Local Tamborine Mountain resident Sandra Hardie is no new comer to the phrase, living your best life. Originally from Western Australia this well travelled student of nature settled in the Scenic Rim over 10 years ago. At 61 years of age, she has been married, divorced and remarried, and is a proud mother and grandmother.

As we sit together in her quaint mountain cottage I also get to know Teddy, Sandra’s beautiful rescue dog who evidently has been successfully healed by her tender love and kindness. Our conversation starts with life chats and about Teddy and I am instantly drawn to Sandra’s warmth and humour.

When I ask Sandra to best describe her life thus far, she warmly smiles and says, “like for many other people, my life has been one hell of a roller coaster. But there are no mistakes, just lessons learnt and opportunities to grow. I would best describe life like a heart monitor. A healthy heart monitor shows a continuous series of ups and downs, if you have a flat line you are dead!! And cruising is just plain boring and uninspiring.” It is obvious Sandra has a love for life’s journey and a passion for helping others discover their greatness.

Sandra is compelling to sit and talk with. She is magnetic and a little time in her presence has a healing effect. When you first meet this wonderful woman the air is filled with the beautiful Sacred Blends products that she wears. Sandra’s Sacred Blends founding product “Calm” was originally curated for a flighty horse and is the result of her deep connection to the earth, it’s animals and energy frequencies. Everything Sandra has lived and experienced in life has fuelled her passion for helping, healing and calming others. Her family connection to the rituals of alchemy and the earths sacred oils are what make her products so unique. Having experienced a fast paced corporate life, she is no stranger to stress, anxiety and sadness. Sacred Blends were created to help disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself.

“The formula for sacred night creme came to me in a dream. It contains Frankincense, Myrrh and Gold and is made using sacred alchemy” explains Sandra.

The products really were in the beginning made for herself and shared with her friends, and friend of friends, and now her beautiful mystical blends are sought after due to their incredible aroma and nourishing powers.

“Besides having plant based ingredients, precious oils, essential oils and flower essences which are healing and nurturing and naturally age defying there is a woo woo aspect. My products are made by me in small batches with love and care and they are then charged with the 528 frequency with a Tesla practitioner plate. This frequency is the same as nature and the heart, so it has a subtle resonance. This is why our tagline is ‘More than Skin Deep’. All the products are designed to calm and balance you.” As Sandra sits and chats about life and her products, I can’t help but feel our conversation is about so much more than a brand or a product.
