All About EsME!

Hello, readers, my name is Esme. I’m 15 years old and I’m currently in year 10 of high school. My favourite subject at school is art, but not the usual drawing and painting side of art that you’re probably thinking of. I work with clay and make sculptures. I know, crazy right? It does get very messy, but I love it! I love that I can make anything and it doesn’t have to be perfect – my imagination goes wild!

I also really like acting and drama. That’s what I want to be when I’m older – an actor. I would love to be on stage with all the lights and costumes. What do you want to be when you’re older?

Right now, I’m doing work experience here at The Salvation Army in the Publishing Department. I’m learning about how the magazines that The Salvation Army publishes get made.

I’m a Christian and I go to a church in Harrow, London. I’ve been going there all my life. Going to that church has helped me grow in faith and build a relationship with God. Very soon I’m going into year 11. I’m a bit worried, but I know that Jesus will be with me and will make me strong.
