Physical Elements
I
There are large trees which are along the street specially towards the Helmet cross road. The trees have large foliage and are 1.5 m away from the existing compounds walls. These spaces are untreated and are mud patches. The median is newly built by rail corporation and cut outs are available at only junctions. Mud Pathways Break In Median

Accessibility and Mobility There is high amount of mobility between amul junction to helmet cross road, where as from amul junction to vijay cross road there is high rate of accessibility.
I
The junction are more accessible as it has more destinations with many entry points.
While in the middle, the street is more towards mobility which indicates the increase in speed.
Scale - NTS
Porosity and Accessibility Map
I
More porosity is towards vijay cross road because of commercial edges and opaque edges towards the institutional area and helmet cross road.

Street Activities
I
There is high vehicular volume towards junction. We observe more of two wheelers on particular stretch. The major reason of high traffic is the connectivity of this road.
This nodes which majorly carries residential traffic, also acting as a diverter. Passerby by count is high. One of the major junctions designed with flyover and BRTS in the central lane. This particular street has heavy traffic as this radial connects to Thaltej. Thus leading to lots of Vehicular. Movements.
This junction connects 120 ring rod to the Thaltej radial and hence carries heavy traffic specifically during peak hours. Scale - NTS

Image of the Street – Objective
I
• Create a vibrant corridor through a combination of comprehensive public and private realm solutions that complement each other. • The relationship of public realm elements to private building entries, canopies, retail visibility, and outdoor seating is a critical factor to the success of the corridor. • Incorporate building setbacks from property lines to expand usable open space. • Facilitate larger bicycle connections. • The plan concepts relate to both the public right-of-way (sidewalk and street paving, parking, lighting, furnishings) and on-site elements (building setbacks, access, canopies, furnishings, etc.).

Proposed Overhead Metro Station
• High Traffic volume at Junction due to Multi modal transport hub and poor traffic management • Uneven Carriageway- alters the speed & traffic density intermittently Scale - NTS
Outcomes of reconnaissance, site issues and challenges
D
• Street edge consumed for Private vehicle Parking due to attraction of eateries and commercial front
• Metro Rail column at the centroid of the Junction acts as a natural round-about but instead leaves scope for unregulated movement • Vibrant Public space along street edge • But unsafe for pedestrians to cross the roads • Private vehicle friendly- hence provokes them to be used as sit outs & only option for accessing other parts in this location
