Company Profile Founded in 1918 by Louis Martin, our factory is based in the heart of Provence in the village of Monteux, between Avignon and Carpentras. Tomatoes have always been our focus, we source them only in our region, famous for its exceptional amount of sunshine and the fertility of its soils. The seasonal activity of processing regional fruit and vegetables, especially tomatoes (40,000 tons of fresh tomatoes per year) enables us to control the quality of the fresh product which has to be perfectly suitable for the production of our sauces, ketchups, and cooked vegetables. A research and development laboratory is located in the factory and allows us to devise still more original and tasty recipes. Our company has a regular strategy of substantial investment in new processing technologies which ensures the very highest levels of quality. Our production facilities have been certified by the BRC and IFS since their inception and our evaluation results have always been at the highest level. These achievements, together with our capacity for innovation and our industrial knowledge qualify Louis Martin as a premium supplier of products for both large retailers and foodservice clients.
Product range Tomato Paste, Tomato Pulp, Chopped Tomatoes, Ketchup, Pasta Sauces, Cooked Vegetables (Ratatouille, Eggplants, Zucchinis) Mediterranean Spreads (Pesto, Tomato tapenades, etc.), both in Traditional and Organic ranges. We also produce Gluten-Free products. We can pack in cans or glass jars from 190g to 5kg, for large retailers of foodservice. Chair de Tomate (Tomato pulp) : Chair de Tomate is a Louis Martin exclusivity. We select the best tomatoes, peel them, deseed them, sieve strain them to get a final product completely free of water. The result is an exceptional tasty and thick tomato sauce. Original Chair de Tomate is also available with Provence Herbs, Garlic, Onions, Peppers and other ingredients.
