1115. A Woman’s Journey Through Art and Life “I believe that true identity is found . . . in creative activity springing from within. It is found, paradoxically, when one loses oneself. Woman can best re-find herself in some kind of creative activity of her own.” –Anne Morrow Lindbergh Regardless of her age, a woman often finds herself perpetually giving of herself to others. Perhaps instinctually, a woman gives and nourishes others—children, partners, society—often at the expense of her own desires and creativity. We give where needed, but often not to ourselves. This class is a chance to explore the depths of that which is personal, creative, and solely yours. Through photography or drawing—your choice—and journaling we will tap into the imaginative spirit that is uniquely woman. We will explore the roadblocks that we and others create for ourselves that keep us from reaching our true passions and life goals. This is a great opportunity to explore your creative essence in the company and support of like-minded peers and to create a unified body of artwork that represents your true spirit. Class is limited to 8 participants.
