on 28th September.

Club History The town of Hinckley has had an established football team for over one hundred years. The earliest recorded team was Hinckley Town, formed in 1889 and competed in the Leicestershire Senior League, playing their games at the Holywell Ground, behind the Holywell Inn pub. A short spell in the Midland League in 1900 was followed by a name change to Hinckley United and a return to the Leicestershire Senior League in 1905, where the club remained

until the outbreak of the First World War. After the war Hinckley United competed in the Birmingham Combination, becoming champions twice in 1923–24 and 1926–27.

Consolodation The Club then became founder member of the Conference North. After two mid table finishes consolidating in Conference North, season 2006–07 was accepted as the season Hinckley would make a serious challenge for the title. However that did not materialize Off the pitch things gathered pace with the development of the club.

Middlefield Lane was sold for £4 million which funded De Montfort Park, a purpose built 4329 capacity football ground. The move away from Middlefield Lane happened on 5 March 2005 when the first game at the new De Montfort Park Stadium was played. Financial Hardship The next few season were treated as consolidation, as financial hardship hit the club off the field. Players left the club, due to the financial issues, and season 2010–11 saw a virtual fresh team of players start for Hinckley. Again it was a battle against relegation, but after the registration embargo was lifted in November 2010, some new players were brought in and Hinckley dragged themselves away from the relegation zone towards a mid table finish. Season of Struggle Another season of struggle and financial hardship followed in season 2011–12 and the club was relegated on the final day of the season. Off field events became dire for Hinckley United in the 20122013 season and unsurprisingly the club was rooted to the foot of the Conference North all season, and relegation was confirmed in March 2013, having won just 3 matches all season.

Merger moves were made immediately at the end of the 1996–97 season when Athletic narrowly missed out on promotion to the Southern League for the third consecutive campaign following finishes of 2nd, 3rd and 2nd again. A meeting of the respective chairmen, Mick Voce (Athletic) and Kevin Downes (Town), established there was some common ground with each club having something positive to offer, and the merger was completed.

Who calls the shots?... Stuart Storer First Team Manager Born 16.1.67 in Rugby. Signed towards the end of 2000-01 from Chesham United. Veteran of nearly 400 league games with Birmingham, Wigan, Bolton and Brighton. Versatile player who excelled in the role of sweeper and played over 300 games for The Knitters. After retiring as a player, he became Assistant Manager before being appointed as Manager in the summer.

Denham Hinds Goalkeeper Re-joined in the summer for his second spell at the club. Previously he played in the strong FA Cup and FA Trophy runs two seasons ago. Played last season with Oadby Town.

Mariusz Kisiel Goalkeeper A recent acquisition from Chasetown who also spent time on trial with Coventry City.

Declan Towers Defender Versatile defender now in his second season after signing from Oadby Town.

James Hicks Defender Recently made his first team debut having graduated through the development side at Hinckley.

Ford, recently released from local rivals Nuneaton Town, joined Hinckley in August 2013. Ben is a young talented midfielder, strong in the tackle and excellent on the ball.

Attic Fodder Ade Roberts Football surveys across the world show that us British fans are by far the most serious collectors of football memorabilia. Surprised? Come on, we’ll buy almost anything the club shops throw at us won’t we? Does this mean we are the most passionate fans, because we want to own everything we can which bares the club logo? does it mean that worldwide, we have the most disposable income to be in a position to buy this memorabilia? Who knows! Most of us feel that attending the match in the first place is costly enough, and that’s before you buy the programme and the half-time raffle ticket on your way to the club shop! Yet, we still dig deep when we get there and see what’s new. In a years time [perhaps less] I dare say there will be a number of Real Madrid shirts in the attics of many Spanish [and English] homes featuring the name ‘Bale’ on the reverse! I could be wrong but I think the guy is well over rated and won’t last too long at Real Madrid. That would be highly unfortunate for those little Spanish kids (and the grown-ups too) that forked out for the shirt baring his name. Most of us have some degree of collectables hidden away in a corner of the loft, whether it’s a pile of programmes, old scarves or match tickets. Some of us only keep the more memorable items of memorabilia, the special stuff, something signed by our favorite player/s or ticket stub and programme a long-gone final. Then there are those who go totally over the top with shirts, programmes, scarves, badges, stickers, books, tickets and the list goes on, and on, and on. Call it passion for the sport or pure lunacy; there are fans out there who would give up a kidney for that elusive programme which they’ve been after for donkeys years.

In 1999 a survey suggested that British football fans held £15 million worth of memorabilia and it suggested that by 2003, this hoard would be worth double that figure. It’s now 2013 so what’s it all worth today? If only, I had anything worth more than a few quid. Sadly, for the majority, the programmes we have are folded and creased, the scarves are falling apart and the old shirts are bobbled and pulled, shirt sponsors worn away and quite possibly still stained by the beer we drank on the last day of the season to drown our sorrows of yet another mediocre campaign! Lets’ each thank our lucky stars that we don’t support a club barmy enough to splash-out 85.3 million on a player who can only manage 8 keepy-uppies when unveiled to 30,000 adoring [but very expectant]

fans. Incidentally, Bale only made it as far as the bench when in the squad for his country against Macedonia recently. No doubt the ‘Bale’ shirt of Real Madrid will join the old Real shirts of ‘Beckham’, ‘Owen’ and ‘McManaman’ in the lofts of Spanish homes, maybe sooner rather than later! If, after reading this, you feel compelled to dive into the attic in search of your football treasures and fire-up the laptop for an e-bay adventure, don’t blame me if you get less than you wanted for your old souvenirs Enjoy today’s action - be loud, and be proud.

Edd is 21 years old and a versatile left sided player who is comfortable playing at either full back or left midfield, or indeed up front as the second striker. Again a young player under 21 years old Edd has developed into a first class footballer who just loves playing football.

Rene started his football at Arsenal and went on to make one first team appearance before a freak injury playing on loan for Oldham nearly ended his career. Rene first played for St Neots in their Central division championship team but again bad luck hit him again where he was injured in pre season and lost the whole of last season. He is now back in a Saints shirt where he is starting to get back to playing like his old self.

Dan is 19 years old was signed at the beginning of season 2013. Having starting his career at Luton Town his last club was Kettering Town where he was very impressive in the games against us. A very strong centre half Dan, has impressed in pre-season and seems to have made the position his own.

Gavin Hoyte Defender Gavin joined the club just after the start of season 2012-2013. A player of great presence he plays at Centre half and after a settling in period began to dominate his position. Gavin is the second oldest player the squad at only 26 years old. Gavin has been given the role

Defender Jordy is 19 years old and plays mainly a centre half but he is also comfortable at full back. Currently finishing his education at Tresham Academy Jordy has played himself into the first team squad.

Theo Davis Defender Theo a 25 year old left back or wide midfielder, who has spent all of the last 18 months recovering from a serious injury. Theo showed just what an outstanding player he is in his come back game last season against Cambridge City. Unfortunately a re-occurrence of the same injury has sidelined him again.

Lewis Hilliard Midfielder 22 year old Lewis started his career with the Rushden and Diamonds, he then spent some time with Hemel

Hempstead before joining St Neots Town. Lewis is now in his fourth season with the Saints having won two championships and numerous cups with the club. A two footed player who can play any midfield position, a free-kick specialist who can score goals from anywhere on the pitch.

Jay Davies Midfielder Jay 21 has previously played for Peterborough United and Woking of whom we paid a transfer fee for his services in Sept 2012. A dynamic midfield playmaker Jay is only 21years old. but a maturity to see a pass way above his young age.

Liam Hurst Midfielder Liam signed a contract with Cambridge United just last season where he made a single first team appearance. He was on loan in the earlier part of the season with Corby Town but called back to United so as he could be loaned out to the Saints. A tenacious midfield player who likes to get forward and score goals. Liam is thought of very highly at Cambridge United and indeed at St Neots Town.

Ryan Sharman Midfielder Ryan a midfield utility player who is very comfortable on the ball has come through the youth teams being captain of the u18s for most of last season before breaking into the first team squad over the last part of last season. Ryan still only 18 years old has shown maturity way beyond his young age.

Midfielder Tom, an 18 year old centre midfield player was previously with Peterborough United. Having been on loan with us for part of last season we were able to secure Tom on a full time basis.

Bobby-Joe Taylor Midfielder

Andy Palmer Midfielder Andy is 23 years old and has joined us from Linton FC in Cambridgeshire. He playes centre midfield and has put in some very commanding preseason appearances. A confident player who has had no trouble stepping up 3 divisions and has now forced his way into the first team squad.

Midfielder Adrian Is 28 years old and joined the club from Burnham at the beginning of the 2011-2012 where he won a championship medal as well as the Hinchinbrooke cup. He left the club for a couple of months in season 2012-2013 to try his luck at a higher level where he was quite outstanding, however because of budget restraints he returned to the Saints and slotted back into his old routine of giving it everything he had

Dion Sembie-Ferris

Kaine is right midfield player with commanding pace. one of our outstanding young players Kaine broke into the first team last season at the tender age of just 18 years old. An injury stopped his progress and Kaine spent the whole of last season recovering. Having played some part in pre-season Kaine is now ready to regain his place in the first team squad for this season.

Striker Dion is one of our young guns, only 17 years old. A striker with a very good turn of pace and good goalscoring record for our U18s last season. Dion played himself into the first team, appearing in the winning Hunts Senior cup final team last season. Dion has impressed in preseason, scored a few goals and has won himself a place in this season’s first team squad.

Karl Safee Striker Karl only 18 years old is a young striker of great quality, being the top goal scorer in our U18s team last season Karl has played his way into the first team squad for this season.

Ola Sogbanmu Striker Ola 21 years old is a tall striker who has previously played for Woking FC and Carshalton Athletic last season. He is a very versatile player who is also very comfortable playing at centre half.

Kieran Joseph Striker Kieran has joined the club from Kettering Town. He is a very quick lively forward who will cause defences many problems.

Alasan Ann Striker Alasan was a scholar at Luton town until his release during the last post season. He joined Hitchin Town at the start of the season but was played out of position. Alasan is a very strong, young striker who is full of potential.
