Visit “The Jewel” of Santa Rosa! This 138acre community park provides seemingly endless recreational opportunities. There’s beautiful Lake Ralphine for fishing and boating, a softball field, tennis courts, picnic areas, unique playground structures, miles of hiking and jogging trails, and the KLand amusement area.

Ponies
Ride around the corral outdoors at Howarth Park. Maximum weight limit of 90 pounds per rider. $7/1 lap $10/2 laps $60/10 ticket pony pass
Land of Imagination
This unique playground offers a “A Walk Through Time” where you can dig for dinosaur bones, watch a volcano erupt, stroll the streets of Old West Town, or conquer the giant net climber.
Animal Barn
During summer season, stop by the Animal Barn and pet the animals. Open June 12 – Aug 6. Tickets $2 (purchase at train station window)
Boating & Fishing
Paddleboats, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards are available for rent. $8 - $12/hour
California Department Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) stocks Lake Ralphine regularly with trout and catfish. All CDFW regulations are in effect and a fishing license is required.

Pump Track
Northwest Community Park 2880 West Steele Lane
Take a ride on the pump track at Northwest Community Park! The name comes from the pumping action used by the rider’s body to propel motion. The track is open seven days a week for the enjoyment of all, weather permitting. It is maintained by Redwood Empire Trail Alliance & TREK Santa Rosa through Rec & Parks’ Adopt-A-Green Space Program.
Luther Burbank Home & Gardens

Redwood Empire Live Steamers Interactive Museum
Youth Community Park 1701 Fulton Rd. First weekend of the month, May-October $1 per ride - donation requested
Jump aboard the mini-train at Youth Community Park operated by this nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to preserving Sonoma County's railroad history through the re-creation, in miniature, of railroad equipment and historic landmarks.

Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery

This 17-acre historic landmark located in the heart of Santa Rosa was a burial site for early residents, primarily from the 1850s to 1930s. Volunteers restored the cemetery from decades of neglect. Burial plot maps and self-guided tour brochures are available at the kiosks and online at SantaRosaRec.com.
Tours are FREE (donations appreciated). Pre-registration is required. Tours depart from the Franklin Gate and last 60-90 minutes. NOTE: uneven surfaces and slopes.

Honor the day with special guests and tours of veterans’ graves.
Visit the McDonald's graves, then proceed down McDonald Avenue to view and discuss the historic homes and their early residents.
Learn the history and lives of the women who helped shape Santa Rosa and Sonoma County.
