I absolutely love my job designing and creating beautiful wedding cakes! I would love to help you with your wedding cake! I'd love to meet you and hear all about your ideas and plans. Your choice in wedding cake design makes a statement about your personality and sense of style. It should reflect you and your good taste. You may choose a sophisticated elegant look. Or show your playfulness and sense of humor as in the case of “whimsical” styles. It should also fit well with the location, the decorating, and ambience which you have created for your reception. Our reputation, experience, and techniques enable us to create the perfect cake for you. We specialize in the latest techniques using “rolled fondant”, which gives you the smooth porcelain like finish so popular today. Choose from simple designs, to elaborate multi-tiered masterpieces.

CA KE D E C O R AT I N G C L A SS ES Patty has spent the last 30 years traveling across the United States and Canada to learn the best techniques used to create classic style masterpieces. She continues her travels year after year to ensure her customers have access to the latest trends and designs. Patty has hosted classes for designers from as far away as South America (Brazil) and the Middle East (Kuwait).

Each class is an intimate and semi-private event; Patty limits the classes to no more than 5 students.

Clases are held at our Sandy, Utah location. We are happy to recommend hotels nearby, and to provide transportation to and from class each day.Each of these classes include intense stepby-step workshops where Patty demonstrates the techniques while working side-by-side with the students to ensure they come away ready to use the techniques for their special events.

Each student or group must submit 50% of the tuition as a Non-Refundable Deposit at the time of registration. This will guarantee your seat as one of only a handful of designers Patty teaches each year. Balance of tuition is due two weeks prior to class.

“Your Class Your Way…” Patty has years of experience traveling to teach the Art of Cake Design. Host a class with Patty as the instructor at your location!

FOND ANT MADE EASY & TOPSY T U RV Y C O MB I N ED B O N US C L A S S

NOVEMBER 10-11, 2014 In this class you will learn to make delicious fondant and white chocolate clay. You will be taught the essentials needed to overlay a frosted cake with fondant, assemble multiple layers with cake support systems, beautifully decorate, and safely transport a 3 tier wedding cake. You will gain hands-on experience while learning directly from Patty as she teaches you her techniques step-by-step. ie quilting, dots, embroidery, vines, stripes, simple flowers, lace, borders etc.
Students will create a 3 tier project using the tricks and techniques taught during the class. Students will also receive DVD’s

10 AM-5PM “Making Fabulous Fondant” & “Gum Paste & Chocolate Modeling Clay” . Bonus: Topsy Turvy will also be covered in this class & include free DVD Students will need some cake decorating experience.
Arrive at 9:30-9:45 am. Class begins at 10:00am and ends at 5:00pm. All equipment is provided. Just bring an apron and a smile for a great time. You will love this rewarding and creative experience! Lunch will be provided.

T O PS Y TURVY CROOKED CAK ES NOVEMBER 10 - 11, 2014 10 AM - 5PM {Last chance for months!! Next classes in October 2014} In this class you will learn how to create a “Topsy Turvy” cake using Patty’s original unique new method.This class will show you how to make crooked cakes without cake carving or using any special cake pans. You will be shown how to transport your cake completely finished with TOTAL CONFIDENCE.

Your cakes will be sturdy and sound. Hands on experience making various whimsical bows and flowers, using textured rolling pins, rolled ribbon roses, hand rolled pearls, diamonds, stripes, polka dots, ribbon wiggles, etc.

Crooked Cakes”
 This is an intimate semi-private class with no more than 5 students per class. Intermediate level only,students must have prior fondant experience. Arrive at 9:30-9:45 am. Class begins at 10:00am and ends at 5:00pm. All equipment is provided. Just bring an apron and a smile for a great time. You will love this rewarding and creative experience! Lunch will be provided.

Tuition: $350.00

Students will create a 3 tier project using these tricks and techniques. Each student will also receive copies of the DVD’s “Gum Paste & Chocolate Modeling Clay” & “Topsy Turvy

F OND ANT M ADE E A SY & CRI CUT CA K E MARCH 3- 5, 2015 10 AM - 5PM {3 Day Class: Mon-Tues Fondant Easy/ Wed Cricut Cake}

This class will be a combination of Patty’s Fondant Made Easy Class AND Cricut Cake. During the first two days, Patty will teach you how easy it is to make delicious fondant and chocolate modeling clay, and how to cover a real cake or styrofoam dummies. Basic decorating techniques such as dots, quilting, embroidery designs,vines, stripes, diamonds, various borders, lace, simple flowers will be taught.

Each student will complete a 3 tier project (styrofoam dummies), and receive the DVD’s “Making Fabulous Fondant” and “Gum Paste & Chocolate Modeling Clay”. The third day will be devoted to “Using Cricut Cake”. First a demo on making gumpaste for use with the Cricut. Hands-on experience using proper methods for rolling out the gum paste and applying to the cutting mats. Next, how to cut intricate designs and apply

to your finished cake. Bring your own Cricut Cake machine (or you may share with one of ours.) Each student will complete a 2 tier project, and receive two DVD’s “Simple Designs Using Cricut Cake” & “Advanced Designs Using Cricut Cake and Design Studio”.
Arrive at 9:30-9:45 am. Class begins at 10:00am and ends at 5:00pm. All equipment is provided. Just bring an apron and a smile (and your Cricut Cake if possible) for a great time. You will love this rewarding and creative experience! Lunch will be provided.

MARCH 5, 2015 10 AM - 5PM

{$50 Discount if taken with Fondant Made Easy}

Students must have prior fondant and gumpaste experience.First a demo on making gumpaste for use with the Cricut. Hands-on experience using proper methods for rolling out the gumpaste and applying to the cutting mats. Next, how to cut intricate designs and apply to your cake. Bring your own Cricut Cake machine (or you may share one of ours). Each student will complete a two tier project, and receive two DVD’s “Simple Designs Using

Cricut Cake” & “Advanced Designs Using Cricut Cake and Design Studio”. We also have a few machines for sale at unbelieveable prices. 
 Please arrive at 9:30-9:45 am. Class begins at 10:00 am and ends at 3:30 pm. All equipment is provided. Just bring a apron and a smile (and your Cricut Cake if possible) for a great time. You will love this rewarding and creative experience. Lunch will be provided.

Dear Patty, Just a note of Thanks for all your efforts which culminated in the Englebert Wedding at Log Haven this past Saturday. We were ecstatic with the presentation of our cakes-they were spell-binding, and then so gratified that they tasted absolutely delectable. Rave reviews all around from our guests-some admitting to having a second piece to try a different flavor! The Chocolate Groom’s Cake was consumed immediately, with the Raspberry & Lemon close behind (Lemon being my personal favorite!)
 I’ll be ordering for birthdays and any other “excuses” I can think of knowing now the qulity of your cakes.
