A lamp inspired from an Indonesian Spice grinder - the Ulekan. It requires various elements to create a single spice. In here, the moving, grinding gesture triggers the movement of turning the light on. It represents the gesture of ‘Collecting’ the light by turning the mortar, while the pestel slowly illuminates through its opaque shell. www.dig2014.it

This is a Human Powered Shuttle bus that works as a temporary bar that goes around festivals and events. It is a concept for Alce Nero’s Temporary Store. It was also a concept for PALM, an Italian palette manufacturer. The Elk is mainly made of pallets. What if events with shuttles were replaced by a human power-pedaled bus, while the passengers can enjoy a cup of an espresso by Alce Nero?

Click! is a wearable writing tool designed for users such as students and art passionists. The brief was to design a merchandising product for Museo del Novecento. In this case, this bracelet instantly transforms into a writing tool, perfect when taking notes in museums. There’s no need to dig into our bags for pens anymore - Click!

The brief: Injecting different functions in the NABA buildings.Getting access to materials have been one of the biggest problems in NABA. What if we had a 4-stories huge totem filled with materials within a single building where you can flexibly use it 24/7? It’s a self-service, easily accessible, and builds interaction amongst people! www.behance.net/gallery/17857455/HYPERVENDING

A breeze house located in the outskirts of Barcelona, Spain. It has been inspired by Spanish riviera style houses. Two interior gardens within the house creates a bridge between the outside and the inside. Having a harmonious relationship between the outside and the inside was a crucial element in this project - considering the climate of the chosen location and the cultural values that they have.

urban farming as a response to urbanization, food scarcity and inadequate green space. 19
ZESTYHILL: Farming as a part of our living environment What if urban farming were considered much further in our living environment? A communal farming that is within reach, providing fresh, locally grown food for the community. With more than 30 types of vegetables grown in Zesty Hill, it’s not restricted only the inhabitants -- the market located at the bottm makes it accessible for the rest of the other external community as well.

Project Exhibit Design / Editorial Design
23
It seems like it’s Falling, but not falling. Floating, but not floating. Slipping, but not slipping. Sinking, but not sinking. The brief was to use Triennale Design Museum (Milan) as a base, and modify the space to adjust it to our own themes. The concept of gravity – revealed from various point of views has shaped itself into an emblem to express such extreme forces between both its aesthetic value and functional value, but the real challenge was to keep both of its significance in a balanced way.
24
The Exhibit Design course lead by Matteo Mocchi and Valentina Dalla Costa required two main different aspects - which were the interior of the exhibtition, represented by a 1:50 scaled model, which comes with a visual magazine that explains the content of the space, lighting details, structural informations and that focus on the graphical aspects of the project. Editorial skills were mainly emphasized in this project - which involved a lot of visual grpahic aspects. We started by collecfing design objects from design magazines as we developed our themes. Then the exhibition space was created based on the theme - in this case Gravity + Functionality - emerged by the objects that were chosen from the magazines.

MUSHROOM is a platform that gives an ultimate cultural food experience for foodie travelers. It’s not just a home-based restaurant, or just a tourist attraction. In foreign places, of course local people have a kitchen; while travelers don’t. The idea is to connect locals and foodie travelers to create their own experience. Locals treat the travelers as guests, and vice versa. Have a plateful of culture, everywhere you go!
