Visit Boonah
Flavours Cafe
Authentic country hospitality.
Owners Mark and Jennifer share their view on what makes Flavours Café so famous with both locals and those visitors who frequent from out of town.
“I really believe it’s our country hospitality complimented with the ambiance generated by the fully restored Butter Factory offices where we are housed (est 1916). This approach to hospitality and our great range of in-house baked goods, traditional rustic breakfasts, lunches and friendly staff ensures we provide a conducive environment for people to relax and enjoy great company and food” Says Mark.
Jennifer also adds, “We cater to our amazing local community, both small and large groups who meet regularly at the Cafe. Along with our staff, this is the heart of our business. We also take bookings of up to 50 plus people including bus groups, bike and car clubs and post wedding breakfasts.”
Mark says with a smile, “There’s no trick to what we do, we just deliver wholesome food with a smile, so I suppose the next step is to jump in the car or on your bike for your next country adventure and head on out to Flavours Cafe and meet us. We can’t wait to look after you”

Oppy’s Fruit and Veg.
At Oppy’s the message is clear, “we are so much more than just a fruit shop.” Owners Sandra and Stuart Opperman have taken their zest for life and injected it into their beautiful space at the old butter milk factory. The building alone has much history and is a welcoming place filled with fresh and amazing chemical free produce and that high energy - that is the Opperman way. There is always something new to find in this wholesome business. Freshly baked sourdough breads, locally made condiments, oils and sauces, nuts, cheese and even chemical free produce grown right from the Opperman family farm. Sandra says “fresh fruit and veg is food for your body and music is food for your soul.” The families passion for music is evident through the sharing of musical get-togethers aptly named - Fruit Jam. Talented artists come together, from all genres and gather at Oppys - keep your eyes pealed on the Oppy’s facebook page for more wonderful sharings of the world of music.
Oppy’s also home deliver within the region and they supply to a number of wholesale businesses in and around the Scenic Rim. Head in to Oppy’s to see what is new, it’s always changing and inspiring.
