HELLO & WELCOME

Spring has most definitely sprung at Save the Date HQ and we are having a major spring clean. Mainly of our website. It has been long overdue and we are working with a brilliant bunch of designers on a brand spanking new website which we hope to reveal in time for the next edition of the magazine in the Summer. We are so excited to share it with you! In other news, we have some gorgeous wedding eye candy for you to feast your eyes upon in this issue. There’s the new venue ‘The Kedleston’ on pages 12-13 which we just couldn’t wait to show you. We fell in love when we went to visit and know it’s going to be one of the hottest venues in the East Midlands for the coming season. There’s also the beautiful nuptials of Alex & Pete at the Carriage Hall on pages 6-9; literally like a Pinterest board of envy inducing wedding pretty. Plus, of course, we have lots of chats with local wedding suppliers who you just HAVE to discover – the talent in our area just gets better and better.

e got married at the Carriage Hall in Plumtree. We chose this venue because we loved the open brick building with high ceilings, exposed beams and large windows. It had so much potential to do exactly what we wanted with it. The grounds and rural views were beautiful; it was everything we were looking for. We had heard good things about the award winning Perkins restaurant before so we knew the food would be of the highest quality. We would describe the style of our wedding as rustic vintage with a summer fete type feel. We chose this style as we wanted something fun, relaxed, quirky and a bit different from your traditional English wedding. My dress was fairytale and romantic. I chose it because it complemented my figure and it was easy to move and dance around in. It made me feel really special and like a bride. ‘The Wedding Room’ in Chilwell was the fifth shop that I visited and as soon as I tried my dress on I instantly knew it was ‘the one’. I loved it so much that I paid the deposit there and then and cancelled all the other bridal appointment’s I had previously booked in! We hired a unique wedding/party photo booth in a taxi by Ava Go Booths. We had never been to a wedding with a taxi photo booth before and they parked up outside which was beneficial so that they weren’t taking up any room within The Carriage Hall. It went down a storm! Jake Stone provided the acoustics on guitar;

W W W.

we approached him to play at our wedding when he was busking on Clumber Street in Nottingham City Centre. He played for us outside in the sunshine during our drinks reception and canapés. Then, we chose a 6 piece band called Under the Covers; we provided them with the song choices that we wanted from the last 5 decades and they recreated our first dance song perfectly. Matt Horan is so passionate about his photography, he captured the day perfectly! He’s a lovely guy and it was a pleasure to have him at our special day. Our cake was by Cakey Wakey. We chose a naked cake consisting of 3 tiers (lemon, chocolate and victoria sponge) surrounded with summer berries and roses. Michele Gledhill Flowers and Styling is very popular around the area. She had some great ideas and was able to accommodate everything that we wanted to do; she made our vintage rustic theme dream possible. My advice to all newly engaged brides would be to enjoy the wedding prep, give yourself plenty of time, spreadsheets and Pinterest!” To discuss your dream day with the team at the Carriage Hall;

edding bookings are coming in once more at The Kedleston Country House, the new boutique venue in the heart of Derbyshire, just a stone’s throw from the stunning countryside of The Peak District. Once the venue-du-jour throughout the 70s and 80s, sadly, in early 2010, it shut its doors and was left boarded up, until now, when a vast and exciting renovation by Derby Brewing Co has breathed the elegant soul back into the iconic building. Perhaps the best kept secret in Derbyshire, boutique luxury is the venue’s enviable location – only a couple of minutes drive from the bustling centre of Derby and yet with the feel of a rural retreat. For wedding parties, this means an uber stunning backdrop of beautiful, gently rolling hills and the peacefully quaint English villages dotted around with their imposing stone churches, and yet all the modern convenience for travelling guests of being so easily accessible and with an effortless contemporary luxury. As you climb the sweeping Georgian staircase to the doors, guests are met by a unique blend of English heritage and tradition, with modern country house feel. The interiors, designed in conjunction with their friends at British Interiors company, Plum & Ashby, mix worn stone and burnt wood flooring with natural scrubbed wood tables, and antique chairs, covered in leathers and heavy fabrics. Each area has a fresh, welcoming feel. Wedding ceremonies are held in the new Georgian-inspired, lightflooded Orangery with guests enjoying views of the extended landscaped Georgian garden overlooking the Estate. From the whitewashed lanterns with twinkling candlelight, to the natural linen napkins, the fresh foliage in the Orangery, and the wool Plum & Ashby throws, for when the evening draws in. These special touches mean that the

wedding budget doesn’t have to be wasted on dressing the venue with elaborate touches – the beauty is already built right in! Guests can also enjoy the many cosy corners the venue has to offer. The Snug, with its low level sofas, log burning stove and floor to ceiling wood panelling in muted greys, rather befits the style of a beautiful hunting lodge and is perfect for those intimate quiet moments. The light filled Parlour, offers a private bar for wedding parties to relax in, whilst the Hidden Study enjoys a cocktail bar for guests to watch the theatre of the Kedleston Mixologists. The real perk of being owned by an award-winning brewery, is the amazing versatility that allows in the drinks. From delicious cocktails for the guests when they arrive – designed and named by the couple, with help from their super awesome mixologists; to bottled Derbyshire beers, labelled with the couple’s own design and wedding date to give as favours. And forget that standard drinks package! With over 85 wines to choose from, hand-picked from all over the globe, an amazing range of boutique spirits, and of course, award-winning beers – including 7 real ale handpulls, and stacks of world beers and lagers, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Every wedding has its own private bar, in the parlour, running their choice of beers and wines, or you can even book an exclusive brewery day, to design your own beer for your guests!

The venue offers five exclusive boutique bedrooms, each maximising the unrivalled views of The Kedleston estate and gardens, with the huge Georgian windows. The Kedleston Suite is the perfect Honeymoon Suite – featuring a superking pencil poster bed, luxury linens, a roll top bath and separate double rainfall shower. Each guest can luxuriate with the handmade Plum & Ashby toiletries, fluffy white bathrobes and even complimentary Kedleston Gin! Of course, The Kedleston Country House prides itself on its first class service too. Care and attention and great staff knowledge is combined with a warm friendliness and relaxed welcome for guests. Weddings are coordinated under the care and unobtrusive guidance of the venues wedding co-ordinator, Robyn, who brings with her a wealth of knowledge and infectious passion for the industry. We’ll all raise a glass to the happy couples choosing The Kedleston Country House as their unique wedding venue. Cheers!

arah Salotti is a brilliant photographer and genuinely nice person. Her unobtrusive, reportage style ensures she captures the most beautiful elements of a wedding day. Here, we have a chat with the woman herself; Sarah, how long have you been a wedding photographer for? 8 years ago I left my job as a Leicester Mercury press photographer to work for myself as a freelance photographer. Whilst I set out initially to freelance across many different aspects of photography, I knew then that my main creative love was weddings. In the press industry you meet total strangers, create a quick rapport and then walk away. With wedding photography the idea of building strong relationships with my clients has always really appealed.

they don’t, then I’m not the right photographer for them. The essence of what I do is record the day as it unfolds, capturing the emotions, drama and details that makes each wedding unique. I like to adopt a fairly relaxed style and I am constantly on the look out for those tiny, crazy details that even the people involved don’t notice. Blend this with reportage and some constructed portraits and you are close to a product that is unique to each couple. It’s about creativity, without being too obtrusive. My husband, Marco, often works with me, too. He’s my second photographer and I like to have him there, to be able to capture the whole day – including what the groom gets up to. I am extremely lucky to have him. It just works. We understand what we’re trying to achieve and know the exact style of photo we’re after.

What do you love most about your job? I meet wonderful people and get to photograph in some stunning locations. The best thing about the job though has to be taking pictures. If I could take them all the time, that would be brilliant. I just love being part of a couple’s day and being able to capture their happy memories and emotions. I always feel immensely privileged to be there.

What element of a wedding day do you enjoy capturing the most? The one thing that unites all wedding days is the fact that they fly by! The bride and groom will be without doubt the centre of attention all day and one of my favourite parts of the day is pulling them away from the maddening crowd for some quiet time. This gives them the chance to breath and for me to capture the most important special bond between them.

Talk us through your style of photography When I first started, I wanted my wedding clients to tell me more or less what they wanted. But I realised early on that I didn’t need to be told what to do, and now eight years on, I’ve developed my own style. I’m confident enough now to go out and say, “this is how I do a wedding”, and if people like my style, then they book me. If

If Sarah’s style of photography appeals to you (we love her group shot on the opposite page!) then drop her a line.

“ ’ve always known I wanted to be a business woman but never quite knew doing what. It wasn’t until 2012 that my own bridal journey began and I experienced what it meant to be a bride in the post Royal wedding era of Kate Middleton and Prince William. I soon realised that my 19 year career nursing had prepared me well to transfer the skills I had gained; looking after brides during one of the most important times of their lives, in a way they wanted and deserved hence Iconic Bride was born. I think that part of being a bride is the innate desire to be remembered especially in today’s times. Being remembered for having THE wedding, the most perfect venue and for most brides what a bridal beauty you were. Get it right then you are revered and copied, get it wrong and you might well be remembered for an eternity of how not to look on your wedding day. It’s no surprise lace still heavily populates current bridal fashion 5 years after the royal nuptials. There is no escaping our lives are now lived through social media, and images that perhaps once graced our living room mantel piece for our eyes only appear on Instagram, twitter or facebook just mere seconds after the words “I do” are said. Iconic bride is about creating brides people will remember in a positive way by focussing on the brides hopes and dreams for herself and her vision for her wedding day and walking alongside the bride in her unique bridal journey to achieve that. We at Iconic Bride work to achieve the brides hopes and dream vision for herself through ensuring excellent detail to styling, offering a range of high quality and luxurious bridal gowns to choose from and not least by ensuring brides have a truly personalised experience that

begins with a dedicated 1-1 appointment with a bridal consultant who stays with them for the duration of the appointment. We are based in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire in a luxurious and intimate boutique which compliments our thoughtfully handpicked collection of bridal gowns stocked to us from Sophia Tolli, Nicola Anne, Watters and Catherine Parry, with a stunning range of designer accessories from Ivory &Co and Benjamin Adams Shoes. In addition we also offer the highly feminine and romantic Watters Maids dresses for bridesmaids. Our gowns start around £750 - £2000 which reflects the high quality of fabrics and craftsmanship that have lovingly gone in to the gowns. Myself and daughter/business partner Tiffany look forward to welcoming you. Appointments are available Tuesdays – Saturdays with late night Thursdays also available. We look forward to welcoming you to Iconic Bride and making you a bride no one will forget.” www.iconicbride.co.uk 01623 371174 Iconic Bride, 31 High Street, Edwinstowe Mansfield, NG21 9QR

e are huge advocates of the team behind Peaktipis. Not only are their tipis of the most amazing standard and quality, their service and attention to detail is simply perfection. But don’t take our word for it – this spring, you have not one but two opportunities to see for yourselves! The fabulous Pop Up Wedding Village takes place on 24th April at Calke Abbey where you can see an array of their tipis in position complete with fire pits and beautiful styling (see www. popupweddingvillage.co.uk) Then, Peaktipis have their 7th annual Spring Open Weekend on 7th and 8th May at Heath House which is not to be missed. Now in their 6th season and proud winners of the regional Best Marquee provider in the East midlands at The Wedding Industry Awards (two years on the trot) and with an awesome record of over 200 successful weddings and events under their belt, it’s safe to say Peaktipis are on a roll. Here’s what a recent ‘Peaktipis’ bride and groom had to say; “The whole team at Peaktipis are an utter joy to work with. From start to finish they were professional, helpful, calming and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. They went above and beyond the call of duty and we would recommend them to anyone. Peaktipis weren’t the nearest to us and weren’t the cheapest BUT when compiling quotes from several Tipi companies it became clear that they were the best. Thank you Peaktipis!” — Mr & Mrs Bellenger - Gloucestershire

e have worked with the team at the Nottinghamshire for a while now and love going to see them at their beautiful venue. Having invested a considerable amount on the redevelopment of the wedding suite, it comes as no surprise that this venue is now considered one of the best wedding venues in the East Midlands. Surrounded by magnificent views of the Nottinghamshire countryside and boasting modern and stylish interiors, not to mention the warm and friendly service, brides and grooms are flocking here to say ‘I Do’. And it’s easy to see why. Here, we talk to the events manager Claire about a recent wedding which took place here and why this venue is the place to be; come rain or shine ... “Back in December 2015, as most people were rushing around getting ready for Christmas, Joanne and Hiten used their love of Winter, sparkles and glitter to turn their wedding day into a winter wonderland at the Nottinghamshire. Joanne walked down the aisle to meet her Groom to the song Glasgow love theme made famous in the movie Love Actually with Keira

W W W.

Knightley. With the couple reading their own promises to each other you could literally feel the emotion in the room. Moving through to the drinks reception the newlyweds and their guests soaked up the stunning views from the panoramic windows throughout the venue. Guests were greeted with glasses of mulled wine and mulled cider which was chosen by the couple (who secretly hoped for snow on their day!) The day itself was full of personalised touches including beautiful and intricate henna designed cookies for the wedding favours. After seeing their photos just days after the big day it’s no surprise why the newlyweds are so pleased it rained. The photos taken by Chris Denner capture the emotions of the whole day and even that moment when the umbrella blows inside out. Reading another one of our soon to be brides comments on our Facebook page says it all ‘I hope it rains on our wedding day!!!” www.thenottinghamshire.com 0115 933 3344

BRIDAL MAKEUP

WHY USE A PROFESSIONAL MAKE-UP ARTIST? W I T H VA N E S S A P E AC O C K

T

here are many reasons why I as a make-up artist would advise you to choose a professional on your wedding day however, I’m not going to! Instead I’m going to let the testimony of just one of my many brides explain her experience of first deciding on a make-up artist, to finding the right one, right through to her wedding day. “ Whilst planning my wedding a friend suggested to me that I might want to look into getting a make-up artist as she’d been too nervous to even hold her mascara brush on her big day. In all truth the thought of a make-up artist filled me with dread as the only experience I’d ever had of one was being made to look like a clown whilst on a department store make up counter! Hesitantly I rang round a few but didn’t really get much back, until I struck upon Vanessa. From the moment I first spoke to her she put me at ease with her no pressure approach and took the time to answer all my questions. When a polite, elegant lady turned up at my door a few weeks later for my trial I knew I’d made the right choice. Having taken her time to listen to the kind of look I wanted, she did my make up to perfection. Just as she was applying the final touches my fiancé walked into room. As I turned around and

he saw my face he became overcome with emotion, bursting into tears and telling Vanessa what a wonderful job she’d done. In turn Vanessa also got choked up as she was so pleased to see such a positive reaction to her work! There is no doubt that Vanessa cares deeply about the work she does and was genuinely touched when the groom saw his bride to be. On the day she proved to be the calming influence that was so desperately needed as the chaos of the day unfolded. When the hairdresser didn’t turn up and florists arrived with the wrong order, Vanessa continued to be reassuring and helpful! She truly went above and beyond her duties as a make-up artist that day and I was so thankful to have her there. I cannot recommend her highly enough!” Marianne Rashid, Nottingham. We love the fact that there’s so many images and their photography is clearly gorgeous! new and inspiring wedding stationery business has emerged onto the wedding scene in the East Midlands and we’re very excited to introduce the creative behind Rose Press; Nicola, why did you decide to start Rose Press? Ever since I can remember I’ve had a love for paper, pretty stationery and beautiful print. Having worked as a graphic designer in a number of design agencies for the past 6 years, I always wanted the challenge and excitement of having my own design studio specialising in wedding stationery. Using a combination of modern design techniques with traditional printing methods is what makes Rose Press truly unique. How does the process work from the client giving you the go ahead until the big day itself? The first step is for me to get to know the couple, if we can meet up that’s great! I love to talk weddings (I’m currently planning my own) and I like to find out as much as I can about the big day and the people behind it. I then create a mood board on Pinterest. Only when the look and feel is approved by the couple do I begin the design process. The paper, colours, typography and all the little details are considered to ensure the design truly captures the couple’s wishes. Once the final go ahead is given the work is either printed by hand on our vintage letterpress or, sent to one of our digital printers. What inspires you with your design work? I get inspiration from everywhere, my morning dog walk, spending time on Pinterest and Instagram (perhaps a little

W W W.

too much time), attending wedding fairs and talking to couples to see what they really love. I think it’s so important to take inspiration from outside the wedding world; fashion, interiors and nature are important influences in my work. What products do you offer? It’s not all about invitations, we also offer save the dates and on the day stationery; order of service, table plans, place names, hand lettered signs; all the little details to really make your big day beautiful. All our products can be printed digitally, letterpressed, foiled or even a combination of all three! What do you love most about working in the wedding industry? I’m honoured to be a part of a couple’s wedding day and love working closely with them from the initial design through to delivery of their hand printed stationery. It’s such a special day for them and that gives me a genuine passion for my work and the desire to get it just right. If you could design a famous couple’s wedding invitation, who would it be!? It would have to be Kate and Will. The royal wedding would be the perfect place for traditional letterpress printing with modern design and an element of fun. Of course there would have to be some gold foil in there too! If only they weren’t married already! To get in touch with Nicola at Rose Press: 07739006979 www.rosepress.co.uk

he Walled Garden at Beeston fields is a secret Victorian garden hidden within old red brick walls. Its flowering charm make it a perfect marquee venue for an elegant English wedding. But its not just about the venue when choosing where to hold your big day, it’s about making sure you’ve got the right team advising and supporting you through what can be years of preparation. Having only been open for 3 years the family owned business is already winning industry awards and here are the people behind its growing success. The Manager - After winning wedding planner of the year for the East Midlands in 2013, Emma Davidson joined the Walled Garden in its infancy. With over 10 years experience in the industry and a keen interest in gardening she’s passionate about her work overseeing all areas of the business. ‘It’s important to look after everyone both in terms of professional development and fun rewards. The hospitality industry is harder than most people realise and happy staff make happy couples.’ The Kitchen - Using fresh food from local suppliers and herbs from the garden is something chefs Jack and Rob pride themselves on when preparing their own menus. With over 20 years of kitchen experience each, they enjoy the freedom a family run business offers to creative and professional chefs. Head chef Jack Sherwood has been at Beeston Fields since the Walled Garden started and tells us ‘ it’s rewarding to be with something so challenging from the beginning, seeing a successful business grow from a derelict garden.’ The Office - It all begins in the office, from the marketing to the viewings and event planning appointments. Jade and Ella are wedding and event planners and both joined the Walled Garden last year after working at local hotels. With professional degrees in events, a wealth of hands on knowledge and personal dedication to providing

a tailored service they ensure our couples are looked after every step of the way. Samantha is a part time events administrator. She organises the venues wedding fairs and open days as well as accounts invoicing and customer correspondences. Having been a member of the team for over a year the office wouldn’t function without her. The Marquee - The operations team are the biggest area of the venue and are responsible for making sure the months of planning are perfectly portrayed on the big day. Simon Fletcher is the operations manager who joined us at the start of 2015. With impeccable standards of customer care he is a credit to the company. With a close knit team by his side, Simon will be key to developing the company further and ensuring it keeps a top level of service and presentation. Matt started on the bar and quickly showed great potential, now our assistant operations manager his main area of expertise remains at the bar focusing on staff training and trend spotting for the seasons ahead. Ann and Lika are the fairy godmothers of the marquee! Lika joined as a supervisor to oversee events and has impeccable attention to detail. She’s extremely creative and ensures the marquee is looking its best at all times. Ann is married to our gardener Pete and has been involved from the beginning. She’s always got a smile on her face whether she’s watering the plants or decorating the tables Ann is a valued member of the team and an asset to the company.” To get in touch with the team at The Walled Garden; www.walledgardennottingham.co.uk 0115 9257 062 Old Drive, Wollaton Road, Nottingham NG9 3DD

e enjoy working with the team at Premier. They’re professional, hard working and know a thing or two about how to style a wedding with their endless props and decor items to hire. Here, we chat to their wedding co-ordinator Libbie; So, tell me Libbie, what do you do at Premier Events and how would you sum up your role? As Premier’s Wedding Co-ordinator, I am the first point of contact for most of our couples. I typically respond to their initial phone call or email to discuss their ideas and requirements. From there, I offer advice and support on the couples requirements, typically this includes suggested timings plus any venue specific points we can advise on, such as what works well and where to position things. Also in a lot of cases, I will also set up a meeting to go into more depth as to what the bride and groom want and try and come up with creative ways in which we can achieve their ideas. What is your favourite product/service you supply for weddings? People love a photo, especially at weddings but the traditional booths can look a bit out of place against all the pretty décor. This is why I love our new Magic Selfie Mirror because unlike a booth, it’s pretty in it’s own right. With it’s beautiful ornate frame, it looks just like a boutique floor length mirror, making it the perfect way to capture those special moments, while ensuring your décor remains classy and stylish, what’s not to love!?

What do you love most about working for Premier Weddings? Premier is a family, and that’s the best thing. We are not the biggest events company (yet), but this means we can be really flexible and spend time with our clients to ensure we deliver the best service and advice. The team are also great, we all get on so well, which is why I think we are growing so quickly, because its not just a job for all of us here, we really do love what we do and the job satisfaction from a brilliantly executed wedding with amazing feedback, is what drives us to go above and beyond for our clients. So, there you have it. You really can be assured of exceptional customer service with Premier. To find out more, get in touch with the team; www.premier-event-services.com 0116 202 9953 info@premier-ltd.com

Talk us through your most popular requests and what seems to be trending for this year? Our most popular request has always been dance floors and LED uplighting because that’s how Ben, our MD, started to build the business along with mobile discos. Our white starlit dance floor and LED uplighters never seems to go out of fashion, and are still top of the list when it comes to wedding reception décor.

ward-winning East Midlands Makeup Artist Rochelle O’Brien shares her skincare tips to help you get glowing and gorgeous skin for your big day, using her favourite Dermalogica products. It’s no secret that if you want to look your absolute flawless best for your wedding day, you need to start with your skincare routine. If you don’t have a routine already, it’s never too late to start preparing your skin so that it can be in tip top condition for your big day. As a makeup artist, I always stress to my brides that great makeup starts with beautiful skin. If you have a good canvas to start with, your makeup is always going to look even and flawless.

Step 1 – Exfoliate Never underestimate the importance of exfoliation. It gets rid of the dead skin cells and promotes new growth. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is a fine powder which turns into a paste when moistened. Use this daily in the shower and you will have smooth skin ready for your foundation.

W W W.

Step 2 – Moisturise Follow up with a light oil free moisturiser such as Active Moist from Dermalogica. It’s a light, easily absorbed cream that suits most skin types. Apply morning and evening after cleansing to ensure that your skin is always hydrated.

Step 3 – Prime Applying a primer before your makeup helps your base to go on smoothly and will also help your makeup last longer. HydraBlur primer from Dermalogica has soft focus blurring technology to even out skin tone and smooth any fine lines.

classic venue, they’d opted for a simple rustic theme in the Pavilion dressed with gypsophila, bassia and shades of lilac and purple.

Originally from Oxfordshire, Charlotte didn’t want family and friends to be travelling such a long way before the wedding or disappearing straight afterwards. The idea of a three day wedding arose but finding a venue willing to host the celebration proved difficult. It was a twist of fate that led the couple to Hodsock Priory, a place that is now close to their hearts. Charlotte says that their original venue cancelled after four months but it was destiny as Hodsock was “10 times better”. Charlotte and Ed’s first thoughts were that Hodsock was “beautiful, awesome. We were sold from the drive in”. After a show round with Lynda Pepper, weddings manager, and meeting with George Buchanan, the ninth generation resident owner/manager, they saw Reverend Kate Bottley of Blyth’s Norman church, where they sought permission for Ed’s uncle to marry them.

Charlotte and Ed said “We loved all of our suppliers. Yvonne Fretwell made our wedding cake, Flowers by Kay created our stunning bridal flowers and floral decorations for the church and gifts and Gail Dandy Catering produced our delicious canapés and wedding breakfast.” Nearly 110 guests celebrated Charlotte and Ed’s wedding day and enjoyed entertainment from ‘Looch’ who “had our guests talking about how he’d ‘read their minds’ for months after” and Charles Burns ‘The roving artist’, a silhouette artist who had guests fascinated by his talent. Live blues music from ‘The Paul Evans Trio’ and ‘ZZ Birmingham’ kept everyone dancing all night. Sunday’s breakfast gathering for 60 guests in the Pavilion gave Charlotte and Ed a chance to relive the events of their wedding day with those closest to them. George surprised the party with an impromptu house and cellar tour. Charlotte says “It was a really nice way to end the day. Hodsock is an amazing place and you can tell how much George loves it! His family home feels like a home, we were told to make ourselves comfortable and we all felt welcomed into it.

pring 2016 marks the first anniversary of married life and 10 years of togetherness for Charlotte and Ed. They’ve hardly spent a day apart and it’s clear that their loved ones were one of the first considerations after their engagement.

They booked Hodsock’s 3 Day Wedding House Party Experience. Immediate family joined the couple for Friday’s afternoon tea and their supper invitation extended to travelling guests. Family stayed in the 5* Courtyard B&B and their parents stayed in the main House. After coming together for breakfast on Saturday, Charlotte joined her bridesmaids and Mum for wedding preparations in Hodsock’s Bridal Suite, “I’d give anything to stay there again”. The church was just minutes away and the marriage ceremony was conducted with the couple’s adored dog, Penny, as the ringbearer. The couple chose their florist, cakemaker, caterers and DJ from Hodsock’s Grand Wedding package which includes everything from flowers and cake to fizz and the wedding breakfast. With such a
