Scenic Rim Regional Council offers community members access to a regular cultural program that's packed with free and low-cost activities. Boonah Cultural Centre: A multifunctional complex for the community, including cinema, theatre, function rooms, bar, commercial kitchen and foyer. Vonda Youngman Community Centre: Located on Tamborine Mountain, the centre is available to hire for weddings, parties, workshops, as a whole or choose individual rooms.
Our centres operate with COVID-Safe plans to keep you and our community safe.

South East Queensland Polo
Polo is an action packed, high adrenaline sport and South East Queensland is home to some of Australia’s best fields. South East Queensland Polo Club is based in the beautiful Scenic Rim. The club consists of privately owned fields which are opened up to the public for regular weekend tournaments.

Duncan and Anne Swinton formed All Turf Solutions in 2000 on a small boutique turf farm at Tamborine. Previous greenkeeping rolls helped gain a wealth of knowledge which has also been valuable with their sister company Sports Turf Operations. Around 4 years ago the decision was made to expand the turf growing operation to Anne’s family farm at Rathdowney. The Downes property has been in the family since 1895 and has seen many different crops over the years. The original homestead still stands and was made with hand cut timber from the property. It is situated on the Logan River looking up at the beautiful Scenic Rim mountains.

Bromelton House
Bromelton House is a working pecan and beef cattle property which also plays host to some of the amazing South East Queensland Polo Club's tournaments. The property has approximately 2500 pecan trees, the oldest trees being established approximately 25 years.
