It takes a few crashes into the ceiling, against the walls and ontop of the dog to learn how to control it. Kids can create different action sequences and program them into the remote so the Bat-Pod can do them over and over again but this wasn’t the biggest attraction to our kids, but they all enjoyed watching Bat Man crash into things, luckily the toy is extremely durable. The toy is very easy to operate and the remote control is very responsive, it works on all surfaces including carpet but worked best on our hardwood floors. The recommended age for play is 5-7 years but we found our older tweens liked it just as much if not more because they understood the “recording feature.” — $44.99

Need for Speed fans will be delighted with this year’s offering. Great graphics, amazing crash scenes, awesome sound effects. The races have a great pace but are a little on the short side. Sense of speed and frame rate is impressive. Great selection of cars, our enthusiasts were obsessed with getting all of them. We found the multiplayer option a little more intense.
