Jeremiadic Rhetoric has been said to be a distinguishing construction that exchanged with cultures and governments to aid in shaping of an idyllic society. Every group, nation, or culture that has met the hands of oppression, imperialism, or colonialism-in whatever forms, shapes, and fashions devise a way to achieve social change (Willie J. Harrel Jr. 2008).

Kahapon, Ngayon, at Bukas was a drama written by Aurelio Tolentino during the American period thereby, considering it as part of postcolonial literature. ď‚ž And postcolonial perspective according to Homi K. Bhaba, formulate critical revisions around cultural differences, social authority, and political discrimination in order to reveal the antagonistic and ambivalent moments within the rationalizations of modernity. This criticism also bears witness to the unequal forces of cultural representation involved in the contest for political and social authority. ď‚ž

Time frames may not be necessary in a study of literature, but since literature and history are inescapably related it has become facilitative to map up a system which will aid us in delineating certain time boundaries. These time boundaries are not exactly well-defined; very often, time frames blend into another in a seeming continuum (Kahayon and Zulueta 2000). ď‚ž Drama is a literary genre that portrays life, giving joy and pleasure, writing information, communicating life and an illusion of life. ď‚ž

The study would find out if the voice being conveyed by the drama is still echoing or merely evolving at the present. It would see if the drama written by the creative mind of Tolentino will not just be a figment in reality.

It would like to find its relation and implication for the current time as well as the future.
