Recap: 2022 Virtual Installation By Michelle Ding, PharmD, BCPP, APh, President
Our Chapter held our 2nd virtual Board Installation on Friday, January 28th, 2022, hosted by our 2021 social affairs co-chairs, Michelle Ding and Stephy Lee. Over 30 members, guests, and students attended the event. We have originally planned our event to be in-person and was looking forward to seeing everyone again. However, due to the Omicron surge, we quickly pivoted ourselves to host the event virtually out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our members. We are very grateful for the ongoing support of our members and your flexibility during these uncertain times. The event started off introducing distinguished guests in attendance – Past CSHP and SBLB President, Steve Thompson, and Past CSHP President, Kenn Horowitz. We greatly appreciate your support of our chapter! We also had interactive pharmacy trivia throughout our event to encourage audience participation and a chance to win Amazon gift cards. We also recognized past SBLB presidents who were in attendance. Steven Thompson conducted the installation of the 2022 board. The 2021 SBLBSHP President, John McGady, was presented with a plaque of appreciation for his leadership during another year of uncertainty with COVID. John, then, recognized the 2021 board members with a speech of appreciation. 3
